The kitchen has a head height of 2 metres 3cm, with 2 ancient beams (where some people have to duck a little) the work surfaces have over 2 metres of head room, so this should not be a problem. The kitchen is open plan to the lower sitting room, where there is well over 2 metres of head room. We now have a new tray and the missing bread knife has been replaced....The roof terrace is a wonderful space to sit out on and dine or have a glass of wine. Guests thoroughly enjoy sitting at the little table outside the house, too, as the pedestrian road is very quiet and allows guests to be really part of village life.... Valbonne is a year round village, with permanent residents, school, restaurants, theatre/cinema, shops and galleries.Because of it's enormous charm,it is, of course, a very popular village for visitors. Rest assured it is a real place! I live here, in the village and have dozens of friends who also live here full time. There are 3 car parks in Valbonne, all free, with an enormous overflow area for parking, next to the Theatre, for up to an extra 400 cars... so parking is normally fine. The Friday morning market is renowned and very busy, so perhaps a good idea not to move your car on a Friday morning! Instead, wander round the wonderful stalls of local produce, clothes and artisan items and then have a glass of wine in the Square, people watch and relax......

Still pondering this review Andrew! Very strange among all other reviews at 5 stars! The little crack in the mirror was fixed immediately. All other reviews for cleaning at 5 stars - infact on our main site 174 x 5 star reviews....so puzzled at your strange evaluation of my house. I can only think that you were expecting something completely different...

Translation into English of review submitted: "beautiful house in the middle of an authentic village As a family with 4 children we spent a wonderful week in this extraordinarily beautiful, noble house in the center of Valbonne. The photos correspond to reality, the house is very clean and we were even welcomed in the kitchen with a big bouquet of fresh lilies. Everything is very lovingly decorated and works perfectly. Even the contact with Zillah (Zara) was uncomplicated, as well as the arrival and departure. As already mentioned, the roof terrace is a little gem, there you sit beautifully overlooking the surrounding rooftops. Valbonne is in contrast to many other villages still a relatively normal village, which was not completely sacrificed to tourism, we were very happy to have sat in front of the house on the street and drank our Michkaffee. Cette maison est magnifique. Valbonne est l'endroit idéal pour les couples et les familles. Nous avons pris nos 3 enfants et a eu un temps fabuleux. La maison est propre et bien rangé et joliment décorées. Le propriétaire était poli et serviable. Ce serait bien s'il y avait une information locale disponible dans la maison, mais l'office du tourisme se trouve à seulement quelques minutes à pied de sorte que nous avons eu tout y est! Les escaliers ne conviendrait pas pour les très jeunes enfants (petits) tout simplement parce qu'il ya une forte baisse sur un côté. Notre plus jeune était de 3 ans et demi et il amnaged parfaitement. Je recommande vivement cette maison et de la zone. Assurez-vous de consulter le marché Valbonne le vendredi. Sortez de la maison et tournez à gauche, vous ne pouvez pas le manquer! Recommandé pour: Âge 55 +, Tourisme, Familles avec adolescents, Familles avec de jeunes enfants, Escapade romantique
