Studio élégant avec des murs en pierre et 3 balcons ou fenêtres donnant sur l'église de Santa Maria del Mar, est situé dans l'un des quartiers les plus authentiques de Barcelone, dans le quartier de San Pedro et la Ribera, mieux connu sous le nom El Born.

Ce studio a des éléments de la structure originale, tels que les plafonds avec poutres apparentes et les murs de brique. L'appartement dispose d'un lit double et d'une salle de bains privative. Elle comprend un canapé, une télévision et une kitchenette avec réfrigérateur, cafetière et bouilloire.

Le bâtiment n'a pas d'ascenseur et les escaliers d'accès sont étroits et en forme de spirale.

Excellent Location

We really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. This was a great little apartment in the El Born district. It is a very lively area, but the room is fairly quiet despite this. It is within easy walking distance most sites. We would definitely come back again.

Excellent location and comfortable stay

We loved the location and our stay at Born. The apartment was comfortable and very quiet considering where its located. The only caveat is if you're not in decent shape, you may want to pass due to the 5 floors of narrow spiral staircase to get to the flat. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.

Nice Location

Nice Location, well appointed but you should be in shape as on the 4th floor up a spiral staircase. Lovely rooftop deck. Clean. Host very helpful , kind, and quick to respond to queries. Could have used a couple of blankets for cool nights. otherwise great place convenient to many cafes, shopping, metro and bus line.

lovely

We loved staying here. Clean, bright, all you need, perfect location to explore the city of Barcelona and charming local neighborhood. Lots of stairs which was no problem but just be aware of that.

En cuanto al olor de las cañerías, estamos en una zona antigua de Barcelona y pese a que hemos podido solucionarlo bastante, siempre puede haber algo de olores. Lamentamos los inconvenientes que ha sufrido durante su estancia y esperamos volver a verles de nuevo para poder ofrecerles un mejor servicio. Perfect for what we wanted

The location could not be better. The studio was clean and we enjoyed our stay. As other reviewers mentioned, it's on the 4th floor and it was a bit difficult to get large luggage up the windy staircase, but that's pretty normal for Europe. The management was surprisingly nice and helpful.

Perfect Location

This a wonderful apartment. It is small with no lift but can not beat the location. Even though there were many bars below, it was fairly quiet and had a great AC.

Nice studio but could be cleaner.

This is a very nice studio but we were disappointed in a few things. The shower was moldy and the soap dispenser was empty. The sofa cushions are also soiled and need to be cleaned. The street below is noisy late into the night and kept us awake. The most challenging thing about this studio is the spiral staircase that you have to climb in order to get to the apartment. It is very steep and narrow and quite a challenge if you have lots of luggage. We also were charged a premium price, above an average stay, and when I questioned the pricing the owner said I needed to ask HomeAway, which I did, but never received a response or resolution.

Regarding the shower issues, we always check that the apartment have body soap/champú. We also maintain our shower clean and ready to use. However, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Regarding the noise, Born is a very nice area with nightlife. Although our double-glazed windows, the noise can be heard depending on the floor you are staying at. Sorry about the staircase. We always help our guests with their luggage if possible and we advertise non-having elevator in all our web pages. About the price, our program is synchronized with HomeAway's platform so we cannot change easily the price confirmed. This is why we asked you to send your request to HomeAway. Absolutely Loved It!!!!

Charming and spacious with a really comfortable bed ( super important). Our unit was on the top floor and since it's on a corner there are large windows on two sides overlooking a lovely tree lined street with very little traffic. There's a great market right across the street with an amazing selection of high quality food (and wine!)and prices much lower than we have back home. There are more cafes and bakeries nearby than you could count and it was about a 5 minute walk to the Picasso Museum or the Metro. We stayed for 5 days and had almost all of our meals in, courtesy of the well equipped kitchen and the abundance of awesome ingredients available nearby. There is also a lovely rooftop deck where we enjoyed the sunsets with a glass of wine ( all to ourselves!). When we arrived we we greeted by Paul who showed us the ropes and helped carry my wife's heavy suitcase up the spiral staircase. Since this was the first leg of an 18 day trip, we packed way more stuff than we actually needed, and if we had it to do over again we would take less luggage, especially if you are planning to use the metro, which by the way goes right to the airport! I have a couple of photos showing the view out the windows and a nice exterior view of the building, but I can't see a way to add them to this review. All in all, wonderful!

Fabulous apartment in perfect location.

Beautiful apartment, suitable for two people. El Born is a great neighborhood with many bars, restaurants and shops. Two short blocks to train. Much to do all around. The only negative is the winding narrow staircase, especially if going up to fourth floor apartment. Rough going with luggage or after a long day of sightseeing. Note, this apartment doesn't have it's own balcony - but just one more short flight up to roof terrace that is lovely and easily accessible. Would definitely stay here again when in Barcelona.
