Summary:
A newly renovated, beautiful 1st floor apartment set in a large Victorian House on The Hoe. The property is flooded with natural light, freshly redecorated throughout and benefits from high ceilings and original Victorian features.

The Space:
The open plan kitchen has been kitted out with brand new mod-cons such as an oven, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso Vertuo Plus coffee machine. Turn on the radio in the morning and enjoy a slow breakfast at the bar, or sit back and relax in the light and bright living room. After busy days, cuddle up on the sofas in front of the fire - there's a 50 inch 4K smart tv with internet access to all streaming platforms so you won't struggle to find a film or series.

With generously sized bedrooms, there's ample space for a family of four to spread out and enjoy. The Master Bedroom has a brand new king size bed and a wardrobe to hang up clothes, whilst the second bedroom has two comfortable twin beds. Additionally, there is a travel cot for small families. Both share a fresh and clean family bathroom, which features a bath and luxurious waterfall shower. This is a brilliant apartment for those wanting to explore the very best that Plymouth has to offer; with The Hoe, the Waterfront and The Barbican right on your doorstep. There are two parking spaces at the rear of the property which are shared with flat 1, with ample paid parking also nearby.

This is a newly renovated apartment that has been finished with quality and care throughout. Inside, you'll find tasteful modern decor blended with traditional Victorian features.

It is located in a quiet but convenient location in Hoe, known famously as the historic part of Plymouth. Within minutes from the door, you can walk to the beautiful waterfront, Hoe and Smeaton's Tower. Legend has it this is the exact spot that Sir Frances Drake was playing bowls when first news the invading Spanish Armada was brought to him. Within 5-minutes walk, you can reach The Barbican with its fine array of restaurants and bars. For theatre lovers, the Theatre Royal is just 7-minutes walk away and showcases a brilliant selection of live shows all year round.

The Neighborhood:
No trip to Plymouth is complete without a visit to Plymouth Hoe. With stunning views, it’s the perfect place to spend a sunny day, enjoying a picnic on the grass or taking a dip in the art deco Tinside Lido (open during the summer months). The apartment is located centrally, with Hoe Park and the Promenade just a stones throw away. Here, you'll find the iconic Smeaton's Tower lighthouse, which stands at 72 foot high and offers some of the most incredible views of the city and sea. There are plenty of high quality restaurants right on your doorstep, and best yet, all are within an easy walking distance. Try The Waterfront for drinks at sunset, Lorenzos for Spanish Tapas and The Greedy Goose for its alfresco dining. The Dock, Rock Salt and Rockfish are also brilliant for fresh seafood dishes.

The beautiful Dartmoor is just a 25-minute drive and offers some of the UK's most spectacular countryside. Here, you'll find rugged landscapes, wild ponies grazing and acres of stunning forest. With over 386 square miles, there are ample options for getting active. Explore the ancient tors by foot, take to your bike or even try on horseback. Nothing beats braving a cold dip while wild swimming, fishing in the lakes or hiring a kayak for the day.

For beach lovers, nothing beats heading to one of South Devon's striking beaches. Bovisand Bay is just a 25-minute drive, or you can take the number 54 bus from the city. Here, you'll find miles of golden sand, low-rise cliffs, rock-pools and clear waters. Additionally, there are plenty of walks around the beach, which is situated on the South West Coast Path.

Getting Around:
Plymouth has excellent transfer links with London, Cornwall and Bristol so it's easy to enjoy a stay here without the need for a car. Regular trains run to and from the city, and the station is just a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk away. You're in the perfect location to walk everywhere, but should you need any taxis they are very easy to find online.

For drivers, there are two spaces at the rear of the property which are shared with flat 1, with access to the rear from within the building. There is also ample paid parking in the surrounding streets should you wish to bring more than one vehicle or not be able to find a space.

Other Things to Note:
To prevent unnecessary laundry, only the beds required for the number of guests on your booking will be made up. This is: 1 guest - double bed only, 2 guests - double bed and one single bed, 3 or 4 guests - all beds. Please let us know in good time prior to your arrival if you require something different.

Please note: There is currently scaffolding to the rear of the property but this should not impact your stay. Please enquire if you have any concerns.

Location, location, location.

Ideal location as very close to the Hoe and just a short stroll to the Barbican. Good to have off street parking. Downside - early morning wake up call in the twin bedroom from heavy footsteps in the flat above.

Home from home in a fantastic location

We stayed here for 5 weeks and were very comfortable. The flat is spacious, was very clean and had all the amenities. The view of Plymouth Hoe from the front bay window was a bonus as was the parking space.

Long weekend getaway

Lovely location, a short walk to the coast, you can see the sea from the front room window. Property was very spacious and safe for our young family, with everything we needed. Plymouth is a lovely seaport and if we'd stayed for a full week or more we felt we would have had plenty to do. Thank you.
