With peaceful privacy, a beautiful forest setting, and a place where you can truly relax. It's all here at Bear Ridge Cabin!
Beautifully decorated to enhance the natural setting of its surroundings, this attractive log cabin has a rustic theme, yet is very comfortable and attractively furnished and designed. All on one floor, the two bedrooms are both pleasantly furnished and decorated. The beautifully planned newly remodeled bathroom features a full jetted tub, as well as a lovely large shower.

The setting here is both unique and beyond the ordinary! To enhance your stay, a large private hot tub overlooking the forest awaits outside.

Huge front and back porches and a picnic area with a gas grill invite the guest to fully enjoy the ideal locations for relaxation, creating a breathtaking outdoor setting.

Great weekend escape

We spent a weekend in this cozy cabin and enjoyed all that it has to offer. We soaked in the hot tub, sat snuggled by the fire and even enjoyed playing some of the games.

We arrived late and there was only 1 outside light. It made it uncomforting not being able to see our surroundings, especially when you're in the middle of the woods. The inside of the house looked like they bombed for bugs and didn't come back and clean. We had to vacuum at 11pm because there were so many bugs. On the bed side tables in the room my kids were staying in there were mouse droppings and in the living room it looked like someone's nails on the table. There was also a dead mouse by the oven that looked like it had been there for a couple of weeks, and there was food left on the utensils that were on the counter. They did give us our cleaning deposit back and offered to come clean when we were there (we said no because we had already cleaned), but for the money we spent on the stay we were disappointed. I wish they would have offered more than just the cleaning fee for a refund.

Wonderful place

We had a great stay here with plenty of room and everything we needed. The hot tub was a plus!! Feels very isolated while not being too far from town. Felt cozy but was so spacious too.

Cabin getaway

An ideal log cabin home, secluded along a hillside. 2 bdrm 1 bath perfect for my husband and I and our dog. Close to picturesque Leavenworth. We had fun in the snow. Would definitely go back!

Beautifully quiet

Property was as advertised and in a stunning location. Nighttime hot tubbing allowed for incredible star gazing. We did lose power but the property manager responded quickly and upgraded us to another location for the remainder our stay. Both properties were amazing.

Cozy cabin

The seclusion and cozy feel of this cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation rental. This was our first visit to explore the Leavenworth area and wanted a place to recharge over Spring break. Our teenagers slept the way teens do, and my husband and I enjoyed the quiet mornings with the fire crackling in the background while we had our coffee and read our books. Check in and check out was easy, the kitchen was well stocked, and we loved being able to stargaze while in the hot tub. We just think log cabins are cool and this cabin was no exception.

Review of recent stay

Very clean. Great location. Easy to get to and from Leavenworth. Firewood was plentiful. Overall enjoyed our time, would stay here again. Pros: wood stove electric heat. Wi Fi. Access to streaming apps. Large soaking tub. Fully stocked kitchen pantry cookware. Extra bedding. Lots of storage. Great location.Opportunities for Improvement: We were able to use Netflix in the morning, but not the in evening. The account wanted us to log in, which was strange since we hadn't logged out of any accounts, per the directions. The front door has a large draft. There is a pillow to block the draft at the foot of the door. But this does not address the gap on the side. The hot water tank ran out of hot water before the large soaking tub was full. It was a warmish bath and not relaxing.

Needs some work

Overall, it was a good stay. 2 things need some work. First the Hot water had a Sulphur smell that is very off putting. This can probably be fixed with some work on the hot water heater (just the hot water had the smell). Secondly, the hot tub was not up to temperature. We had to fill it twice to keep the heat cycle working. This also raises concerns of how often the water is being checked for the proper chemical levels. We still had a relaxing time and that is what we wanted.

Winter wonderland

Upon arrival we were unable to get up the driveway, even though we had a full size truck with 4 wheel drive, there was a fresh foot of snow that fell right before we got there. We were able to get in contact with someone and they were there in about 20 minutes to plow the driveway. I was disappointed the hot tub was broken, but they did let is know that ahead of time so it wasn't a surprise when I got there. They do have a nice big bathtub, but the water didn't stay hot long enough to fill the tub. I did improvise and boiledwaterin every big pot they had there and made due. We were excited to be away for my 40th birthday and dogs had a blast running around in the snow.

Great cabin with ice in the not-so-hot tub

We really enjoyed this mountain cabin which is conveniently located midway between Leavenworth and Plain. Stayed in the winter so had picturesque snowy landscape which our Husky loved. We kept warm with the wood stove. Had all the conveniences one would need. We were disappointed to discover upon our arrival that the hot tub - which was a hard requirement for our choice of accommodations particularly for recovery for my wife's recent knee replacement - was frozen nearly solid. Upon expressing our discontent to the management company, they provided a refund of a small portion of the rental. They indicated we should have been notified via email the hot tub wasn't working. I received every other email and text they sent, but, alas, no such notice. In a brief moment of hope, we discovered the bathtub was equipped with water jets. However, that hope was dashed when we found the jets were not working. Fortunately, we had procured copious amounts of wine from Plain Cellars, so we set about to toasting our anniversary and drowning our tub sorrows. I would definitely recommend this cabin once the hot tub is fixed. And, there is an interesting cabin on a nearby ridge that makes for great speculation and conjecture should you be the type that could use conversational inspiration.

Enjoyable Accommodations

My husband and I stayed here to enjoy Leavenworth and the snowy scenery for my birthday. The cabin was fully furnished, with a full kitchen and a ton of activity options from wii, xbox360, free wifi, sleds and boardgames galore. We would definitely stay here again. Areas of improvement: the check out process that is sent to you from the management company has conflicting info with what is posted at the phyaical location. (Exe. - management says to strip the beds and start the washer, but the signs at the property say to call of towels etc. and to not launder things. The booking states pet friendly, but the signs on the property state it is not a pet friendly location, etc.) Clarifying these types of details would be beneficial for patrons. Important to know: the booking does not mention that if you are staying in winter, 4WD is needed to climb the icey steep driveway that is immediately off of the highway. If you are driving a standard sadan, there is no way to get up the steep drive to parking. A heads up to patrons would be beneficial, especially because the booking is non refundable and this could be a deal breaker for some.Overall, we would stay again. It was comfortable and we really enjoyed Leavenworth.

Rustic Cabin with modern amenities

The location was perfect. Near all of the hiking we wanted to do. The cabin had all that we needed and more as we spent more time in it than expected (due to a massive thunderstorm). Hot tub was a hit, and two porches to sip morning coffee. So ideal for a weekend getaway,

Clean and convenient

Clean and cozy cabin. Hot tub worked great. We spent time in Leavenworth and at Lake Wenatchee, this cabin is in between both. Checkout process was easy.

Great place!

This place is so cute! We were a little bummed the hot tub didn’t work as that was a huge part of our vrbo search. But owner made it right very quickly and refunded hot tub fee. There are games, a wii and I think an Xbox as well. We loved that it was between plain and Leavenworth. Had all the things, hair dryer, toaster, blender, and even a Crock pot!

Quiet cabin close to Leavenworth

Nice little cabin with plenty of space for small family. Loved having a couple games to play. Close enough to Leavenworth and lake Wenatchee but some windy roads. Master bedroom could use a new softer mattress and it was a little overgrown around the house when trying to let our dog out for bathroom. Otherwise it was nice and private hot tub a plus. Turn off the lights at night and see plenty of stars!!

Lovely Christmas getaway

Perfect getaway to spend the holidays. The cabin is very isolated, which was great for us as we were looking for peace and calm. We were greatly surprised to find holidays decorations in the cabin when we arrived, which was a lovely attention. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other guests.

Winter stays

The cabin is cute and roomy, with all the things we needed for our stay. The electric heat was a nice backup to the woodstove so you don't wake up to a cold cabin. Hot tub worked well and was enjoyable in the snow. The decorated Christmas tree was a nice touch for the holidays. For those planning to stay during any significant snow, you will need more than just a standard 4WD to get up the steep and long driveway. Our 4WD SUV (with new snow tires) had no issues with the snowy pass or the winter storm that hit the day we left, but could not get up to the cabin. Walking from near the bottom of the drive each time we left diminished the enjoyment we had at the cabin.
