Completed in January 2025, this spacious rental combines both units of this charming duplex, offering the perfect blend of privacy and togetherness. Nice home for family vacation

The pool area is one of the best parts of the house! Also very good kitchen supplies which makes it easy to cook dinner at home. We loved sitting outside to eat. We recommend this house!

2nd Time and Island Vacations Properties great. House needs work

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time renting this house through island vacation properties. The property company is great but the house does need some updates. The patio furniture couch is not comfortable. Definitely need a new air conditioner that can get below 80° during the day and night. The patio has an air conditioning vent but you have to keep the door closed because it's so hot. The dishwasher needs to be replaced. The back door you have to slam to get closed every time and does not lock. We definitely love the property and the pool area. If they would make these upgrades we would definitely rent this house again but we will go through island vacation properties for another property if there is a good one available. Great pet friendly company and home.

Disappointed or a Nightmare

Started out with an afternoon rain storm an unable to get in the rental due to keys or key pad not working. After already being told on the phone prior tenant had complained about key pad not working. Had to wait 30 plus minutes in the rain with kids and dogs for Ken to come let us in. Found smelly refrigerator with leftover food. Previous tenant’s trash hidden in closet also left unpleasant order in the apartment. Glass sliding door had no handle only pieces where it popped off in the past. Had to use GREAT force to open the sliding doors. We broke two more handles trying to get in and out of doors during our stay. Rollers and track need to be replaced. Pool and pool area were filthy. Trashy and overgrown. Grill missing a wheel and also dirty. Spilled wet Charcoal, sand and trash left behind from previous tenant. Jacuzzi tub did not work as well as hot tub and pool filter. Refrigerator drain clogged and leaked in floor causing me to slip and fall injuring my knee. Found used adult disposable diaper in the night stand. Half our party left a week early due to such a let down. I was refunded a small amount but still feel this was the worst I have seen on Anna Maria Island. My much needed vacation was ruined and I am still limping from the slip and fall. Don’t ruin you vacation with this place!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So to start with, the rental was clean on arrival. However within 24 hours of being there we started noticing ants in random places. Most were located in the kitchen, but they were spotted in bedrooms and bathrooms as well. On our last night there one of the guests was bitten 4 times while sleeping in the bed. I sent a maintenance requests notifying them of the ants on Sunday I believe, never received any correspondence back about that issue at all. Another issue we had was the hot tub. We received no information on the home at all, so when we found a remote that didn’t work the hot tub I sent a request for information on how to work it. I then found the Maitenence request form and sent that in since the remote didn’t work. Either the pool guy or vacation rental sent someone out Monday who insinuated we dropped the remote in the pool. This was completely untrue considering it never worked when we got there. I sent a message about it an hour after check in. Hot tub is was not fixed until Thursday so we didn’t even get to enjoy it.Last of all, and probably the worst thing so far was the 150$ parking ticket we received for parking in our own yard. There were no signs on the road or in our yard stating we couldn’t park there and the vacation rental company gave us no heads up on it. When we called to ask why that happened, the rental company basically said sorry that happened, can’t help you but we’ll take 150$ off your next rental with us. No thank, if anything, off THIS rental Based on all of this information, it’s not that the house was bad. I feel like it was the poor customer service and correspondence of the vacation rental company. All of this could have been easily and quickly dealt with, but was not. If you rent this home, beware the ants, don’t expect the hot tub to be working, and do not for any reason park within 20 feet of the road unless you want to go home with a 150$
