Welcome to the perfect oceanfront destination, new for 2021! Calypso 207 is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo with many outstanding features, including a double balcony with the best oceanfront views in Ocean City and plenty of room to soak up the sun or dine outdoors in the shade.

This condo has been wonderfully maintained and updated throughout, including new (late 2020) vinyl flooring. There are TVs in both bedrooms and overall sleeping space for eight guests. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, central air conditioning, three TVs, private parking for one car (with additional parking available on a first come, first serve basis), elevators in the building, and a large, seasonal outdoor pool for your off-beach convenience.

What's nearby:
This direct oceanfront condo is located on 62nd Street in Ocean City, with countless things to do and see in this part of midtown when you're ready to venture out. Check out the nearby 67th Street Town Center, where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy some retail therapy at Longboard Cafe, Sweetfrog, Ron Jon Surf Shop, The Kite Loft, and Dolle's Candyland. Looking for a special night out or a scenic lunch on the bay? Some of Ocean City's best cuisine and nightlife can be found in this section of town at Fager's Island, Seacrets, Macky's Bayside Bar & Grill, BJ's on the Water, Skye Bar, and Dead Freddies Bar & Grill (which includes a cute on-site playground for kids). Stuck with a rainy day or want to beat the heat? Challenge the family to a round of mini-golf at Old Pro Golf's indoor course or a game of bowling at Alley Oops and Ocean Lanes Bowling (all are within a couple of blocks). All of this, and you'll be a short drive or bus ride from the famous Ocean City Boardwalk.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. EV charging is not available/permitted on the premises. Doing so is cause for removal. There are charging stations at 100th St. bayside, 40th St. bayside, and at Royal Farms and Wawa in West Ocean City.

Ocend of summer

The property was clean except piles of sand on deck. Property missing several items; no cleaning products (Clorox wipes), no broom or swifter; no broiler pan, only 4 forks. The sliding glass doors were very challenging to open and close they need to be lubricated

Great ocean front condo!

Loved the place. Kitchen and dining area were really big and spacious. Open into the living room. The balcony had great furniture and was very private. The ocean front view felt like we were sitting on the beach. We enjoyed our stay!

Needs some updates

The view and the balcony are spectacular. That makes me overlook some of the issues. The beds and the bedding are very clean, which is important to me. The floor had not been swept when I got there and there was sand everywhere. The shower curtain liner in my daughters bathroom is so filthy that it has an odor to it. I don’t blame the condo owner as much as I do the rental company which is a Vacasa. They should be keeping an eye on these items and if something needs replaced let the owner know. The plus is the living room is very bright and the kitchen is lovely. The bathrooms need serious updating. They are very old and very dimly lit. But again, the view is spectacular with a huge balcony.

Views for days

This condo was in a perfect location. Could watch dolphins from the balcony. The housekeeping was not the best. Found dirty socks on couch and dog toy on floor. The cupboard next to the dryer was full of lint, the baseboards were full of dust and hair, and the coffee pot needed a good scrub. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our party of seven. There is privacy from neighbors. Overall, I would stay here again.

Disgusted

The place was not cleaned before we took possession. Cheese dried in the microwave, we will say suntan lotion and sand on the bed spreads , and sand and crumbs everywhere. The tables and counters were not even wiped down. It was bad!! They did refund our cleaning fee and sent someone to clean the next day but we had to sleep there under those conditions the first night. We discovered the bedroom AC smelled BAD and previous folks had inserted 5 deodorizers in the AC to combat the smell. So it wasn’t just us but that did not help. It still smelled moldy and at times like fish. The baseboard heating elements were all rusty, covers missing and/or laying on the floor. Each person we talked to said well that is the cleaning company’s responsibility, or that is the owner’s responsibility or that is the Vacasa rental property’s responsibility and so we got a lot of run around and ppl not calling us back. They were responsive in cleaning it the NEXT day though. Hope this helps future potential renters and this motivates everyone involved to improve their services. Our experience had a negative impact on our trip. The view was great though.

Needs updating and better cleaning

Carpets dirty and toilet filthy when we arrived. Contacted Vacasa. They asked for pics. Sent pics. They said sorry and they’d refer to appropriate people. Of course, nothing happened. No vacuum for our use. Only a broom. So we lived with the filth for 5 days. Master bed is terribly hard. Only good things that make this home acceptable: an amazing view and good balcony; good table seating and ok couches. Pool was nice, too. But we won’t rent again.

Great view and location. So-so condo

Location is good. Big decks overlooking beach. Pool was OK. Condo itself has some nice features including new TV, updated kitchen and original but OK baths. There are also some real signs of deferred maintenance and lack of investment. Baseboard heat fixtures rusted and falling apart, AC unit clogged with mold and dust, ice maker doesn't work, slow drains all over (we cleared baths ourselves), furniture a little gross, one slider barely works due to crud in track, pots and pans very old. Was fine for a week but at this cost there are some better options.

horrible check in process!!!

The condo itself was beautiful and in a great location. However, It was not very clean when we arrived. It was barely swept and surfaces were dusty...I left it cleaner than when I arrived! In these times, cleaning surfaces is imperative! Also, Vacasa has a terrible check process and I will never book anything through them again!!!

Roomy

The condo was as described, plenty of room, beautiful, spacious deck overlooking the Ocean. Two things we would have liked to see differently was the cleanliness of the place and central air conditioning instead of wall air conditioners. Overall the price and location was great. The beds were comfortable. Elevators to the upper floors, and a clean pool.

Great place!!

We LOVED it here, especially the extra large balcony! Our young son enjoyed sleeping in a tent on the balcony every night. Great views, easy access to the beach, especially with two younger kids. Having a washer and dryer on site helped to decrease the amount we needed to pack. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. The only draw back was that the space could have been cleaned a little better before our arrival. That being said, I hope this company takes that into consideration, because we really want to come back to this place again. Also kudos to the receptionist that checked us in and gave us our keys. She was very friendly and polite.
