Decent sized room. Seemed a little neglected perhapsâŠdishes were a little sticky. Bedding was old and very used. A couple lights did not work at all. Ac unit in living room did not work at all. Overall the place was pretty clean and very comfortable with a great view.
We moved from Landmark to Baywatch in North Myrtle. Elliot staff was helpful and made the transition a breeze. The new location was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Canât say enough good stuff about the staff and how supportive they are.
Overall it was just as the listing showed. I knew for the price I couldnât expect much. We didnât spend much time in the room. It could use better pillows and comforters. But it was as good as I expected it to be. It was nice that it was so close to the elevators. Outdoor pools and spa were totally worth it!
It is in a great location however the resort is a little bit rundown. Many of the indoor hot tubs were closed for maintenance and unmarked for the first couple days where people could fall into an unprotected 3.5-ft concrete hole. Only issue with it is I have a wild 2 year old.
The room was nice but the beds were the most uncomfortable I have slept in in many years. The owners had great communication and we were happy with our stay overall.
My stay was good remote to tv didnt work in living room first toilet broke called for towels and blankets and work order on toilet got new quilts but toilet was not fixed. Enjoyed location except not having green braclet to use services provided by hotel.
Okay all around. The unit was an older model. No ventilation in the corridors and elevator. The inside pools were great other than it being like a sauna if you werenât in the pool. Staff was very friendly. Personally, I wouldnât choose this location in the future.
This place was disturbing, dirty, smell nasty mold. The beds was dirty and has mold and a lot of stains on them. The floor and couch was dirty . The people at the front desk was extremely rude, the workers we saw in the hallway was rude and not helpful at all. Theirs blood on the table outside on the balcony.
I have never been to South Carolina before and this right here would make me never come back and use your facilities.
You have to park across the street in a park Aid, itâs a lot of walking especially for the Disabled. The entire resort is confusing and management and employees were rude and acted like you inconvenience them if you have questions. The property had No Solicitors, yet the Shriners were all over the resort begging for money and selling stuff. There was so many of them you couldnât enjoy the resort. We will never stay there again! We checked out and moved to another resort which has been 100% enjoyable!! The staff are nice and easy access to the pools unlike Landmark Resorts.
The property overall has an awesome location; right on the beach, plenty of parking and its central to the sites. The room was dirty and dated. The carpet should never be in beach properties. The kitchen stone countertop was cracked and the repair was not leveled. The staff on the property would not let us use any of the facilties because we were VRBO and not there for the time share. We were not even allowed to purchase drinks or use the restaurant. Elliot rentals, management company, who we rented from was easy and co-operative. Overall, we paid for an over priced room on the beach.
Not clean! Not near food/shopping! Worst of all, where the listing says "no access to", i have always known that to mean no direct access from your room location.In this case it meant that you cannot buy anything from the onsite restaurants, cannot go to the waterside area, cannot get snacks or drinks from the pool area! You are literally treated like a complete outcast! Whats worse is that i could have stayed cheaper renting through the resort directly AND enjoyed the amenities! Never again!!!
The Landmark Resort amenities were amazing and the location was amazing. We loved all the pools and hottubs and oceanfront location.
The management company that runs this room has about 6 general emails that they send to everyone, but no specific instructions on your location, making it really confusing for check in and check out. The room had many broken furniture items and a leaking tap. When we told the managers about the issues they sent a repairman in-but without any warning about time- he walked in twice while our toddler was napping, a bit creepy to have a grown man enter your room without warning. It's also very basic. No scissors, oven mitts, baking trays, dish brushes, garbage bags, dish soap, dish rags, tea towels, etc...
We were also given the wrong number of pool bands for our party. It was a frustrating back and forth and took until our 3rd day of our 5 day stay to obtain. We were told that if we had arrived before the time, then the office would have been open and we would have gotten the right number of bands. Apparently registering with the correct amount of guests doesn't work.
All this to say-i think youd have a much more smooth vacation if you just register with the resort for your stay.
The management company was nice and easy to work with. However the owners of the condo need to go stay there to see if it is up to their standards. The beds, furnature, and decor were outdated and uncomfortable. We had a big group and utilized every bed. The Murphy bed was comfortable but the headboard was broken. The pull out couch had a 1 inch mattress. We actually ended up going out and buying an air mattress at Samâs club to use because one night on the pull out couch was unbearable. The bed frame to one of the beds was broken-the poles are sticking out the side-that was super fun to rack your leg into every time you walked by. The furnature is barely holding on. Maintanence came to fix the bed, all they did was push the poles through. The whole thing really needs replaced. The faucet broke in one of the bathrooms and would not turn off. Maintanence came and replaced the entire faucet but then the water would not turn on. We just left it alone and didnât use that sink. They were suppose to bring us toppers for the mattresses but those never arrived. The room smelled musty and often times I could smell marijuana probably coming from adjacent rooms. The resort itself was pretty dirty, my 10 year old ended up with a UTI Iâm assuming from the pools.
The management company like I said was easy to work with but I wouldnât stay at that particular location again or that room again.
There is black mold in the bathroom area, red stain in carpet in the living room area also the comforters were not clean looked to have body fluids on them the bed has something that looked to be a sock wrapped around the bottom of the bed to cover the metal on the bed. Called and complained but was told the manager for that location was gone but they would report the issues. You have to check in at a off site location.
