This place was filthy. The dishes in the cupboard were gross. I put all the dishes in the dishwasher, and found there was soap in the dispenser. So I close the dishwasher ran it and when it was done it was still filthy because the dispenser didn't work and the soap never opened up and washed the dishes. I had to wash dishes by hand the entire week. The black mold oozing out of the shower door track made me disgusted. I wish I'd had shower shoes with me. The carpet was so disgusting you could not stand to walk around barefoot. It wasn't like this place just wasn't cleaned good from the last visit. This place hadn't been cleaned in months years this was disgusting! It ruined the whole vacation we couldn't wait to get out of there. The check-in office was never open and we never did find a game room that was advertised.

After your departure we inspected the unit and found it in mostly very clean shape, but we did find a few areas that could use extra cleaning and took care of that. We are also happy to say we've expanded our office hours thanks to the addition of a wonderful new front desk team member on our team. We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention, it's how we improve.

This property fit most of our needs. The location, area, and amenities of the resort are great! Our stay was in the summer and the property only has a plug in AC unit. We were hot! Sleeping required multiple portable fans. It was a little tight for 7 people. And I wish there were a few more towels. The kitchen had 1 hand towel. Older property, but kept up well.

Uncomfortable accommodations.

We stayed at this property knowing that it was in a great location. Unfortunately, the bedding was uncomfortable, the couch was not what was pictured on the listing. The mattress in the bedroom was so uncomfortable that we ended purchasing an air mattress from Costco. The sheets had visible stains. Not what we were hoping for, celebrating a family wedding.

Great location! Has access to amazing gym!

Upon arrival, check in took some time as the door lock wasn’t working with the code provided. The staff at the check in lodge were great!! No shovel was available to shovel the snow but upon calling staff, they shoveled the snow for us!! The place was spacious but had a rusty old smell like it’s been closed up for some time. May have also been bleach and/or cleaners used. There is also no access to a BBQ grill (probably only during the summer?!). Overall, the stay was good.

Close but not so Clean or Comfortable

One of my greatest pet peeves is when properties don’t wash mattress covers. Not only was the downstairs bed uncomfortable, I kept getting whiffs of people other than my husband and myself. The carpet needs a good cleaning, and the duct tape on the dishwasher was a bit tacky. We didn’t even know there were glasses because it was never unloaded. The balcony would benefit from more comfortable and sturdy furniture and a small table would be nice. There was little to no communication with the property manager. Thankfully we remembered how to enter based on prior stays with VRBO. The location is great but it appears the property has been neglected or checked for quality amenities.

Horrible experience

We've stayed with Meredith Lodging numerous times. That said, this was the worst experience we've had. We arrived at the unit and in the first five minutes our 10 month old son was black on his hands, arms, feet and knees due to crawling around on the carpet. Also, we had numerous outlets that didn't work. Lastly the second AC unit that was provided didn't work. This was all addressed to management within the first few hours of our arrival. Nothing was done. I then went to the office the next day and asked again about the items listed above and we were assured that they would be handled. Again, nothing. Our son, then started an allergic reaction to the floor. We had to place sock, pants and long shirts on him to keep him from breaking out more then he already had. I then told management about this with the thought that this level of discomfort for us would be addressed. Again, nothing. We are very disappointed with this unit and Meredith Lodging in general. If loyal clients or any client for that matter have issues, they should be attended to. I am sure that this message and email will be placed aside as well. Parr for the course!
