Everything was good with the exception of the bedroom t.v. Wasnât operational and the hot water was non existent. This is my biggest complaint, no hot water for a nice shower. Had to shower in cold water. I got used to it by the 3rd day
The location and view were excellent , our bed had a sunken frame, broken supports , something that should had been taken care of prior to our arrival, I contacted the owner which was very communicative there wasn't any action , I purchased some supports from Amazon to at least temporarily address the issue, the maintenance person sent had a toy tool box , when I had sent pictures of the problem . A relaxing stay turned into painful nightsI'm not one to complain but as I informed the owner that that was unacceptable, as patience as I am , my wife isn't , understandably so we are paying to stay. the room reek of smoke, half roll of toilet paper and no tissues , these are lesser things, but are basic ones. we were offered a discount that never came, I didn't ask for it, he offered and then ghosted me. it is what it is . our overall stay, well me made the best of it , but would not go back
The view was beautiful. The room was clean. The bed was not great it needs an upgrade. And our key cards didn't work at all. But other than that we are happy with our stay.
When arriving at the property, the check in process was fairly simple. We were given a door code and were able to access the unit at check in time. The room smelled horribly of mildew. We bought air fresheners and Lysol which helped minimally. The sheets on the king bed were clean but stained and worn out. They wouldnât stay on the bed through the night. Stains on the king comforter. Luckily we always bring our own blankets. The king bed sunk in the middle so it felt like you were climbing a hill all night. Sheets were provided for the Murphy bed but we used our own. There was a set of dirty sheets wadded up in the Murphy bed when we lowered it. The closet smelled terribly of mildew as well. We only had one pool band when we arrived so the host had the cleaning crew bring more bands on our second day. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The faucet in the bathroom had no water pressure. Only one outlet in the bathroom functioned appropriately. The kitchen had mold in the cabinets so we didnât end up using any of the dishes provided. We chose to use paper plates and plastic utensils. I wiped out the cabinets with Lysol wipes. The owner offered for the cleaning crew to come in, but I chose to do it myself as we were already settled in when I discovered the mold. The light on the oven doesnât work. The resort itself is crowded, long waits for the elevator, limited pool chairs, hallways not always clean. Best amenities are the view and the shower.
Everything was outdated. Nice size TV, great view. Thatâs it. Itâs smells so bad when you enter the room. I wasnât aware it was a hotel or I would have booked straight through because you get to use the hotel amenities (waterside) fresh towel or tissue. They should definitely disclose thatâs itâs Landmark Hotel. I will not book again nor recommend. Carpet dirty, couch dirty, bed was big and ok to sleep in. You have access to the pools and hot tubs, which they have several of. Hotel staff frown upon and seem to look down on you if you rent through third-party.
We have a very nice stay and enjoyed the indoor pools since it was raining while we were in town. Room was exactly as described and great views of the beach.
I had trouble with the code to open door. I called # on vrbo site i was given. She gave me access code to retrieve keys which i used for the 2 weeks. I didnt have parking pass or security cards. On the fourth day i received both. Security cards didnt work but i made do. Otherwise i really enjoyed Landmark and amenities. Unit was extremely nice. Would love to come back next yr if possible.
Very quiet and comfortable. Great location with super ocean view. Very relaxing listening to the surf without noise from neighboring units. Good value and is perfect for a couple.
Upon arrival the door was open. Getting into the condo was a challenge as the electronic code didnât work. We had to call the manager several times to gain entry and this took about an hour to get in. Once we gained entry, a key card was missing
No dish towels/dish rags
One roll of toilet paper
No extra garbage bags
The smallest container of dish soap Iâve ever seen. Nothing looks clean or smells clean specifically the top of the refrigerator and the microwave. The surface light for the microwave doesnât work, and the light over the sink doesnât work. The dishes and pots and pans do not look clean, there was hair of some of the dishes we pulled out of the cabinet. All of the kitchen utensils are very cheap/flimsy and look like they came from the dollar tree.
Thereâs a burn hole in the covering for the bed. There were no extra pillows for the Murphy bed, we couldnât find the blanket, and the Murphy bed mattress was not up to standards for human to use. The rug where the trundle bed pulls down is coming off the wall/floor.
The light in the bathroom is falling out of the ceiling, there is no water pressure in the bathroom sink. The shower curtain is moldy.
Nowhere to hang wet clothes/towels.
One of the chairs on the deck is ripped and cannot be sat upon.
The TV in the living room is in French subtitles.
A brown substance on the ceiling in the bedroom near the entrance to the kitchen
There a general musty smell in the bedroom.
And to top it all off, I went to the room
The property is definitely showing itâs age. I think itâs a little run down for the price. Hardly any water pressure in the bathroom sink. A stain in the ceiling that looks like mold. An extension cord that runs the length around the room to control the electronic lock on the door and tape saying do not unplug looks cheesy. The sliding glass door you need serious muscle to lift and slide open as it sticks and does not slide properly. Looking closer the door is crooked on the track with a half inch gap at the bottom. Upon arrival we could not find a bellman cart to unload our stuff. We spent the better half of an hour going floor by floor as people take them but never return them to the lobby and or keep them in their room making it next to impossible to find. The resort does not enforce return of the bellman carts for others to use Only 2 of the 4 floor elevators work half the time. Our room is next to one of the main floor elevators and it slams shut because the piston hinge needs either adjusted or replaced to prevent the door slamming. Iâve noticed this happens on a lot of the floor doors as maintenance of this building is lack luster at best. Pool is open till 11 pm so not only will you hear an abrupt slam of a door at 11-to 12 pm that jostles you out of your sleep but expect to hear loud kids yelling as well as adults who have no concern for others and quiet time. I could go on but needless to say I wonât be staying here again.
