Lake Vibes

Overall what a great place. There are some things that need to be updated like the lights throughout. They are very dim and the boat house lights didn't work, which was a bummer for no fishing at night. Make sure to pack hand towels. We had a visitor in the early morning ( a raccoon ). Roy which i believe is the owner of the house is top notch. Thank you for your help Roy. We will be staying again!

House is as pictured and very comfortable. Love the lake views. Decking and dock should probably be replaced.

Excellent location!

We love "The View". We stayed here a few years ago and loved it, but it had been a little outdated. We were pleasantly surprised when we returned that the place had received a facelift. The beds are comfy, the place is clean and the family room is large and opened. The sunroom is an added bonus. We came with dogs, and the yard was just perfect for them - lots of room to run. It was very nice having the covered dock for our boat. No need to worry when it rains. There are only two things I would recommend to make it better. One, add lights at the dock. They might already be there, but label the switch so we can find them. Two, and this is a big one, buy a non-stick skillet. The skillet there was awful. It's impossible to make pancakes as they stick to the surface. Otherwise, the cook ware has been increased since we stayed - very nice otherwise.

Great Lake retreat

The house is situated on a cove with a great view and a lot of space for dogs to run around! Owner left a welcome gift for the house and the dogs we brought with us. Great for families or friend groups.

Clean and comfortable

Beautiful views and great memories had by our family. The inside of the house has been fully renovated with modern updates. It is clean and spacious. The only concern we had was the condition of the decking around the house and dock (old and splintering). Made sure little ones had shoes on whenever outside. The kitchen was well appointed and clean. Big comfy couches for everyone to relax on after a day on the lake. We would stay here again.

Great view of the lake

The views at this property are wonderful. The house was very clean with lots of space to move around. The access to the lake is a real plus. We enjoyed watching the blue heron, rabbits and geese roam the property. We would stay again.

Amazing views!

Lovely, quiet spot with water views at every turn. The house is very comfortable, lots of space, comfortable seating, good wifi. The property is spectacular, fantastic views, lovely yard, gazebo and fire pit. Very private and serene. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. Be sure to bring toiletries. There is lots of wood for the fire pit and the owners thoughtfully provided the ingredients for s'mores. Access is around the other side of the house from the driveway and it's very dark at night. I had some difficulty checking in, but the owner is extremely responsive and helpful. The property is several miles from shops, restaurants, wineries and the state park. We enjoyed the Lake Anna area and did some nice hiking at the state park. Very nice fall getaway!

Nice Little Getaway

This has been one of my favorite properties to stay at when enjoying the lake views at Lake Anna. The house is nice and cozy for a small group and is always prepared for our visit. There are many supplies available, and the Food Lion or Dollar General is just a short drive away. The lake views are awesome, and there is so much space for people to spread out around the property if people want to do their own thing. The driveway is spacious so multiple vehicles can easily fit. The neighborhood is also nice, and the neighbors are friendly. This peoperty is highly recommended and is definately one of my go-tos when visiting Lake Anna!

The Boss

I loved the property and the view. We really enjoyed it with my family! The only thing is that i didnt like the fact that the bedroom and bathroom doors can't lock. The yard is so spacious and lovely to hang out and enjoy the scenery and making campfire at night was epic! I plan on coming back again.
