Had a great time!

Overall had a very nice time could walk right down to the beach and pool and a little shopping and dining. You can sleep six but just keep in mind any third car if have three couples needs to go off to storage and even second car no guaranteed close parking it’s first come first serve in the lot and always seemed filled so we mostly didn’t move the second car once we found a spot.

Our stay here was all we could’ve hoped for. The facilities that come with the sea colony condo were amazing. And the short walk to the beach, pool and gym was very nice.

Decent place at a reasonable price

Great views and the property was clean. There were a few things that weren't in perfect working order like a kitchen stool and closet/shower door but didn't really affect us. The property fit 6 of us, was a good location and a reasonable price. Some of the Sea Colony condos are priced way to high for a week especially when you have to buy the badges for each person.

Location, location. Perfect for families with small kids. Beach, pools are so accessible. The apartment itself was pleasant, with basic furnishings, sufficiently comfortable mattresses, and acceptably clean. Kitchen had dishware, pots and pans, utensils etc however missing some basic supplies : only one dish towel provided, there was no dish cloth or sponge, no coffee filters, no salt and pepper shaker. All in all, a good choice for a no-frills beach vacation.

Very relaxing time

Overall we had a very nice stay! The place was clean and we had a nice view of the ocean and could walk right out to the beach or pool. The beds and pillows were a little rough. I had my two college twenty year old girls with me so the twin mattresses and very flat pillows were a little tough for them. They did have one mattress topper for one of the twin beds so that helped. Also the parking wasn’t as good as other places we had stayed. We had six people/three cars. One car had to be driven out to a storage place to keep for the week. One car had a designated spot but the other was first come first serve and the lot was always full. So once we got the second car parked we were afraid to take it anywhere and lose our spot. I never felt that way anywhere else I had stayed before. Also the pool could use some umbrellas for each couple of reclining chairs there were only umbrellas at tables. But the pool water temp was very nice the beach was clean and weather was great. So overall was a good time relaxing with family!

Relaxing beachfront stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Sea Colony. Location wise, this was perfect. There are many pools and the beach is just a short walk away. You also can walk to the boardwalk and many surrounding restaurants and areas. The condo appeared as advertised. Linens and towels were provided which was one less thing to worry about packing. The kitchen had basic supplies but got the job done when we wanted to stay in to cook. There was a little dust on the tv stand but otherwise the condo looked like it was well cleaned. The only cons were a few items inside needed maintenance (the master shower door was not properly on the track, the towel rack was broken, as was the garbage disposal, and the back patio door would not lock). We notified maintenance and they promptly stated the items would be fixed after leaving so hopefully it will not be an issue for future renters. Overall we would gladly stay at the resort again.

This unit was missing basic items such as dishwasher and washer detergents ; the tv remote didn’t work and WiFi instructions required tv Master bathroom shower doors and runners need good cleaning and are off their rails It would help if better itemization of appliances was provided re items in cupboards etc Chairs are quite flimsy for adults of weight Tv/cable remotes were missing batteries Basic unit necessities were skimpy compared to other units we have rented ie garbage bags , cleaners , paper towels , appliance needs

Steps to the Beach & Balcony Ocean View

Sea Colony is well maintained and well run. The flower planters are gorgeous. (My husband saw hummingbirds visiting the hibiscus!) The unit is oceanfront with a lovely ocean view and it's a short walk to the water. I chose this unit because it included sheets and towels which is so convenient. For me, this is a big plus. It wouldn't take much for this unit to get the fifth star. The floor needs a deep cleaning to get the dirt out of the textured tile. There's a broom, but no dustpan. The master shower door comes off the track. The kitchen had most things. If you think you will need a hand mixer or large pot for cooking pasta, bring them. The potato peeler works if you press really hard. We were traveling with a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old so the glass-topped coffee table, end table and dining table were a bit nerve-wracking. We wished they were wood tops, but if you don't have small kids in your group, it is not a problem. The living room has a large screen TV and the bedrooms have smaller TVs. It was nice to put on a show for the kids to watch and transition to sleep.

The place was flirty, dirty, and everything outdated!!! Besides that, the shower door did not work, shower head is loose and the floor black with dirt. The bedroom with twin beds, closet door is broken, TV and plugs don’t work together not enough outlets. The bed sheets improper for the bed, the floor unacceptably beyond dirty. The hallway hot water tank closet disgusting and filthy and doors don’t work. The broom was in this closet. The filter was filthy and gross and we as renters replaced it. The bedroom with queen bed, closet loaded with material and vacuum and no place to put belongings. The light switch for the room is in the hall, the outlets were broken. The entry door needs to be adjusted!!!! The kitchen had a broken coffee maker, we had to call Vacasa and they came with very small 4 cup coffee maker and they were kind and replaced right away. Very limited teaspoons, the refrigerator is outdated and not keeping things cool and leaking!!!!! The living room is not comfortable, the balcony and cob webs are all over and dirty. The sliding door does not close properly nor the screen. Would not recommend this place at all. Absolutely not worth the money we paid. The owner needs to get serious with their investment!!!!

Great Condo, Beautiful Location

Loved our week in this condo. Minimal furniture with an outstanding leather sofa... we fought over who got the particularly comfy corner seat. Excellent location on the second floor with easy walk-up so we didn't have to bother with the elevator. Beautiful view of the ocean and super easy access to the pool. Vacasa sent helpful emails and texts before and after the trip. An excellent experience overall.

Sea Colony is a nice community

The online booking experience was very accommodating the grounds lovely the view is lovely. However a huge negative was we stayed at Georgetown house unit 204 and after checking in at four and getting unpacked and walking around we noticed that our feet were all dirty on the bottom and hair sticking to our feet. Obviously the floors were not clean when we decided to cook dinner when I went to get the big pans out of the drawer under the range they were all greasy not cleaned and then I noticed there was another baking Tray on top of the microwave that was used with cooked food on it and never cleaned and some of the dishes had to be washed before they could be used so this was a huge disappointment when you take into consideration a cleaning fee is charged and the price of a two night stay it just didn’t sit real well. I called your company and spoke to a woman named Kathy who was going to have someone get back to me about cleanliness of our unit no one ever called back. This was a special planned weekend away with mother and daughters and I like to know what your company is willing to do to make it right
 The cleanliness of our unit was far from acceptable. I don’t know if I feel comfortable rebooking or recommending in the future.
