Worked well for our ski trip. Not large but we didnât spend much time in the unit. Clean and well equipped. Good value for the price. Close to the mountain.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
The condo itself is OK but I do not recommend it in the summer. The portable AC units do not really work and it gets VERY hot, especially upstairs. When I spoke to the management about this, they said AC was not an amenity and that I should just open windows. At that point it was 80 upstairs and not much cooler outside. Also be wary of the other amenities claimed by Meredith as none of them will be available during your stay besides a pool. We went to check out bikes and were told they were all broken. The person at the desk seemed gleeful that they were also not offering snacks or other perks at that time. "All amenities are subject to removal per the terms of the rental." I got them to refund my resort fees otherwise I would give this a lower rating. The unit itself was comfortable for 3 people but a little dirty if you looked closely under beds or behind doors. Also, we thought this property had a laundry facility but it did not. The "neighborhood" laundromat was about 3 miles away.
The location is absolutely wonderful, quiet and great walking trails. The condo itself was very, very clean. The beds were super comfortable. We probably wouldnât choose this unit again as it definitely needs some care. There were no linens for the pullout sofa, and no extra blankets. The upstairs bedroom window was left wide open and the handle was broken so the window wouldnât close, and the upstairs bathroom smelled a bit like smoke. The carpet is old and very stiff/crunchy feeling. The furniture in the living room needs updated - itâs old and not very comfortable.Aside from those things, our stay was comfortable and quiet.
Our oven/microwave didnt work and BBQ barely worked. We ended up getting an old giant microwave delivered which took up most of our tiny table so at least we could heat up food, but never had a working oven. One window was stuck open and they werent able to fix it during our stay either. If it wasnt for the faulty appliances, it would have been a great experience. Our kids loved the rec center area with all the toys, video games etc.
This is our second time staying at Mt. Bachelor Village condos and we really like it. However, we likely wouldn't choose this unit again.
Pros: comfortable, big beds (two kings). We love a good bed. Plenty of towels. Nice balcony. Closed upstairs bedroom (instead of an open loft).
Cons: there were some cleaning issues when we arrived. A mess of towels (some dirty) and linens spread around one of the bedrooms, no dish cleaning items in the kitchen, major dust on most appliances. However, property manager was fairly responsive to get those things fixed. Also, no AC. There are two portable units that do a decent job in the living room, but the back bedroom was a swamp. We were there on a VERY hot week, so I can understand portable units struggling to keep up. However, it's routinely 90 degrees in August in Bend and this unit was hot even on those "cooler" days.
Finally, this space is really tight for 4 people (even with two of those people being small children). The furniture is oversized and leaves very little space to move around. A re-design of the furniture in the space would go a long way in making it more livable. Two adult couples would likely struggle.
Overall, we would definitely go back to the resort. The pool is great and we love that there is a playground. We would just choose a different unit.
The location and property were wonderful. The condo is pretty close to everything and very quiet.
The Condo itself was nice and comfortable. However, we were quite disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. There was dust and/or spider webs on every wall sconce, ceiling fan, bathroom cabinets, and pictures on the wall. The upstairs bedroom had a random dirty blue towel behind the door that had been there for who knows how long. There also were not additional linens to accommodate the hide a bed. With the cleaning fees associated with this property, we would hope that dusting would have been included.
This was the perfect location for my two adult children and I. The outdoor deck was used everyday either enjoying breakfast, dinner or a glass of wine! We were visited by deer every day. It was a quiet location within walking distance to the pool. Johnny, from the office, was very helpful and courteous. I marked down the cleanliness because of dust on top of the refrigerator where the cutting board was stored. I looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks.
I would stay here again!
Very nice and clean property. The beds were really comfortable. Got there after dark and did have a hard time finding it but when we got there everything was perfect.
Nice place for what we needed in Bend. Kitchen is very small, more kitchen essentials could be helpful. There is not an oven...the microwave is supposed to double as an oven, we did not try. There is a stove top. Check in time is a bit late, but we worked with it.
Good for 2-3 people. Challenging to prepare food with zero counter space and no real oven. Great for short stays. Nice deck and furnishings. Beds were comfortable.
We enjoyed the small two bedroom unit. It was clean and quiet and fairly close to the river for walking and jogging. Kitchenette was bit small for doing much cooking. The flapper on the downstairs toilet was broken when we arrived. I sent a message to management and it was two days before they fixed it.
Everything was good... I booked this in a hurry and was under the impression I was booking a unit with a River view and hot tub... which was wrong. But Iâm not was clean, spacious, and comfortable for a few friends.
Two nights in Bend. This comfy unit is close to the Mill district and the gorgeous river front area. A short drive to the Old Town, and ~20 minutes to the High Desert Museum. It made for a great family weekend (2 Adults and 2 Teens).
