TrĂšs courte promenade au village / tĂ©lĂ©cabine!Ceci est une trĂšs belle location de vacances qui a Ă©tĂ© mis Ă  jour et a un classement 4 Ă©toiles! Les nouvelles caractĂ©ristiques comprennent: un tapis neuf, un linolĂ©um "ressemblant Ă  un carrelage" dans les allĂ©es et la cuisine et tous les nouveaux meubles. Ce loft comprend 1 chambre et 2 salles de bain complĂštes, une cuisine complĂšte, un balcon, un placard extĂ©rieur extĂ©rieur avec jouets pour la neige, un four micro-ondes, une cheminĂ©e Ă  gaz, 3 tĂ©lĂ©viseurs (tous Ă©crans plats), 2 lecteurs DVD (un dans le salon et dans la chambre), bibliothĂšque de DVD, barbecue, chaĂźne stĂ©rĂ©o avec lecteur de CD, 3 tĂ©lĂ©phones et accĂšs Internet haut dĂ©bit sans fil gratuit. Cette unitĂ© a une vue magnifique sur les montagnes Sherwin et le village de Mammoth. Le salon a un canapĂ©-lit queen-size, la chambre Ă  coucher a 2 lits simples et la mezzanine a un lit California King size (tous les lits ont une literie neuve). Il y a quelques marches pour atteindre cette unitĂ© et il y a 2 niveaux Ă  l'intĂ©rieur. Le niveau d’entrĂ©e comprend le salon, la cuisine, la salle Ă  manger, une chambre et une salle de bain. Great place to stay!

Access to the village gondola was very good, and two parking space permits made for much easier planning because we were two groups coming from different places in separate cars, and arriving/leaving on slightly different timeframes. Check in and out was very easy.

Great place!

Super easy check in and out! Place was clean and loved having drinks/ coffee on the balcony. Great location next to the village and kitchen was perfect! The only suggestion would be a new mattress on the pullout couch but other than that, the place was amazing!

Great spot close to the Village

A group of coworkers and I stayed at this property for a post-busy season ski getaway. The proximity to the Village was perfect - easy access to the Gondola and the shuttle to Main Lodge. The property itself was clean and as expected. This is the perfect spot for a Mammoth trip, I would definitely stay here again.

Mammoth Gran Fondo

Best drive up property within walking distance of the village. Best property for riding (coasting) up to the gran fondo starting line. Extra appreciation for the owner's tie to the fire department (One guest is a fire captain in Reno).

Great for family Mammoth skiing

The condo was great for our family of 4. It was spacious and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The only think I would change is the bathrooms. They need updated. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Good apartment with amenities. It could have had some more cleaning material like a kitchen countertop degreaser like 409 to help guests keep the place clean. Besides that everything was enjoyable!

the place is really nice but the loft bed is terrible. I basically slept in a huge hole in the bed and had to throw my leg over to get out of bed. If not for the old bed i would give this place 5 stars

A nice place, almost like ski in/out.

The village ski back trail is accessible off the corner of the rear parking lot about 50yd before the bridge. It was easy to walk there, ski to the bridge and walk to the town lift. Coming home was a long, slow downhill on the ski back trail behind Roller Coaster. (That trail gets soggy and slower in the late season, lots of polling, and probably never good for snowboarders, but it was still in good shape mid March this year.) The outside storage room was full of shtuff. No room for guest storage.

Loved the unit BUT WORST BED EVER :(

We had such a wonderful time in that unit. We would have already re-booked for spring and years to come however the mattress was so unbelievably terrible we didn’t sleep at all :( If they replaced the shockingly horrible Mattress you could count on us returning multiple times a year. Aside from that issue, we really did love being in that space and the owners did such a beautiful job with the Decor and overal ambience

Summer Surprise

The apartment was clean and contemporary. Like others mentioned, the twin beds were as hard as rocks. The two lazy boys were also uncomfortable as it was a fight to recline and stay relined. We had temps in the 80's and NO AC so we bought the last two fans we could find in town just to get some air, especially at night in the upstairs bedroom. I called the manager's office who told me the pool was heated only to find out it was not and the spa was not working either. I think the signage throughout the apartment with all the listed fines was a bit excessive. That could be added to the tablet which was a nice feature. Overall I think this would be a great place for the winter but for this hot summer trip we had a few disappointments.

Poor management, bad experience!!!

We went to Mammoth for my daughters birthday, and booked this property specifically because it had a hot tub in the listing, even a photo included in the photo gallery. It's a tradition to take my daughter skiing for the day and then soak in a hot tub. Well to our surprise when we went down to the pool area in our bathing suits that the hot tub and pool are under construction, and that was never disclosed to us in our lengthy check-in instructions. And not sure why they didn't put it in the listing either. And when brought to the attention of property management, they handled it very poorly, with no sympathy, relying on the "small print" in our rental agreement. Also, their was a dead cockroach under one of the beds, the coffee pot(s) didn't work, the tea kettle was so rusted out it fell apart when moving it off the stove, their was no basic condiments (cooking oil, butter, etc), the couch was very sloppy and uncomfortable, the linens were very chinsy and low end, and the list of "fines" for leaving the lights on, or not starting the dishwasher, or not locking a window were very penny anti for someone who just paid a thousand dollars for a couple nights stay. Also, the ski locker was so crammed with junk, we couldn't even put one pair of skis in there, not sure why they even left the ski locker key out for us to use. Definitely wouldn't stay here again just based on the pickiness and pettiness of the property management.

Lovely place and location

Proximity to the village is always a plus, and the spot was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the the over-fireplace tv was tilted down for better viewing!

Mammoth

I would like to say this property is very nice. The kitchen looked as if it had just been remodeled, as well as being very clean. Plenty of room for my family of five adults. The location was next to the Village which made it very convenient to get to the slopes. As for parking, there was plenty of room even with the huge amount of snow that fell. Arlene worked tirelessly, hour after hour, to make sure the cars could get out.

Megan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a strong background in hospitality management, sales, and marketing. In addition to operating a vacation rental company, Megan often advises other resort management companies as a consultant. Her husband Jason also holds a Bachelor's degree from UCSB in Film and Media Studies and has a background in real estate finance and transactions.
