Les mises Ă  jour sont ici! Notre notre maison a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment mise Ă  jour! Beau nouveau plancher, nouvelle literie mise Ă  jour, fraĂźchement peinte et bien plus encore! Notre maison est situĂ©e sur un chemin privĂ©, nichĂ© dans une pinĂšde et une chĂȘnaie. Cet emplacement offre Ă  la fois calme et commoditĂ© Ă  la ville, aux plages et aux attractions. Directement en face de l'entrĂ©e de notre route se trouve une entrĂ©e de la piste cyclable de l'Ăźle. La piste cyclable pavĂ©e traverse toute la forĂȘt domaniale et est parfaite pour cette course du matin, une balade Ă  vĂ©lo ou une promenade paisible le soir. Les courts de tennis sont situĂ©s juste en bas de la route. La grande terrasse a une table de pique-nique pouvant accueillir 8 personnes, parfaite pour les repas en plein air! Il y a aussi des transats confortables pour se prĂ©lasser. La grande cour est parfaite pour une partie de kickball, de volleyball, de repos dans le hamac ou simplement pour observer les oiseaux. La maison a un plan d'Ă©tage ouvert avec plafond cathĂ©drale, une cuisine plus rĂ©cente, une laveuse et une sĂ©cheuse et une douche extĂ©rieure supplĂ©mentaire. Le rez-de-chaussĂ©e a 1 salle de bain complĂšte, 1 chambre avec un lit queen et 2 commodes et une autre chambre avec un futon queen et une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat. A l'Ă©tage, une 3Ăšme chambre avec 3 lits jumeaux parfaite pour les enfants. Le salon principal dispose d'une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat de 42 "avec lecteur DVD. WiFi est Ă©galement inclus dans la maison. La cuisine est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et dispose d'une table pouvant accueillir 6 personnes. Un barbecue au charbon de bois Weber est Ă©galement disponible. 12 minutes de Vineyard Haven et ferry. Des dispositions flexibles sont disponibles pour tenir compte de la disponibilitĂ© des rĂ©servations de ferry. Soyez Ă  l'affĂ»t des dindes sauvages qui parcourent l'Ăźle. ils sont merveilleux Ă  voir. N'oubliez pas de consulter notre livre de location (dit Marvel) avec de nombreuses suggestions d'Ăźles et d'Ă©crire vos commentaires dans notre journal d'accueil avant de partir!

We had a wonderful two weeks. The house is cosy and inviting and is perfectly located. The yard was a plus-lots os space for my family. The house was better than advertised was spotless when we arrived and welcoming. Easy communication with agent addressed any issue immediately.

Gem of an affordable find during high season on island! Darla was very communicative & notified us ahead of our travel of an issue with the water pump and pressure. Rather than simply patch the issue quickly, Darla thoroughly repaired it. We really appreciated that Darla proposed options to us ahead of our arrival which ensured we would have access to water. We were outfitted with a temporary water dispenser that was only need for 1 day. The nautical-themed art and intricate map of the island in one of the bedrooms made it feel nice and beachy. The kitchen had a cushioned bench by a window ideal for reading. There were ample fans which we didn't need to use given the wonderful cross-breeze from the windows and patio. Appliances worked great & the bbq tools were a great convenience. I removed one overall star because of peeling in the bathtub that progressed just from water pressure. Once the tub is glazed, this likely won't be an issue.

Great location, everything you need for a Vineyard vacation.

We enjoyed our two week stay at the Blair house, the location is central to many great spots on the island. We especially enjoyed access to beautiful Lambert’s Cove beach. The outdoor shower was terrific!

The location of the house is convenient and there is a sweet farm stand next door for fresh goodies. Being able to get parking at lamberts cove is an extra perk!

Nice place to stay on the island

Darla's house is a wonderful place to stay. It has everything one could ask for. And Darla was very responsive when we needed help. We have stayed there a few years and intend to keep coming back.

Property is convenient to both Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. Had an issue at move in with property; once Darla was notified she addressed it.

Great stay in West Tisbury!

We had a fantastic stay at Darlas property in West Tisbury. The property has a gorgeous yard and is in a great location. Our kids loved the bedroom upstairs, and overall the house was great for our family of 4. The outdoor shower was great. This house everything you need, we would stay again.

Cozy and Charming!

My family has been visiting the Vineyard for the past 8 years and were lucky to book this home for 2022. It is affordable and nicely sized for a family of 3. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful, and the home has been well-maintained and was very clean. We'd definitely rent this home again.

Quaint & Comfy

The house was quaint. It was fully stocked with everything you needed. Spacious enough that we were not on top of each other. My parents enjoyed sitting outside in the morning drinking coffee and tea. Nice and private. There was a smell. I think it’s mildew. That was the only concern but we kept the A.C running, That kinda masked it. Other then that it was great.

Martha’s Vineyard family vacation

Darla was beyond helpful with making our family vacation everything we had hoped for. The home was charming, conveniently located and had everything our family needed for our stay. We enjoyed the great location of the bike/ walking trail directly across the street from the house. Loved the farmers market, great restaurants with vegan choices close by. Most of all, the open space in her home had plenty of room inside and out. We enjoyed the beaches, cookout's and beautiful sunsets as well. It was a nice relaxing vacation, just what we needed! Wonderful place to stay

This is a real wonderful place to stay. We used to stay in another place in the area but starting this year, it is no longer available. We are so glad that happened. This place is bigger and so much nicer for almost the same price. It is peaceful and well-provisioned. We especially liked having all the linen we needed, the full kitchen, the TV, and many bedrooms. Plus the outdoor shower. The property is isolated enough to be quiet and peaceful, yet near to where we wanted to be. And the air conditioner, which cooled and dried the downstairs area during the very humid days we were there, made an enormous difference. We will be back!

Cozy West Tisbury House

Blair House was very welcoming and overall a great experience. House has an amazing backyard or a side yard, if you will. It is spacious with multiple areas to relax. Strategically the property is located close to many points of interest on the island, only 10 mins drive from Vineyard Haven and the incoming ferry, and about 20 mins to Oak Bluffs. The booking and the communication with property manager was easy and all the check-in/chek-out instructions - very clear. Inside of the house was clean and comfortable for our family. We have been coming to Martha's Vineyard for years and have rented few houses and this one is one of the favorites from now on. We will be definitely looking again to rent Blair house if it is available for our next trip to the island.

Close to everything

We spent a week here with our 4.5 year olds. It was a perfect size for a family of 5 and had family visit for the day. Outdoor shower is key. Location is quiet, private, with a nice yard and deck. They stock it with basic household items which was really nice. The furthest drive was less than 20 min and we enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle. Bike trail directly across from the house was awesome for bike rides, walks, runs and the school playground is less than a mile away (great spot!). We got a pass to Lamberts Cove Beach for the week ($50) and used it three times- so great. Cloudy week turned sunny and hotter left me feeling warm at night- especially for the kids upstairs. Fans helped, and the AC unit is good, but can’t cool the entire house. We moved from the downstairs bedroom to the room with the futon and slept there more comfortably (closer to AC). Really comfy mattress pad in the closet. In need of updating and some screen repairs. With the heat and screens torn, bugs could easily get in. But we had the best week!

Love the Vineyard

The house is in a great location and has a good sized deck and nice yard. The interior of the house is very dated and other than a new floor in the main part of the house, there were no renovations. It was also musty, but got better as I opened windows and used some scented candles.It was well stocked with supplies. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The wifi and tv service were good and the washing machine and dryer were a plus. There is no real AC but that was not a problem for us on the main floor as it was June and there usually was a breeze. It wasn't comfortable for the second floor bedroom where our friends stayed so they had the fan going on all night. The one bathroom is very small and dated. When we arrived animals had invaded the garbage cans in the back and there was garbage strewn all over. The owner called me back right away and said she would try to get someone to clean it up. I asked if she had someone who managed the property for her since she lived in Chicago. Her reply was that there was a labor shortage on the island. However she soon texted me that she got someone to come around 6 pm that same day to clean up and get rid of the garbage. There is a big storage shed on the property, to the left of the driveway with. a lot of equipment , and trucks etc. I assumed it was just storage and thought nothing of it until one night when everyone else was asleep, I heard a car pull very near the house and the sound of a door closing and heard footsteps nearby. I was frightened as I thought someone was on the premises. The next morning I walked around to the storage shed and met the owners tenant who lives on the premises. He said he rented from her and he had multiple vehicles and landscaping trucks and worked in the day as a mason. He lifted up his shirt to show me his back was injured and told me that anytime he was not working he took care of the house for the owner. I could clearly see the shed from the master bedroom window and sometimes saw the tenant walking around, so I was careful to keep the blinds closed. I dont recall anywhere on the description of the house mentioning this tenant/caretaker. That to me was very concerning. I hope in the future description that is included .

Vineyard Trip

This property is perfect for a small family vacation. The location on the Island is ideal. This was our third year at the property and we find it an excellent choice and would highly recommend.

This is our family home, loving built mostly by my father and mother. We have added upgrades throughout the years to keep it updated. Generation after generation has enjoyed many happy times going fishing, going to the beach, bike riding on the bike path and all of the activities that Martha's Vineyard has to offer. We especially love to have our steamers (clams) and lobsters out on the deck as a summertime ritual. And taking an outdoor shower is must for a true Vineyard experience. We take pride in our home and want to share a wonderful Vineyard experience with others. We are always open to suggestions on ways to improve your rental time in our home.
