This condo is located beachfront on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. It is located on the sixth floor with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Mexico. Soft beachy colors enhance the feeling of comfort within. The kitchen has bright white cabinets, granite counters and new stainless appliances including microwave, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. A peninsula has been added with four bar stools for seating. All dishes, pots, and utensils you need to prepare and serve meals are provided. The bathroom features a shower/tub combination, sink, and vanity.

Peaceful spot

We had a wonderful stay for a quick trip to the beach! My only complaint is that I wish we would have stayed longer! Perfect location and weather. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We look to return in the future!

Home away from home

We’ve had a wonderful time. After a day of fun and adventure it was good to come “home” to a safe and comfortable place. We had everything we needed and a view to die for. The beach wasn’t crowded and beautiful.

Beach trip

Nice little condo with amazing view. Loved hearing the ocean all night. They also provide 2 beach chairs and an umbrella that a beach attendant sets out every morning. That was awesome.

Another great stay!

This is our second time staying in this particular unit. My wife and I stayed for our anniversary in October of 2022 and loved it! We loved it so much that we made sure we stayed here again on this trip with the kiddos this time! Highly recommend! Thanks for the memories made once again!

Had such a gorgeous view. We slept with sliding doors open and listened to the waves rolling in. Only thing we didn’t like was parking wasn’t the best because they were redoing the parking garage but that’s okay. It was such a great view and had chairs with an umbrella included

Great View, Terrible Bed!

The view was amazing and it was right on the beach. The bed was worn with dips in it and was horrible. The place needs a good deep clean. I was wiping down cabinet doors and needed to clean the sticky pots and pans before using them. The saving grace for this place was the view and quiet beach.

No towels

Place was decent. Smelled weird at first but I think that was cleaning supplies used. There was an old dead moth on ceiling that looked like it had been there a while. Box spring was stained & underneath bed & couch needed cleaned. There were also some mildew spots on pull out bed. My biggest problem was lack of towels given. There were only 6 gave for a family of 4 for whole vacation. When I ask. They said that was plenty & would not give more. I would’ve much rather stayed in a hotel.

Mediocre at best

We didn't receive the room we paid for and didn't know it until we arrived. The first room we were in was filthy and outdated. The front desk staff did their best to correct our problem but we still did not receive what we paid for and will never be back.

ISLANDER FORT WALTON BEACH

A BEACH TRIP WAS ON OUR BUCKET LIST AND THE CONDO AT THE ISLANDER - SUITE 603 - OVERFLOWED OUR BUCKET!!! BEAUTIFUL CONDO AND VERY CLEAN. RIGHT ON THE BEACH!. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CONDO!

Anniversary getaway

Overall, we had a great trip. We are repeat Okaloosa Island visitors. The mattress in this unit was uncomfortable and appeared to lack support from the box springs and frame. We’d also suggest two wide curtain panels that are dark instead of eight small pink panels that are difficult to align to fully close and block out light. Otherwise, our stay was great!

Perfect for couples getaway

The home was nicely decorated with a perfect viewing the gulf! The bed was comfortable and the check and check out was simple. The price was reasonable and the local grocery and restaurants are just a short distance. My husband and I would stay again!

Nice place to stay

The room was very nice with a great view of the ocean. It was so quiet and peaceful. They only issue we has was the mattress. It was broke down and hard on our backs.

Nice view!

The condo was clean and the view was really nice. Right in front of the beach. Vacasa staff was awesome and thorough and even called during our stay to make sure we were good. We stayed at the Islander last June and they have since painted the outside a beautiful, peaceful blue/teal. The bed seemed to have a memory foam mattress and the body indentations were very visible when we walked in. Unfortunately, it slept as bad as it looked. Another issue was the choice of curtains. The light pink curtains looked brand new; however, they were no match for the bright morning sun if you were trying to sleep past sunrise. The water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired as well. All in all, I would probably stay at the Islander again, but will definitely choose a different unit.
