Our family had a great vacation in the mountains! The location is perfect: close to all the action, but tucked away with a beautiful view. The house was great for our multi-family group. The pool and hot tub were great for the kids. We really enjoyed our stay and would rent again.
The views were absolutely stunning. Our overall experience was amazing. If you want any specific kitchen items, you sould bring them, only the basics were available.
Very pretty view! Lovely home with perfect size pool for kids. Just beware that if you lose power you also have no running water- well us on a pump. Bring flashlight.
This was literally the vacation we have been waiting for and this cabin met each and every expectation! My only thing...I had 3 kids....2 years, 3 years and 6 years old. The TVs did not connect to Wifi at all so was tough getting them to sleep in the kids room after the first night without the usual Youtube or Disney Movies.... Other than that we had an amazing stay! The hot tub was clean and hot! The pool!? Wow....amazing the kids didnt want to leave. They didnt want to miss out on the pool time. We had maintenance stop by with propane and we didnt even need it. That was super cool! The kitchen had everything we needed plus! We had plenty of towels, toilet paper and paper towels. Everything was so perfect. We picked a nice hot week loved it! The kids enjoyed themselves and we had a nice time as well. The fire pit near the pool was a nice way to end our nights! We went out to Pigeon Forge and it was about 15 min there not bad at all! We had such a great time couldnt be happier. Would absolutely stay here again no doubt about it. Didnnot have very many issues, but If I had questions I receieved quick responses. Thanks again!
we were dissappointed in the cleanliness of the house...outside construction debris from pool left all around, spider webs and dirt on decks, inside dust bunnies, and dirt from previous renters, and a lower level door that was used to access pool area was very difficult to open.
My family and I picked this cabin for the view. We were not disappointed! Beautiful. The cabin fit our family of 10 perfectly! Location was great. Equal distance to attractions. Thank you for a memorable vacation.
We had a nice stay. The property seemed new and had nice furnishings. When we called the property manager he responded by text message. All in all a good experience.
Conveniently located just outside Pigeon Forge. It was nice being so close to the attractions, but having a private, quiet place to stay.
There were 6 adults in my group, the 3 king suites were perfect!
We played air hockey, enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed and played games on the porch while enjoying the view of the mountains. The dining room table was perfect for playing games as well. Host was very responsive. Easy check-in.
Great place to stay!
The cabin was beautiful, clean and peaceful! We had a wonderful time here. Only thing lacking was garbage bags (they only provided two for a 5 night stay) laundry soap (1) , hand soap (0) ...things like that. Otherwise ... perfect! Would definitely boom this cabin again!
Overall the stay was ok. It would have been nice to have a fire pit. I felt the property was a little further away than we would have liked and it could have been cleaner. The fireplace didn't work.
We stayed at 2420 Rainbow Falls Lane...the cabin is beautiful! Three master bedrooms on three different levels, so it gave some privacy to each family.
My only complaint is that we would have preferred a more open area for everyone to hang out in..this being my fault for not searching for a cabin with a larger common area. So, if you are looking for this, this cabin is not for you.
Also, the kitchen needs more cookware and baking pans..and an inside rug near the door. We came during a very rainy time and needed something to catch the water from our shoes!
However, this cabin is very nice..pictures listed on line are exactly as the cabin is!
Had a wonderful time with my family!!!
The cabin was brand new, you can smell the fresh new smell as you walk in the door. There were 3 full bathrooms and a half bathroom that worked great for our family of 9. The kid's were not left out in this new build, they had 2 sets of bunk beds which our kid's loved, they each had their own bed and yet was able to sleep together in the same room. The kid's room was also furnished with an air hockey which they would head to as soon as we would return to the cabin, along with an arcade gaming system, loved that it had pac man, also had their on tv, couch and love seat, the kid's were well taken care of. The hot tub was nice and was ready to go when we arrived. Very nice and well furnished kitchen, dining area and living room area, and wrap around deck. The cabin is beautiful and in a quiet setting away from any traffic. The pictures are true to what you see when you enter the cabin. Thanks for sharing your cabin with our family!
Beautiful property, very quiet neighborhood. Loved having 3 king sized beds for the adults. The bunk room was perfect for our kids. It was nice having a washer and dryer on the main floor because we had to wash the towels and rags constantly. I would recommend putting more towels and rags in the cabin, we had 12 in our party and 1 towel and rag each per guest wasn't enough! Only a few negatives, the hot tub had hair floating in it so we weren't really sure it if got cleaned. Trash gets collected on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, we arrived on Saturday and the cans were full when we got there. We cooked a lot and we couldn't take our trash out until Tuesday. We left on Thursday so we had 5 days of trash that had to fit for the collection on Thursday. Needless to say we had to take trash with us when we checked out. We really enjoyed the privacy of being out of town and being within 15 minutes of most attractions and stores.
We enjoyed our stayâthe cabin was precisely as described and pictured online. Location was everything, and this cabin was very neutral to all of our outings, from the Smoky Mountains, to museums and attractions in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
Having stayed in many VRBOâs over the years and having purchased one ourselves, my one suggestion for improvement would be provide the rock bottom basics for your guests. Even Motel Six provides shampoo and soap. Paying over $300/night without basic necessities such as soap seemed a bit much. I see that you have many Dollar General stores in your area, for five dollars one could easily provide for the immediate needs of your guests like most homes do.
We had to purchase our own laundry detergent and dishwashing soap in order to comply with your check out policy of having things nice and tidy upon departure. Then what happens; half-used products are tossed out in the trash. Not good for the environment or economy.
Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to families, hands down. Great visit
We absolutely loved this home! It is brand new. The three master bedrooms all with King beds makes deciding who gets which room an easy decision. The kids loved the bunk beds. The home is in a peaceful new neighborhood with very few homes. Very quiet. Less than 5 miles from Dollywood. The arcade with 60 of our favorite childhood games and air hockey was fun for young and old. Bath towels were all those huge, soft, fluffy towels like a 5 star luxury resort. Generally we stay away from public hot tubs, but this one is drained and filled between each renter. When we read that, we certainly had our doubts, so we checked tub immediately on check in. It was ice cold (telling us it was just filled) with new water and heated to full temp within a few hours. Exactly what we wanted. Kitchen has everything you need and grill was clean and new. Large capacity front load washer and dryer. If you ant to keep up with your sporting events while on vacation, the house has FIVE 60+ inch televisions. We will certainly be back.
The house is plenty big and has great views. The unfortunate part was how dirty it was. If I was the owner/ manager I would fire the cleaner. The kids bed sheets were filthy they definitely were not changed for it arrival. The counters and fridge were dirty, the dishes were put away in the cupboard, dirty! The hot tub was not emptied and cleaned like the posting says. There were hairs and junk in the bottom of it. There was only 1 out of 4 lightbulbs working over the the upstairs bathroom sink. The grill was so gross we didn't even attempt to use. I would highly suggest whoever owns to stop by every so often and check it out. The cleaner definitely failed to do their job and are getting paid for it anyway. Thankfully though when we called the first day and talked to the manager he refunded our cleaning fee and had the lady come out and change the kids sheets. He was very kind and apologetic. So, the house has great potential but definitely wasn't worth what we paid for what we got and the fact that we had to spend the first hour or so to cleaning. Not exactly what I want to do when I go on vacation, especially after paying do much money for it to be done.
We had such a fun time staying at this house. Our three young children loved playing downstairs on the air hockey table and arcade machine. There was plenty of space to stretch out and lots of room for sleeping. Bathrooms were extra clean. The house is about a 10 to 15 minute drive to the parkway in Pigeon forge. It's a SUPER pretty drive, passing a really cool dude ranch with lots for families to do.
Two or three things we weren't expecting: We ran out of toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags within the first day. There was enough to get you started, but definitely not enough supplies for the amount of people we listed would be staying there. Not a huge deal if you come prepared, but we've found we tend to run out after all the nearby groceries stores are closed. So come prepared with those supplies if you don't want to run into this problem as well. Another thing we didn't figure is that the location is remote enough that our cell service was pretty spotty in the house and the wifi there was pretty inconsistent, too. Last thing we had trouble with is the lack of window coverings in the main living areas. We were there in hot weather and the huge, beautiful picture windows let in a lot of heat that makes the house hard to keep at a comfortable temperature (especially upstairs). The lack of blinds or curtains through the main area made nighttime sitting slightly uncomfortable because of lack of privacy but there's very few neighbors around, so it wouldn't be a deal breaker for us. Just listing some of the things we wish we had known to factor in when choosing a house in this price range.
Overall, the house, location, and owner made for an enjoyable stay. We have lots of good memories with our children and they still talk about the fun they had there.
The rental process was easy. Communication was great, Cabin was very nice and clean. We would stay at this cabin again or any Mountain Vibe Vacations again.
