Paphos, Polis, the Akamas peninsula and the Troodos mountains are all easy to get to from Peyia, as well as passage into the Northern part of the island which was previously prohibited. There is a bus service from Peyia village to Coral Bay and on to Paphos town. However, a car is definitely recommended. Peyia itself has 2 supermarkets, one of which sells everything you can think of. There are also several ATMs around the village alongside several great tavernas and a Bank a short trip into Coral Bay. If you love Cypriot food then you will love Peyia.

Coral bay is a 5 min car ride away and there are local bars and shops that are an easy walk away. There is a regular local bus service during the summer months that runs from Corallia Hotel bus stop through Coral Bay up into Peyia village square and back again which links to the service into Paphos itself also which is ideal for those that do not want to hire a car!
