This was perfect location to be beach front. Multiple trips to condo and back to beach. We lived in swimsuits while there. Easy access to food and shopping just across the street. We LOVED the location!
Really enjoyed the condo! The location was perfect with so much to do close by. The beautiful beach was just steps away. I spent every evening sitting on the balcony watching the sunset.
It was perfect!!
I have rented condos on Madeira Beach for quite a few years. The view from any Gulf facing condos provides a million dollar view, as did this particular Sandy Shores condo. Although sadly, this condo was in the worst shape as any I have rented. However, it could be a lovely condo, but as it is I would not use it again.
The place is nice but who ever is cleaning doing bad job. Small flies all over lot things still dirty . We spent the first day cleaning . Had to buy bug spray to get rid flies ended up using two cans bug spray . Also had to go buy more paper towel to clean . All surfaces dirty kitchen lit grease build up on counters and cabinets
The unit was old and grungy. There were fruit flies all over the unit and we had to go get something ourselves to help with the infestation. We called the office and they said they would send someone but nobody came. We tried to contact the host and he never responded. We were really looking forward to the weekend but it fell short. The only thing that it had going was the view and location.
Disappointed in the outdated non cleanliness of Condo.
Very poor, out dated not comfortable condo. Was not worth 1000.00 for 3 nights. Impression, owner just wants the $$ does not care about the condition of his/her property.
Not happy with kitchen foset , the furniture was nasty, out side balcony was so bad all the chairs were women out and broke, the floor was very nasty,I was supposed to have gotten 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Thatâs in my paper work , I have it! For the money we paid not good at all. I will never go there again!!
I made the reservation as usual, received 3 confirmation emails, 1 from vrbo and 2 from the property. This was supposed to be a Valentines' weekend escape with my wife and kids, right! When we arrived at the property, the condo was under construction. This was on a Friday afternoon, February 14th. I called the property manager, and she said she did not collect any money and had notified vrbo of the cancellation; I never received a cancellation. I called vrbo and after 3 phone calls, 3 or 4 different agents, and 1.5 hrs on the phone, they said the property manager told them they had advised me of the cancellation. *someone is lying here*, and at this point it was late afternoon without a place to stay. After a lot of back and forth, Vrbo offered 2 nights at their expense at a nearby place for the inconvenience, and I accepted; too good to be true. They booked a hotel at Expedia using my information and someone's credit card, not mine. When we checked in, I had to present a card for incidentals and I ended up paying for the whole thing. Expedia told the hotel I had to pay and claim the amount to vrbo.More phone calls the following day, and the vrbo rep told me I should be able to pay for this as they refunded the original reservation. This new reservation came out at 700 over the previous one. Then they told me to submit the invoice for them to transfer to another department for their evaluation.Very dishonest people handling customers' dissatisfaction. Ruined weekend!
This property is rundown
Dirty and many broken features
Ie wardrobe doors hanging off
Curtain pole hanging of the wall
Ceiling tiles falling down
Cracked and broken tiles in the bathroom
Iâm not a picky person but so disappointed with this accommodation
Key code lock didnât work for condo upon arriving, so manager gave us a key and said would replace lock next day, he never came back. One beach chair, had to go buy a couple. Dishwasher did not work, manager said it was just replaced, not true, never came to fix it. Did not have a sink stopper for sink to clean dishes. No dust pan for broom. Outside grills did not work.
A little hospitality on providing beach chairs for condo would be nice!
All floors in the unit were cracked and chipped and dirty. Both toilets had to be repaired during a 2 night stay. Neither was fixed 100%. The outside shower when coming in from the beach was broken twice. One burner on the stove was totally rusted out.
The location of this condo is amazing!! Right on the beach, balcony overlooking the pool. Parking spot for this unit is under the condos in the shade so thatâs a plus for loading and unloading. A couple things i definitely recommend, a thorough cleaning, you can tell the unit hasnât been deep cleaned in a while. It definitely needs one. There is 4 total towels in the unit it definitely needs more along with some sort of bathroom accessories ( rug, toothbrush holders etc) overall location is great being walking distance to restaurants and bars but the place definitely needs to be ran through, stocked and cleaned.
Great view but.... the apartment was outdated and in need of repairs. The beds were all very uncomfortable. Very few outlets available for use so if staying bring a electrical outlet strip. Complicated access to get into and out of the pool area, elevator and room. The property management answered all questions quickly and gave us early access. I would recommend the place for a short beach side stay as the location was amazing and you can't ask for more with the view
We stayed her with our daughter and 3 of her friends (ages 15-16). Being across from Johns Pass made it the perfect location along with being on the beach of course! The beach was beautiful and clean. We got to see dolphins almost daily and had a manatee swim by. The condo was nice but dated. Like someone else mentioned the blinds were lacking and we had to tape some paper bags to keep light of the master and peepers from looking in the girls room. The master bed was very, very comfortable. The balcony was perfect for eating breakfast in the AM or having a few drinks at night. There are some beach supplies in the condo (we also found a thrift shop where we picked up a few things). The pool area was perfect when we were done with the beach or wanted a late night swim. There are grills at the pool area for use. We would go back this year if we had vacation time left đ
