This Tropical vacation rental at Destin West offers an open floor plan! Our Destin West Villa has partial views of both the Gulf and bay. Your reservation includes beach service of two chairs and one umbrella. The beachside complex offers a 5,000-square-foot pool, a splash garden for the kids, a kiddie pool, and a large hot tub. Also, you have an annually heated pool beneath the villas. The beachside also has a state of the art Fitness Gym. The bayside offers a 700-foot lazy river, a heated pool with a waterfall flowing into it, and two large hot tubs in the center of the Bayside complex. There is also a gradual decline pool that feeds into the Lazy River. The bridge connecting the beachside complex to the bayside complex makes using all of the amenities at Destin West easy. This is the perfect location since The Gulfarium, The Boardwalk, and many shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

This renovated third-floor villa has a tropical décor. The living space has a queen sofa bed with a TV and DVD player. The kitchen has a gorgeous parrot backsplash, a refrigerator, mini-dishwasher, microwave oven and a two burner cooktop. This condo has all the utensils to cook a home-cooked meal and enjoy it on the patio. You can use your laptop anywhere in the home or patio with WiFi.

The open bedroom offers a TV and a decorative armoire. The bathroom has a garden style tub with privacy glass and a walk in shower.

Room for improvement

The resort is amazing, staff are friendly, location is close to restaurants and shopping. This unit needs some repairs but is cheerful and bright.

Great location

It was a great place, great location, very hard to find to check in, no TV would work, bed was very hard and you felt the springs but all and all we appreciated the stand and would come again.

Cute place to stay!

Great location

This is a perfectly located condo. Super easy access to the beach, pools and the Boardwalk restaurants and shopping. The condo includes two rental chairs in the beach which is worth over $200. Super communication- text and phone. Very clean.

Well priced.

You get exactly what you pay for. Pull out couch is the least comfortable thing in the world, can feel every single spring, not suitable for sleeping. Everything else is wonderful, very clean, lovely patio, everything you could need.

Patio door was broke on our arrival and one chair had blood like stains on it. Couch had stains on one cushion.bedroom dresser missing knobs/handles. Otherwise great place to stay. Friendly staff on sight.

Okay for a quick stay

This unit is okay if you don’t plan on spending a ton of time in it. The sliding glass door on the patio barely functions. It took me and my husband both to close it. The room was not cleaned as well as it should have been. Sand in the floor and hair in the shower that did not belong to us. Our code to the lock stopped working two hours before check out while we were trying to take our stuff to the car. The listing says there is an ice maker in the unit and there is not. Overall we would stay at this resort again but not in this particular room.

Overall pretty good

If you don’t care about the small things, it’s a pretty solid apartment at a great location. There is no hot water for the tub, barely warm. That was disappointing as we were looking forward to taking a relaxing bath! The AC does not get COLD COLD so if you need a freezing room this is not the place. I appreciate they changed the air filter after I said something about the AC. There is no toaster like in the picture only a microwave and two burners and a slow cooker. The sheets are very scratchy. No beach chairs or anything like that. But the beach access is so great, we really enjoyed it. The lazy river is awesome. The apartment is spacious at least for a couple and the patio is really nice. The overall resort feels so safe and the beach is beautiful. I’m not sure if there is laundry on site because they gave us two Tide pods but no directions or indication on how to use it. There weren’t really any directions of how to find anything, which would be helpful because the resort is pretty big. Overall, we would book this location again if the price is reasonable.

Girls weekend stay

Great clean condo with plenty of space for my friend and I and our 2 daughters. Condo provided everything we needed. A few things could be improved upon for example the hand towel rack kept coming off the wall and needs a simple permeant fix, also many of the light bulbs were blown and need to be replaced. (very much irritating) The major disappointment was the rental agency themselves. I never received an email or phone call prior to arrival explaining the process, key code, or anything. Also even when I did late check in (630pm is not late when you can't check in prior to 4pm) it was not explained to me that my building was across the road. Thank goodness for the assistance of another rental agency on site. The property was fantastic, the pools, beach access etc there is some issue though when you have a security guard hanging at the pool area all evening making sure no minor rules are broken but there was a young teen just across the road on the 3rd floor hanging on the wrong side of the railing for a picture with all her teen friends.

Horrible service!!!

We have stayed at Destin West for 10yrs and in this particular room 3 or 4 times. This time was awful. The sofa bed is broken and not even attached to the coach so it is not useable. The couch does not sit right because the bed is broken. There was no toaster to be found. The microwave is not a conventional microwave. The balcony door is broken so if you open it then you can not shut it. The room did have beach service, but it is advertised to have a balcony box with chairs, umbrellas, and toys. We planned to use those chairs so we didn’t have to wait on beach service. Of course, there was nothing in the balcony box. I reached out immediately and gave them permission to come into the room. I sent them pictures and still nothing was done. I received 1 call while I was on the beach and when I tried to call back, it wouldn’t receive calls. Two days went by and nothing was done. Then I randomly receive a message that they are sorry and are just going to credit me $75. I told them that that wasn’t enough considering my kids had no where to sleep, but of course they did not respond.

Relaxing Trip

My friends and I liked this property! There were 3 of us, so we had 2 people in the bed and we brought an air mattress for the 3rd person due to reading reviews about the uncomfy couch mattress. It worked well and there was a perfect amount of space for the 3 of us. I honestly thought the property would be smaller! It was nice to be able to sit out on the patio. Perfect distance of a walk to the beach. Couldn't have asked me a closer distance. I thought the place was pretty clean and I didn't smell any weird odors like previous reviews have said. The only issue we had was that they only gave us 2 wristbands instead of 3. It took a while to get a hold of someone from the Vacasa company. Luckily, no one was checking wristbands at the beach or pool when we went. We eventually got our 3rd wristband. It was just annoying having to text and call the company a bunch of times since we had the right amount of people on the reservation. Anyways, I've been to this resort 2 times before and I would definitely recommend staying here. The lazy river and hot tubs are very relaxing! We went during our spring break trip and it wasn't that busy, but definitely would be busier in the summer time.

Not very organized

I loved the lazy river. The whole place has a bit of a rundown feel to it. There was poop on the skyway for over a day before someone cleaned it up. We called and called about it. There doesn't seem to be a real system in place.. Our first day we couldn't do anything because we were an armband short and had to wait until the next day. Calling and opening a ticket did not help. Maintenance did come hook up the TV when we got there. It would have been nice if there had been a map to show where everything was. The room was ok but there is a window into the bathroom from the living area and everything was half broken or loose. The balcony door takes a lot of work to get it open and the high ledge tripped me every time. All the pool and beach things are broken and crammed into the box. We didn't use them. And the room smelled like mildew. I loved the parking garage and the beach access

Super Cute! Theme right on!

The decor was wonderful especially the wall looked like a backdrop, took many pics with it.. The hula hut look was a perfect touch and the balcony set up was awesome as well! Color schemes perfecto! Very comfy and clean. Location location location Superb! Walking distance to the pier and Boardwalk! Definitely be back! Ty! 🏖😍

Great Location and Amenities

This is a great little place to stay! Two improvements I would recommend is sofa bed mattress replaced! Cleaning staff needs to work harder on floors and DUST! AC filter was awful.

Wonderful location and space

This was the ideal spot for my time at the beach. The condo complex is located on the beach in a prime location. Pool is great, parking is safe/easy. The unit was spotless and ideal. I'll be back!

Condo Review

Me and my family had a great time staying at this condo. It was easy to check in, & check out. The place was clean, and everything we needed was there when we arrived! The pools, lazy river, and hot tubs were great! We did have a couple issues though. The mattress on the pull out couch NEEDS to be thrown away ASAP and replaced! It should have been changed a long time ago! It’s so awful and u can literally feel the bars under it. And also If you call and ask for more towels, or anything it might take a day or two for them to get it to you! Other than that it’s a very great place to stay!
