Si vous avez la chance d'y séjourner, vous ferez l'expérience unique de vivre dans une vraie maison parisienne en vous procurant le sentiment d'intimité que seul un bel appartement de ce genre peut donner… bien différent d'un hôtel!
70 mq "Charming Maître Albert" a un beau et grand salon avec deux fenêtres, une chambre avec un lit queen et une salle de bain en suite (avec douche), une chambre bureau avec un lit simple, une salle de bain principale avec baignoire / douche et une cuisine.
Pour accéder à la chambre principale, vous devez passer par la salle du bureau.
Les meubles anciens, les splendides tapis au sol et aux murs, les livres sur les étagères, tout embrasse l'appartement dans une aura parisienne chaleureuse et unique.
Les chambres décorées d'objets et de meubles du passé comme deux fauteuils de la fin du XVIIIe siècle ou un petit meuble chinois du début du XIXe siècle, une table chinoise du XVIIe siècle dans la cuisine, un kilim persan dans le bureau, des tableaux et objets d'art…

Great location, Parisian charm, with modern comforts

A truly charming place for our one-week stay. Just blocks from Notre Dame in the famous Saint-Germain neighborhood. Quiet and comfortable. Katherine was very responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. Even a few handy plug adapters. And restaurant recommendations. Would love to stay here again.

Perfect location

We came to Paris to visit our daughter in grad school. We found the apartment comfortable, appointed with everything we needed, and perfectly located to explore on foot and by metro and bus. Catherine met us when we arrived (and let us check in early). She showed us the way everything worked and was a friendly, upbeat welcome after a long journey. Very comfy beds and pillows. Everything clean and some lovely bookshelves to peruse. Highly recommend!

Paris delight..

The apartment was as described..we did have hot water issues but Catherine was quick to handle the problem and was very helpful. She assisted us with luggage on our arrival & departure as the apartment does require using stairs and I had just had a knee replacement. Catherine arranged a taxi for our ride to the airport as well and was very conscientious throughout out stay.

Great flat and great location

The flat is in a very nice location with lots of shops and restaurants but was still quiet at night. Catherine met us on arrival. She was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Location

Wonderful stay near Notre Dame and Latin quarter. The home felt like we wet at home. Catherine met us at the apartment and gave us great information about the area and places to visit. We would stay again in a heart beat.

Fantastic location loved walking by Notte Dame everyday. When we would come back after a long day of walking, it was nice to have a choice of cafes near by. The apartment was the perfect French chic. Character, quaint, convenient and quiet

We loved our six-day stay at Maitre Albert with all its quirky character and historic ambience. One block from the Seine and easy access to everywhere; clean and comfortable; all the amenities necessary and lots of hot water. Best of all is the apartment manager Catherine, who welcomes you with everything to make your visit in Paris superb. She is responsive and accommodating! Highly recommend this historic haven!

Very quaint and enjoyable apartment

The apartment was in the best area with easy walk to all the Paris attractions. Rather intreaguing mass of art, books and artefacts. The owner must live an interesting life. Communication with Catherine was excellent. Could not have wished for a better stay in Paris.

A quiet old building that was an oasis is a highly visited area, it was a perfect retreat for those who cherish and understand the pleasures of a place that is filled with the beautiful momentos of an owner's interesting life. A quiet haven.

We’ve stayed here three times and loved it for its charm and peace in the middle of everywhere you want to be. My son ended up sleeping on the lounge as the single bed is very uncomfortable. Quite funny because the lounge is uncomfortable to sit on. A couple of nice armchairs would be perfect. Apart from that I can’t imagine a better place to stay.

Property manager could not been more accommodating. Catherine was terrific in every way. Complaints would be some attention to detail such as 2 of the 3 lights in the kitchen did not work and the toilet seat in one of the two bathrooms was broken.

Great Location

This sizeable apartment is located just a block away from the main thoroughfare and Seine River, but it is cozy and quiet at night. Catherine did a fantastic job of meeting us to explain everything in the unit and ensure that we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The living room has great natural light, and the bathtub was an extra treat. Is the perfect size for a nice soak after a day or exploring Paris. We were only 2 people, but walking through the twin room to get to the master would not be a problem for a bigger group as the twin room would use the bathroom in the general area and the master bedroom has its own bathroom. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Paris.

Fabulous! A caravanserai for scholars

What a wonderful place to stay for two weeks! My husband and I were very comfortable in the centuries old apartment, a treasure trove of middle eastern art and furnishings. Very roomy, two bathrooms makes a big difference. A wonderful fresh market a block away, takeout Moroccan was the best. Walk half a block to the Seine and Ile st Louis and Notre Dame. Easy transportation. My dream place to live.

Quaint & Cosy Close to everything

We were met by Catherine upon arrival, she was very welcoming and explained all we needed to know about the flat. It was cosy and had everything we needed. Close to Notre Dame and a great neighborhood, that had shops and restaurants, The kitchen was well equipped with a washer/dryer, microwave, stove and plenty of plates etc. It is in an old building with one flight of stairs to the flat. There is no elevator, and there is a secure gate for entry. The photos are accurate to how the flat looks. The main living room is large, bright and airy, the windows can be opened for a nice breeze, there is no TV in this room but there is a small one in the main bedroom. The second bedroom has a single bed in a study that you have to walk through to get to the main bedroom. The WiFi works fine. I would recommend this place if you like old world charm. I wouldn’t say it is kid friendly because there are so many books and collectibles around the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Exactly as promised

First, Catherine went above and beyond to help us and solve our problems. The location is right by the Seine and Notre Dame. We could walk or Uber wherever we wanted to go. It was 102F but the apartment stayed very cool. It was a bit noisy at times but it did not bother us. You do walk through one bedroom to get to the other, but this is exactly as stated and was not a problem. For Paris, the size and location of this apartment is a real find! Thank you Catherine for taking care of us during our week in Paris.

This Place Is Great; We Highly Recommend It

This property made our stay in Paris so much better. It’s as charming in person as it appears in the listing. The location is fantastic: close to Metro; practically across the street from the Seine; across the river from Notre Dame; and with innumerable great restaurants, cafes, bars, bakeries, cheese shops, butchers, etc, all within very brief walking distance. Catherine is the on-site liaison, and she couldn’t have been more communicative and helpful. Not only did we have contact with her prior to arrival, but she also greeted us at the door. She then personally walked us through the property, giving us detailed information about the particulars. She also helpfully provided recommendations about nearby places, and about getting around the city. She even followed that with more emailed suggestions about places to go and things to do. We’ll return to Paris. When we do, we intend to stay at this lovely place again.

Great secure location

We picked this property because of the price, location, and rating. We had a very nice stay at this property and recommend it. The property is an ancient apartment in an ancient building behind two code protected gates and up a quirky but sturdy set of stairs. This place was our home for a week. The location was very convenient to most major attractions and just a short walk to shops and restaurants. The place is stocked with the basics including dishes, silverware, water and wine glasses, iron, modern major appliances like stove, microwave, half size fridge, washing machine (no electric dryer), coffee maker with ground coffee. The front room looks out over the street and the bedrooms look out over the courtyard which helps a lot with noise. Our only negative is there was a cigarette smell in the living room only. We assume it was coming from the flat downstairs. The beds were comfortable but short. Probably a French thing. But we slept well every night.

A dreamy experience in Paris

Oh wow, where to start?! This was my first trip to Paris, for my niece's high school graduation gift. If you know anything about teenagers, they can be hard to please ;) But my niece and I were completely blown away by this apartment. Catherine, the host, kept us updated on our check-in experience, as we arrived early in the morning and then had some airport delays. She was there when we arrived and gave us all the details about the apartment, the neighborhood, and some recommendations. The apartment itself was amazing - we felt like we were true Parisians! It was perfectly clean and well-appointed. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were very nice. We weren't sure what to expect since it's an old building, but it is spacious and contains fascinating art and books from the owner's travels. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was much appreciated. The location was perfect - you could turn left and be at the Seine and Notre Dame in a minute, or you could turn right and be in a more neighborhood-feel location, with tons of shops and restaurants and markets. I loved waking up early to visit the boulangerie and the farmers market. We had so much fun exploring the area by foot, and it was an easy Uber ride to the Eiffel Tower when our feet started to hurt. I would 100% stay in this apartment if I am lucky enough to return to Paris. 10 out 10 I recommend!
