Beautiful condo in a great location. Very well-equipped kitchen, and a roomy main bedroom. The condo was clean and comfortable. Although we were there in the summer (August), the lack of air conditioning wasn't a problem because the summer nights at that altitude are wonderfully cool. We really enjoyed all the offerings of the Center Village at this time of year.
Stay was great. Location was perfect. Property manager and stay at check were great and friendly. Tom was great with the chick one and follow ups. Only bad part of the trip was that it came up an end and we couldn't extend the stay. Will be back.
This condo is situated perfectly in Copper! It's a breeze walking to the lifts in seconds and the restaurants are literally across a walk way. The kitchen is stocked super well with a Bosch dishwasher that worked perfectly and pots and pans that are easy to clean ceramic. I will pleasantly surprised they werenât all scratched up and old teflon. Everything you need is there! The hot tub is just an elevator away and is outdoors - super nice! The wash machine and dryer are located on the 5th floor and you can pay with your phone, no need to have quarters. I never had an issue having an open dryer or wash machine. The bedding is very cozy and comfortable; super soft linens which made for excellent sleeping. The only two negatives: the couch only seats 3 people and itâs fairly beat down. If you really travel with 10 people (It has 4 queen sized beds and a pull out couch)- there is no way you could all hang out together and watch a movie. The other negative - the beds are fairly squeaky. Every time we rolled over the bed squeaked; my son even noted this in his room. We traveled with just 3 people so the couch wasnât an issue and we all watched movies together a few nights. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay - it is really in the heart of Copper and so easy to get around! We would definitely stay again.
Excellent Location, really couldn't be much closer to the main lifts. First time to Copper and it was really nice that you can get back to the condo in 1 run from the top of virtually every main lift and virtually no catwalks. Beds were comfortable. The one bedroom is gigantic, the other bedroom is very small. There was an issue with the oven and the coffee maker, we mentioned the issues via text and they were fixed/replaced/cleaned the next morning.Would definitely stay there again if we return to Copper.
Pros- This property is in a great location. Really easy to get to lifts and walk to shops/restaurants. And underground parking is a huge plus. The unit was clean and the fireplace was a lifesaver to warm up. Cons: However, there are things that need improvement. First is heating. The second bedroom was at 62 degrees during our stay. While the management company quickly sent someone out to look at it, the determination was it was a result of way the thermostat is set in one part of the unit and shuts off in second bedroom based on temp in the other room; so there was no real option to fix it besides using a space heater. He gave us a space heater to use, but it didnât help. With the cost per night, having reliable heat seems like a low bar. This is the room our kids were staying in so it was a problem. Granted - we were there during very cold temps so this made it even colder than normal, but still very disappointing. Also, the property could use some TLC. For example, the toaster is broken with the knob on the front missing, several blinds are broken, and there is a hole in fireplace glass. These are just small fixes that would just help the property look better and make it more useable. And, it would be great if you could add dressers even in a closet as there was no space to put clothes besides the nightstand. If we return to Copper, weâll look for buildings in a similar location but would not return to this unit given the heat issues.
This was a wonderful short term vacation condo for our little family reunion. It gave my grand kids a good chancecto experience what its like to ski in Colorado
It was beautiful and convenient. We liked all the amenities and easy to walk to everything.
Beautiful skylight windows and spacious sleeping.
We were there around 5:30 which is past check-in for the summer so we had instructions provided. It went ok until we used the wrong elevator in the same building and the rental company doesn't answer their phones after hours. We were stuck on the 5th floor of the building with no room and all of our luggage. The people who answered for the company/emergency number were not helpful and didn't understand our situation. After an hour, I was able to get ahold of Copper Mountain property security and they helped us find our unit. They were very nice and helpful.
Outside of that hiccup, we had a great experience. We would rent it again.
What made this home such a great skiing destination is its location. As soon as we stepped out the front door, we were feet away from the lifts, equipment rental shop, and also great restaurants. We would definitely recommend it for a family vacation. Weâll be back!
The place is great! Location canât be beat (right next to lifts and center village) but quiet in the apartment which is nice. Everything inside is also good: clean, items available for food prep, etc. I do agree with others that there are no hooks to hang up jackets/pants/etc to dry them out. Otherwise, lovely home and super convenient.
The 2BR, 2 Bath condo fit our needs. No luxuries provided.
Pros: Pantry had spices and dry goods. Unit equipped with Fans and Humidifiers.
Cons: No hooks in the entire unit for ski jackets ect. No cubbies or shelves for ski helmets. Drawer space is minimal at best. The unit if not close to the elevator.
The TV's were complicated to figure out and no directions. I used my Netflix to watch anything.
First trip to CO and had a wonderful stay at this great condo in Copper. The only reason I gave 4 stars on accuracy was that there were pictures of a pool which turned out to not be at the condo building but would cost add'l to buy a day pass to a facility in the village at a rec center to swim. Everything else was GREAT and exceeded expectations! Super quiet and never ran into another guest/condo owner in the building the entire week I was there. Laundry right on site with an app to pay and see how long is left on the load.
Avid skiers, we relocated our family from Chicago to the mountains of Colorado in order to experience the year round activities that we love. With our families spread out around the country from New York, Connecticut, North Carolina, Illinois, to Arkansas; we love that Colorado offers a fairly central location to all get together.
We loved so many things about this property, the large windows and two-story ceilings in the 2nd bedroom were a major selling point. We also love the location of the building, it just doesn't get any better!
Unique to our unit are the two-story windows. We also love the views of Vail Pass from the balcony. In Fall we have spectacular views of the Aspen trees as they change color. I also love that we can sneak views of the American Flyer Ski Lift from the balcony as well as the all season Mountain Coaster.
