Cette maison de plain-pied de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes, a une grande cour avant avec une douche extérieure et est à ½ mile à pied de la plage! (sortie 9A - Mid-Cape). Idéal pour une grande famille (amis à quatre pattes bienvenus aussi!) le «Blue Heron», peut accueillir confortablement 6-8 personnes: la chambre 1 a 2 lits jumeaux; chambre 2 a encore 2 lits jumeaux; la chambre 3 a un lit queen. Non seulement une courte promenade jusqu'à la plage, la maison est également idéalement située dans le centre de Dennis Port avec des magasins sans fin, des restaurants, des glaciers et les meilleures heures heureuses du Cap à portée de main - pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns: The Oyster Company, Kream N 'Cone, Irish Pub, Jimmy Plunkett Happy Hour @ the Improper, The Red Nun, Sundae School, le célèbre Ocean House Tiki Bar en bord de mer… pas besoin de conduire n'importe où!

Cette maison entièrement équipée avec un barbecue à gaz pour les activités de barbecue, une cuisine pleine de casseroles, poêles, assiettes, bols et plateaux de service - vous l'appelez, c'est ici!

We had a great stay at the Blue Heron. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The home provided plenty of room for our family to relax and enjoy our week away.

Amazing Place and super dog friendly!

We had such a nice stay here, loved how close everything was and how dog friendly the house and yard were for our pup! Definitely plan to return!!

Everything you need

Very clean and comfortable home. Perfectly outfitted for your stay, has everything from utensils to the fire pit. While not directly on the water, it is very easy to walk to and the location makes venturing out to neighboring towns very easy.

Great house! Great location!

6 of us ( my husband and 2 kids and my parents) and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We loved that there was so much space to put away our things. We loved the yard! The location was perfect. The house is decorated so nice and it’s very easy to feel at home there. We will definitely be back!

Great house and location

We really enjoyed our week at the Cape - the house is clean, spacious and in a very convenient location - walking distance to the beach in one direction and to Rory's market, stores and restaurants in the other direction. Easy bike ride to get on the rail trail as well. We recommend Rory's for smoothies and breakfast as well as supplies!

Funtastic

Very clean and neat. Plenty of open room to have multiple people hanging around for conversation. Nice deck in the front with plenty of yard space. Best thing was we were able to bring our dog and there was a dog run.

The Blue Heron

The house was and location was perfect. It was well stocked, clean ablnd very comfortable. My family & I had a wonderful time in Dennis Port. The locatio was great, close to the beach, shops & Sundae School (we love Sundae School). There was only one issue with checking in and not having the door code but the owner was quick to respond.

Great House Grest Location

We had 2 couples stay here for a wedding at The Lighthouse Inn. The house was clean, well stocked, well laid out, comfortable and convenient to sa many things. My only complaint is we didn’t have a longer stay to enjoy the place for longer.

September is a great time to spend on the Cape

Had a great stay @ The Blue Heron. It is a great house, my family had a relaxing week of beaches, boating, shopping and dining out @ some incredible local restaurants. We are planning next years trip already---can't wait.

Another great vacation at the Blue Heron! Perfect spot for our family. Walking distance to beach( although driving with all beach stuff easier). Close to restaurants, activities and groceries. The Blue Heron is very comfortable for families and has everything you need to cook in. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice house in Dennisport.

This property was clean and very well maintained. It is a corner lot so can be a little tricky to find initially. The house is spacious with a beautiful yard to play and relax in. Beach chairs and toys and bikes are not provided so this added additional luggage. The beaches within walking distance are very small. The town center is very small and offers little. This property is very nice. The location is not the best.

Beach Get-Away with friends

This was the perfect property to rent with friends for a girl's get away. We had two gorgeous beach days at Mayflower Beach which is only a short drive from the home. The Blue Heron does not disappoint. It has adorable beach-themed decor, comfortable beds, a wonderful outdoor shower and plenty of room for eight guests. Having two full baths was a definite bonus. The listing is very accurate and the owner Kevin was responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend renting the Blue Heron for a great stay on the Cape. The home is located near many restaurants and beaches and the owner provides a detailed power point document prior to your stay loaded with information about the area. The home is on a corner lot, but the street was remarkably quiet. Although I did not travel with my dogs on this trip, I am a dog owner and I would consider renting this property in the future. I would suggest perhaps fencing in a section of the side, front yard for future guests who may rent the property and bring their dog(s) or young children along. I often vacation with my dogs and love to rent properties with a fenced in yard for safety and peace of mind while traveling. If you love the Dennis/Dennisport area, I would recommend this rental! My friends and I had a wonderful stay and appreciate the cleanliness and all the amenities it had to offer.

Great house , everything was clean and as advertised. Close to everything and a pleasant surprise , my first VRBO and won’t be my last. My friends were amazed at how new everything was . Thanks for a great place to stay I would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Pleasant home on Cape Cod

This property was exactly what we were hoping for when we travelled to Cape Cod...a comfortable, clean, and tidy home away from home. Three bedrooms accommodated family with a nice open family-kitchen-dining area. The location in Dennis Port is convenient to beaches, shopping, rail trail and activities (like going to the candy store on a rainy day)!

Beautiful house in a great location close to the beach

The five of us, three adults and two teenage children, and our little dog, had a wonderful time at the Blue Heron. The house was clean and comfortable with ample space for all of to enjoy one another's company and also to have our own private spaces. There are front and back decks for grilling and dining outdoors. The house is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, and a short drive to Sea Street Beach. We also took a couple of 20-minute drives to Mayflower Beach and Gray's Beach. The house is also practically next door to The Oyster Company, where we had a wonderful dinner, and a 5-minute walk to Rory's Market, an amazing healthy market with fresh produce as well as sandwiches to order. Cross the street to the fabulous Auntie's Ice Cream Parlor and other shops and eateries along Main Street. Kevin and his son were easy to communicate with, promptly answered any questions we had, and were all great hosts. We loved our stay and would gladly return next summer.

Post Labor Day beach week

Having just retired from teaching for 29 years my husband & I wanted to enjoy beaches on the cape when they were free of kids. The weather was stellar, it was our first time there. The house was wonderfully clean & welcoming. Kitchen supremely well stocked with everything one could need, there was even a quart of real maple syrup in the pantry, not that awful fake stuff. Communicating with Kevin, the host, was very easy. He quickly answered all our questions. Check in was a breeze. Queen bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable but the other beds less so. They would be fine for kids, I guess. The one surprise was being asked to wash, dry, fold & restock the towels we used before checking out. If we failed to do this, we would have been charged an additional fee. This was our 7th or 8th rental through vrbo & the first time we had to launder household towels. As there were just two of us, it was only one load but it could be a problem for a larger family. That is the only reason for giving the property 4 instead of 5 stars.

A gem in Dennis Port

A beautiful home that is well kept and everything you could possibly need during your stay is in the home. Spacious and tastefully decorated this is a quality home to stay in. Owner is very quick to respond to any inquiries and the information packet that is sent to you after booking is clear, concise and full of recommendations and guidance. It was nice sitting on the side deck watching life go by around you and the rear deck is private. There are restaurants and pizza within walking distance. Shaw's market is only a 5 min drive away. This is a newer VRBO offering so not a lot of reviews but do not hesitate to book. You'll be glad you did.
