Los Lagos de Santa Maria Golf is perched on the rising land overlooking the golf course with sea views over the Mediterranean which form the backdrop to this idyllic setting. It is located in the exclusive district of Elviria. It is 30 mins from Malaga airport and 20 mins from the millionaire’s paradise port of Puerto Banus, popular for its restaurants and high life. In addition to Santa Maria golf course there are several other renowned golf courses nearby. Close to beaches and the picturesque port of Cabopino. For families there are many attractions including: Tivoli World, Aqualand, Zoo, cable car. There are tennis courts and bowling in the complex.
Elviria La Romana beach is approximately 5 minutes away by car and is one of the best on the coast. During the Summer months there is jet skiing and water skiing along with fun boats for the kids.
And for the adults there is Nikki Beach behind the 5* Don Carlos resort boasting it's infamous beach parties each week through the summer.

The Costa Del Sol / Malaga Region: The Costa del Sol is the quickest route to the sun. The best climate in Europe and great beaches that are more accessible thanks to improving infrastructure. There is a rich mixture of cultural & historic sites for those that want to explore along the coastline. For those that want to wine & dine after a hard days sunbathing then there are countless top quality restaurants, trendy bars and discos. For those with families there are many opportunities to try different water and land sporting activities as well as spending a relaxing day on one of the many beaches on the Costa del Sol. You really do have an opportunity to have a wonderful holiday whether it's peaceful and relaxing, or sporty and hectic you will find what you are looking for on the Costa del Sol.

Marbella / Elviria Area: Elviria is an established part of Marbella and only 30 minutes from Malaga airport. The area has a mixture of apartments, villa's and large townhouses. Los Lagos de Santa Maria apartments are a 15 minute walk to two commercial centres, where there is a good selection of fine restaurants, bars and shops including two Supermarkets - one open late at night and Sundays.

The Elviria La Romana beach is approximately 5 minutes by car or 25 min walk.

If you fancy some ten pin bowling or some shopping in fashionable shops and boutiques try La Canada (pronounced Canyada) a huge shopping centre only a 10 minutes from Los Lagos in the Marbella direction. A further 5 - 10 minutes further on and you arrive at the millionaires hang-out in beautiful Puerto Banus for even more great shops, restaurants and fabulous yachts in the port.
The Elviria area is a golfers paradise with many fine courses located nearby. Apart from the magnificent 18 hole Santa Maria course.

How to get there: Approximately 30 minutes by car from Malaga Airport. Taxis are also widely available at the airport.

Take the AP7/E15 toll road towards Cadiz on leaving the airport (keep right for slip road on). Leave the toll road at the Calahonda exit and take the A7/N340 coast road in the direction of Marbella. Elviria / Santa Maria exit is at the 192 km marker and is the exit after Cabopino and then Las Chapas.
Nearby Landmarks: Look out for the tall Don Carlos hotel on the horizon off to the left just after the Las Chapas exit (at night the sign is lit in large blue letters). On seeing this hotel you are only half a mile to the turning

Beautiful apartment in a great location

We found the property very easily. It was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. All furniture and fittings were excellent and I would highly recommend.

Relaxing vacation

We had a very relaxed one week vacation in the appartment. The appartment itself is just as shown on the pictures and very well equipped (i.e. very new and clean Kitchen with all utelities that you need). There are several community pools that you can make use of. The apartment is closely located to the beach and restaurants/supermarkets (no more than 5min drive by car). Two minor critic points are : 1) the bed in the master bedroom is only queensize and has quite hard/firm matress 2) in the sorrounding area there is a sewage plant, on some days when the wind turns you can smell it on the balcony. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and also the communication with Joe worked great and was always very reactive and helpful.

Très bon séjour à Marbella

L’appartement est superbe et le complexe est beau et bien entretenu. Il y a plusieurs piscines très propres et la plus grande est surveillée. Très bon séjour et très bonne communication avec le propriétaire. Je recommande.

Lovely apartment a great location.

Joe and Gerry are welcoming hosts to this lovely apartment in a great location for anything that you may wish to do whilst visiting this area of the Costa Del Sol (golf, beach, bars, restaurants and staying in to relax). The hosts communicated with us right away, informing us on all things need to know about the apartment and helping us with any questions we had such as restaurant recommendations and allowing us to check-in slightly earlier. The apartment is as show online and pools are even better in person, the pool area is private, quiet and relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped, patio areas are great to both eat and sunbathe, and beds comfortable. I would highly recommend this stay. I would also recommend renting a car for your stay if you do wish to venture out to the surrounding towns of Marbella, Puerto Banus and Ronda like we did as taxis occasionally did not arrive and were somewhat expensive.

Beautiful apartment!

This apartment may just be one of the loveliest places my partner and I have stayed in, the photos don't do it justice. Joe and Gerry are wonderful hosts, communication was great and they provided all information we needed regarding the apartment during our stay. The apartment is impeccably clean and spacious. There are two balconies with great views where we enjoyed breakfast most mornings. The pools are lovely and weren't too busy (we visited beginning of September). It's within easy reach of local restaurants and shops. We walked some evenings into Elviria to dinner. Thank you Joe and Gerry for a wonderful stay. We'd highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in the local area. We're already looking forward to our next stay here!

Lovely flat

The flat is situated in a beautiful complex with lots of flowers and several swimming pools which were never crowded. It is a huge, well equipped and modern flat. Thanks to Joe and Geraldine for the swift communication !

Fantastic Apartment

This apartment is amazing. It is everything the photos show and more . Joe and Gerry are fantastic, from phoning me after we made the initial booking to introduce themselves and all communication afterwards. Directions from Malaga to the apartment were easy to follow . Once we were at the apartment, it was everything we had hoped for and so clean . Everything you need is there. The bedrooms were a lovely size , plenty of wardrobe space with lots of hangers . The two outside terraces were fantastic with so much room and seating. I can’t recommend this apartment enough . We used the big pool on the complex and never had a problem with getting a sun lounger even though it was mid August. If you are looking for a fantastic space to relax then this apartment has it all . Thank you Joe and Gerry for the use of your wonderful apartment.

Wonderful property, gorgeous outlook, super hosts.

We've had another wonderful trip to Spain and enjoyed returning to Joe and Gerry's flat in Elviria. The apartment is well equipped, clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Joe and Gerry are helpful, keen to ensure that everything is okay and accommodating about arrival and leaving times. There is a super view from the front balcony and we ate lunch frequently on the back terrace. The flat is in a quiet area, but only a few minutes drive from the golf course, supermarkets and a multitude of restaurants and cafes.

Fabulous Apartment

The clean fresh aroma is the first thing you notice when you enter the apartment so obviously well attended prior to arrival. The apartment is beautifully and tastefully decorated with very good quality furnishings. There is absolutely everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Within a short drive of restaurants , bars and beach. Joe and Geraldine keep you well informed with directions and necessary information to make for a great stay. Many thanks Jim and Pat.

Unbeatable Comfort

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the fresh clean aroma. The apartment has absolutely everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Obviously good quality beds as they are really comfortable. Within easy reach of restaurants and beach. Anyone who rents this apartment will not be disappointed. Lovely fully equipped luxury appartment

We arrived a little bit early but that was no problem at all. We parked in the garage underneath the appartment and brought our stuff up and went out to buy some food. When we came back 1 hour later, we found ourselves a really lovely, neat, full equipped appartment. Everything we needed was present and the all the machines were perfectly easy to use. 1 patio has a very comfortable lounge set and a really nice view towards the sea. We often had our drinks and appetiser here and at the other patio, there are 2 nice long chairs and an outdoor dinner table, which is situated very handy next to the kitchen. Inside the bedrooms and bathrooms are situated in a way that no one is in ones space and the outside patios are very private too. The main swimming pool is a few minutes from the appartment up the hill, but there is also a smaller swimming pool just a few staps away. Several beach clubs are only 10 to 15 min. drive and for dinner, if you really would like to, you could walk down the hill to several restaurant (we preffered the car) Lidl and Mercadona are only 5 min away and we found an inside road, so you don’t have to enter the busy A7. We had a lovely time in this appartment of Joe and Geraldine, which btw are very lovely people. If we ever go back to the Costa de Sol, we would like to stay in their appartment again.

OUTSTANDING!!! Never in all of the fifteen years that I have been booking properties through holiday lettings sites have I encountered two more lovely, genuine, thoughtful people! The best apartment I have ever stayed in, fully equipped with everything you could ever need and the highest standard of cleanliness - a real home from home. Thank you so much Gerry and Joe for the privilege of hiring your apartment, furnished impeccably and ideally located to access all the best elements of the costa del sol. I cannot recommend highly enough this property and the care and attention we received in planning our holiday.

Fabulous apartment - just got better!

We have stayed in this apartment a number of times in recent years and completely agree with previous reviews regarding location, facilities, cleanliness & helpfulness of the owners Joe & Geraldine. I am writing this review now because on our recent visit we found that the apartment had been refurbished. A complete redecoration throughout and bedroom furniture replaced - in both bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses, another nice touch Joe & Geraldine. All you need is great weather (which we had) to complete another fabulous Spanish break You will not be disappointed if you stay here - we will be back Maz & Eddie

Great Apartment & So Peaceful

From the first contact to the last with Joe and Gerry the owners, our journey was made so easy. The attention to detail in the information pack was the best I have encountered, anywhere. Their assistance, prompt communication and financial transactions were great. The apartment is beautifully maintained and clearly Joe and Gerry's cleaner has a pride in their role in looking after the property too. Spacious, modern and with every amenity in the apartment you would wish for. We had a fabulous time from the base of a great location and visited, Nerja, Benalmadena, Lake Vinuela, Marbella, Cabopino & Gibraltar. the local Restaurants in Elviria boast a good selection and variation of options and we enjoyed dining in the ones we chose. All in all a great experience. Highly recommended.

Stunning Apartment Fabulous location

We have returned from a fabulous holiday at Joe and Gerry's beautiful apartment. The apartment is one of the loveliest we have stayed in. A real home from home with all of the amenities you could possibly wish for. A 5 minute drive down the hill and you have all the restaurant / supermarkets and amazing beach you could wish for. Lovely Apartment in Elviria

We had a great break at this lovely Apartment which is beautiful decorated, comfortable and clean. Balcony area was fabulous. There is everything that you need. Would recommend a hire car as it is a little bit out of the way. Joe & Geraldine are very friendly and helpful. The communication from start to finish was excellent and would definitely return.

Great Apartment & Great Location

Joe and Geraldine who own the property couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment is located on a golf complex in Elviria. A short drive takes you to the beach and both Marbella and Fuengirola are in easy reach. The apartment is very well appointed including air conditioning and Wifi with a parking space in the garage under. There is a small pool adjacent and a larger pool two minutes walk up the road. Both are well maintained with free sun loungers. The family really enjoyed trips to Fuengirola to the water park and Bio Parc as well as the tree tops adventure centre just down the road. My son and I played the nearby Par 3 golf course at Greenlife using clubs that Joe lent to us for our stay. We ate out at the local square in Elviria or in Marbella in the evenings - plenty of choice to suit all pockets. Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend the apartment to others.
