Beau chalet côtier orienté plein sud avec de superbes vues panoramiques sur la mer. À quelques minutes à pied des plages. Nous sommes à 1,6 km du paisible village de Down Thomas, à 1,6 km de Staddon Heights, du parcours de golf à proximité et à 8 km du centre de Plymouth avec Hoe, Barbican, théâtre, cinémas et magasins. Wembury, une région d'une beauté naturelle exceptionnelle, se trouve à 8 km. Bovisand est parfait pour les couples ou les vacances en famille, en parcourant les sentiers côtiers, en explorant les plages voisines, en surfant, en plongeant, en faisant de la plongée avec tuba ou tout simplement en vous relaxant sur l'une des terrasses en profitant du soleil.

Pour info: Le système de gestion du parking Bovisand. Vous trouverez un compteur dans le parking et pouvez payer tous les jours ou toutes les semaines. £ 3 par jour ou £ 25 pour la semaine. Lovely relaxing holiday

We spent a week here and apart from a bit of sea mist had a week of wonderful weather. What a great place to sit on the patio with stunning views over Plymouth Sound. Although right on the coast path we really didn't feel the need to venture far.

outstanding view - again

Returning this year after 5 years and the view didn't let us down again. Chalet as expected and we really enjoyed our time once more. Thanks to Sarah always available even via mail too. Just fyi parking is 3£ during winter season and 6£ in the summer. Still no WiFi installed, just to avoid any disappointments of new booking customers.

Not my best choice!

Not suitable for two friends or two family members. Sleeping arrangements for second bedroom unattractive. No WiFi and awkward loading and unloading of luggage. Should have read details more carefully - the location was fantastic and went a long way to compensate for any shortcomings. The place smelt of damp which didn’t go away after airing. The bed, sofa and chair had no support, didn’t do my back any good. Oh and the wall heaters were useless. Not a total disaster but not one to do again.

Beautiful panoramic sea views

We had a wonderful stay at Bovis Sands. Ideal location for relaxing. Locals are very welcoming and friendly. On site cafe is superb. We enjoyed a bbq and watching the sun set from the patio. Highly recommend The Eddystone pub. Gin distillery tour in Plymouth. If out for the evening, don't forget main gate keys! As this is a gated complex. Separate all recycling, food waste and rubbish. Next to the bins is a recycling room. We used the outside tap to shower off sandy legs, i did think it would be a good idea to have an outside shower point for this as not anything by beach and is stated to remove as much sand before entering. The second bedroom is accessed from the bathroom, we managed but something to consider depending on who you are travelling with. We wouldnt hesitate booking again.

Das Haus hat eine wunderbare Lage. Traumhafter Blick aufs Meer und die Sonnenuntergänge. Es war alles da, was man braucht. Sogar ein Fernglas! Ideal zum Entspannen und für lange Spaziergänge.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem Chalet. Die Aussicht, Umgebung, die ganze Landschaft in Devon und Cornwall ist beeindruckend und einfach nur schön! Das Chalet ist sehr gemütlich und hat einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer und die Bucht.

Iconic vista

Superb location overlooking Plymouth Sound..Perfect for walking the coastal path. Property is ideal for a couple and comfortably furnished. Difficult to manipulate the entry code for key and parking requires immediate payment though, in our case, machine refused card and we were grateful for Samantha’s (housekeeper) assistance. No Wi-Fi.

Perfection!

What an absolutely stunning location, with a to die for view!! 😍 After arriving and having an issue with the lock box, the owner called me straight back and managed to get me in (it was probably user error! 🤦🏼‍♀️). We had some unexpected beautiful weather for a couple of days and did the coastal walk to Wembury and back, but spent most of our days sat on the patio reading books and easily distracted by the view! I don’t normally revisit holiday spots but this is one that I would go back but to again and again. Absolutely loved it.

The perfect getaway

The perfect place for a chilled get away from it all break. The chalet has everything needed to self cater. We're usually ones for going out for dinner but with a beautiful sunset view over the bay from the patio, why would you! If I was being picky a couple of sun loungers rather than deck chairs would have been nice but we were blessed with exceptional weather. There is nothing in the bay except a shop & a cafe but Plymouth isn't far away if you want a change of scene. All in all a very comfortable property to stay in & would definitely recommend. The owner Sarah was easy to talk to & she sent us all the information prior to our stay which made our arrival, parking & check in smooth. Many thanks Sarah.

Hello, I live in a small village in Oxfordshire with my husband and 3 children. For over 6 years we've been renting chalets at Bovisand and in 2011 an opportunity arose for us to buy one in the perfect location for us. It's our place to be happy and active and relax. Being right on the coast is fantastic and therapeutic and we just hope you enjoy your stay as much as we always do.

Important information:

Due to COVID 19 and Government safety regulations please be assured that the cleaning company I use have masks, gloves for every task, shoe covers, disposable cloths – single-use everything. I know it is not environmentally friendly but at the moment it is the only way to limit the potential spread of the virus and your safety is important to us.

All cleaning products are certified for use in biohazard cleaning (these are usually only necessary following RTA's/undiscovered deaths, but they protect against more than the usual disinfectant). All PPE is removed outside the chalet door, is double bagged and disposed of in accordance with Government guidelines. Obviously, when things go back to normal they will not need to do this.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It's our seaside bolthole: the chalet. Even in winter when the coast is at it's starkest we still love it here. There is a wonderful feeling being right by the sea that lets us know we've escaped the rat-race. The children spend hours on the beach and never sleep as well as when they're here.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

It's literally minutes walk to the beaches. We are very lucky to have such wonderful views of Bovisand and a lovely large patio and BBQ area to enjoy them from.

We love walking along the coast the Eddistone Inn for a relaxing lunch then back for a quick 'dip' late afternoon. Though my husband will venture into the sea 'all year round'..

It's just the perfect base to return too if we spend the day either at other beaches, the moors, Cornwall. And should we wish for a more lively evening then the Barbican and theatres and cinemas are just 5 miles away.

We never leave without visiting the seafood restaurant 'Platters', on the Barbican. The fishmarket is literally opposite the restaurant. Even A. Lloyd-Webber said 'it's the best fish I have ever tasted'. And we agree. Fantastic!
