We had a lovely week - could do with a safe, wi-ifi as the wi-fi you buy isnât good and instructions on where to switch on air con. Boiler gave up while we were there and a new one was put in the same day. The host contacted me to check it had been done. Lovely view from the balcony and some lovely time spent at the pool. Easy walk down to the beach. Cable cars, marine park worth a visit.
I stayed at the apartment for 6 weeks and everything was very good. The location is close to Parque Palmona and only 10 mins walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. The supermarket, MAS, is a few minutes walk away. I am happy to recommend the apartment and look forward to my return.
It had just been painted so smell of paint strong . The curtain for bedroom was full of dust and dirt and was left in corner no brackets to hold it up . Apartment needs updating and good clean ( could be lovely ) only 1 bath towel and hand towel for 2 of us . Only 1 egg cup . Poor show on that . Toaster broken but was replaced after waiting 3 days . In good position and could be lovely if updated and given good clean . We stayed 10 days

We had a problem with the boiler in the appartment!! Plumber had to be called 3 times and though we couldn't blame the owner for this it did put a bit of a damper on our holiday as we were unable to shower after being at the beach
This one bedroom is a gem in waiting. Location and view are perfect and the front desk staff are amazing. However there is so much junk, ie rabbit ear, old paint, pieces of carpet in the bedroom closet under a fold up bed that seems to have been untouched for years given the layers of dust than can be peeled off, every drawer in the credenza and shelves in the washing machine closet are full of decades old items leaving no storage for the tenants. We both got chest infections and my husband a skin allergy from which he is still recuperating. Two visits to the hospital and we were advised not to open the bedroom closet and to bag the books because of the dust spores they contained. The chemist gave us masks to wear while we were doing this.
Pity that this lovely spot is not better cared for. Clean it out, give it a coat of paint and update the 40 year old tub and faucets and voilĂ .... a gem
I have stayed in a few of the apartment blocks within this complex now and have never been disapointed. This year, my wife & three kids went for two weeks and we rented from Mo & Debbie of one of their apartments in the Minerva complex. They were very helpful and did everything to make sure we were well looked after. The apartment itself was spacious and had enough room for all of us to move around comfortably without the feeling of being cramped. It had everything we expected and the aircon system was great. I think it was 1 euro for 2 and a half hours and believe me, it's well worth it and it works great. Even though we stayed in ground floor accommodation, it was not noisy and infact, it was quite the opposite as everyone seemed to take note of the warning signs asking people to respect other peoples peace and quiet. The pool facilities were second to non and the Minerva & Jupitor apartments shared the best pool. The pool was well looked after and you always felt safe letting the kids play in there as the life gaurds are on the ball. There are many things to do around Benalmadena and if you take the time to look around, you will realise that you can get everything you need at really good prices. There are literally hundreds of places to eat and drink from the 24 hour square for the younger kids to party to the marina whichj has some great places to eat and some stunning views. I would reccomend pinocchio's restaurant on the sea front and Tony's in the fountain bar square. All in all, you get more than you pay for but just dont expect 4 star as you wont get it. What you do get is everything you need at very good prices

This review is purely for Apartment 7 of the Jupiter Complex. Apartment is owned by Mo Ibrahim of Swansea and is advertised on several websites. The apartment is not as advertised! Owner does not reply to complaints.
Apartment is dirty, shabby & poorly maintained. It is dangerous in parts.
Kitchen â a stove should have been in the apartment but has been removed by the owner to reduce his insurance costs, a microwave and a two ring hob remain to cook on. Two ring hob is grubby all of the numbers on dials have long gone. A frying pan & small saucepan are the only things available to cook with, 3 other pots are too large to fit on the rings. Microwave is a basic model only suitable for re-heating. None of the crockery matches, most is chipped. 6 âoddâ dinner plates, 1 tea plate, 2 dishes, 5 mugs, 6 âoddâ beer glasses & a plastic jug. No wine glasses. Door on the freezer compartment of fridge was missing. Kettle had not cleaned, the toaster looked as if it had caught fire. Washing machine & iron fairly new & worked fine. Ironing board was burned, had holes..
Seating area â table, chairs & coffee table old fashioned but OK. Settee in the advert was a bed settee but looked comfortable & had arms, actually in apartment is a hard, plastic covered sofa, no arms & no comfort for sitting. Other chair OK. Wall unit drawers full of rubbish, old batteries & spare bulbs. Cupboard had books but also had dirty linen shoved in it. Satellite TV, 6 English channels but the picture is not very clear.
Bedroom â the bedroom has the two smallest single beds I have ever had the misfortune to sleep in with ill fitting & very old linen. The proper beds which fitted the wall mounted headboards shown on the website had been replaced with âZâ bed type frames, one was held together with duct tapeâ, the mattresses were old & had ripped covers.
Bathroom â FILTHY. Towels were to be provided, we were given 1 x bath towel and 1 x hand towel. Shower worked OK but soaked the bathroom as the wall fixing is broken & the shower sprays everywhere. I could not bring myself to use the bath! Toilet seat is heavily scratched & split so had to be cleaned and sanitised before we could use. Floor had not been cleaned.
Dangerous conditions of the apartment â air conditioning unit was working but the flaps were broken held open with clothes pegs, curtain over air conditioning unit, wiring is poor, had wires held together with black tape. One of the railings on balcony is broken.
this is a fantastic appartment it is just as it looks on the photos close to lots of bars and restaurants very clean hotel staff friendley and helpfull owner very helpfill and fast to respond when you contact them highly reccomend this appartment lots of bars and very good fish shop just across road
A value for money holiday. Fanrastic pool area and a great base to explore the resort and nearby places. There are loads of bars and restaurants in the vicinity and a walk down "Cardiac Hill" takes around ten minutes where you'll find an upmarket marina and an okayish beach. There are some excellent eateries around the marina. Well worth a visit if you're foodies.
"I stayed on the 1st floor Minerva and booked with Mo. I've been many times and always check photos of the apartment because they vary so much. We found Benalmadena really reasonable for eating out and Paloma park is amazing and free. From these apartments you can walk to all local attractions and the beach is 5 mins walk. We found the 24hr reception staff to be very helpful and polite"
"I have to write this to let people know what a great time we had.
e got atrain from Malaga airport to Benalmadena was only 1.85 euro each, got to the apartments, everything in them, including a washing machine, although we didn't use it.
Staff great, wifi 1 euro for six hours, massive swimming pool and very local to everything,
We went in May for two weeks, when we got back we immediately booked to go back over in July
I would recommend this to absolutely everyone
Oh and San Miguel is only 1 euro a pint everywhere."
"Just got back from my holiday in Benalmadena,we stayed in Jupiter block ,9th floor overlooking sea/marina,the apt was great ,nicely furnished, beautiful views & staff at reception were very friendly. We would definitely go back again next summer.

Well this complex offers 4 large blocks of private rentable apartments. All are perfect for a stay on the Costa del sol. The complex has a very large swimming pool, a smaller swimming pool and a Childrens pool, also within the pool area is a bar where you can get drinks snanks ect......
The apartments are great place to base yourself in if you want to visit the many area's along the costa. If you want me to recomend any please get in contact, because I have used the same agent for over 7 years now all the apartments are clean and tidy and if you want to eat in you can cook, but I don't because of the Sq over the road.
Over the road is Bonazza Sq and its a perfect place to eat and drink with lots of great little eating placing and bars and all at very cheap prices and i mean cheap too.

In our opinion this apartment needed new furniture,it needed a new floor air con was jammed open with pegs, the freezer door kept falling off the bed leg tied up with string,it required fully painting, the apartment needed cleaning. the grouting was filthy in bathroom and soap dish, the washing up bowl was cracked. we were not happy at all
for t
.We have had better for less.
Stayed in this apartment a couple of years ago. Absolutely brilliant. Lovely clean bright apartment with lovely view over the pool, on lower floor with direct access to pool without steps. All you could need. Residential apartment block in central position, couldn't be nicer.
they say you get what you pay for the electics are a little dodgy although that could be a spanish thing and you soon get used to it the flat is pretty basic but has everthing you need including a shelf full of english books! its location is right bang in the middle of little england everything you could possibly want or need is within 5mins walk although the beach is ten. i certainly enjoyed myself stayed five weeks in january and will be back again next year! budget end of the market but real value for money!
