Situé à moins d'un kilomètre d'Eastville Point Beach, ce cottage confortable et charmant est idéalement situé pour accéder facilement à tout ce que l'île magique de Martha's Vineyard a à offrir. La piste cyclable et la ligne de bus ne sont qu'à quelques pas de cette maison chérie située sur une voie tranquille et idéalement située à mi-chemin entre les centres-villes animés de Vineyard Haven et Oak Bluffs, situés en bas de l'île.

Les meubles et la décoration récemment mis à jour sont conçus pour faciliter la vie de vacances. La maison offre un séjour sur un étage avec 2 chambres privées, chacune avec son propre placard, une salle de bain complète avec combo baignoire / douche, une cuisine à aire ouverte, des espaces salle à manger et salon, un pont avant spacieux et un porche 3 saisons entièrement fermé . Avec sa douche "extérieure" fermée, sa cuisine entièrement équipée et son lave-linge / sèche-linge, il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer de merveilleuses vacances dans les vignobles. La cuisine, le salon et la salle à manger peuvent être séparés des chambres à coucher, offrant une tranquillité accrue et une plus grande intimité pour les "lève-tôt" ou les "lève-tard"! Deux chambres, une avec un lit queen, l'autre avec deux lits jumeaux, peuvent accueillir confortablement 4 personnes. La véranda arrière 3 saisons dispose d'un mobilier de style jardin et d'une table et constitue l'endroit idéal pour savourer une tasse de thé et un bon livre avec une vue sur la cour arrière boisée.

Il est possible de se rendre à pied depuis Oak Bluffs (1. 6 miles) ou Vineyard Haven (2. 0 miles) et le terminal de ferry, et avec la piste cyclable et la ligne de bus VTA à deux pas de votre porte, vous pourrez facilement profiter de votre séjour dans ce Martha's Vineyard Cottage avec ou sans voiture. Si vous préférez venir avec votre voiture, il y a un grand parking dans la rue pour 2 véhicules ou 1 véhicule avec une remorque pour bateaux. Apportez vos propres vélos et kayaks ou louez-les auprès de pourvoiries à proximité à Vineyard Haven et Oak Bluffs.

Perfect cottage

Arrowsmith Cottage was in a perfect location for our visit, in close proximity to Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. Everything we needed was available in the Cottage (and exactly where you guessed it should be). Highly recommend!

Amazing Stay

This is one of the best properties on island. It's convenient to both Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. It's perfectly suited for a family of 4 with everything you need (and nothing "extra" to clutter the home). We can't wait to stay again!

Wonderful Long weekend

We had a very nice stay at the Arrowsmith's cottage. It was comfortable and impeccably clean. It came very well stocked with everything you could need. It has easy access to oak Bluffs and is just a short ride to Edgartown. We certainly would recommend the house to anyone visiting Martha's vineyard

Comfortable, cozy cottage

Arrowsmith Cottage was the perfect little place for our weekend getaway to the Vineyard! Our little family of 3 was very comfortable in the space. It's spotlessly clean, and very well appointed with everything we needed. Carol and Ted were very communicative, and thought of everything to make sure our stay was perfect. The location was nice and quiet, and it was just a short drive away from everything we wanted to do during our stay. We hope to return soon!

The cottage was absolutely perfect, incredibly clean, comfortable, well stocked for anything we might have needed or forgotten. Quiet, great location convenient to Oaks Bluff and Vineyard Haven. Check-in and out was easy as can be- over a great place to stay on MV!

Lovely cottage for family of 4

We had a wonderful time at Carol and Ted’s cottage! My husband and I went with our two kids (4 and 2) and our small dog. The cottage was clean, quaint and comfortable. There were lawn chairs and sand toys to borrow. It was a convenient location as we were able to bike to Oak Bluffs and Tisbury. Would recommend to families!

Great place, very clean!

I was very happy with the place and the location. Everything was very comfortable. The host even contacted me when we left about a dog toy we left behind and we were able to pick it up since it was the dogs favorite toy!

Enjoyed the cleanliness and coziness of the cottage ! Very peaceful. Met up with daughters, niece and nephew at Norton Point Beach - 4 different days. Love that drive-on beach ! Enjoyed spending time with the teenagers in the group 😊 - they grew up so fast. Enjoyed shopping and dining in downtown Oak Bluffs and in Edgartown . Week went by too fast !

Wonderful week on the vineyard

The house could not have been cleaner or more well organized, and it was just perfect for our family of 4 and our lab. The location, just off a bike trail made it easy to get to town and the short walk to the bay beach across the street was safe and easy. Highly recommended- great stay!

Cozy cottage

This cozy cottage was the perfect spot for our family of 4! The location is great, close to Oak Bluffs and convenient to exploring the rest of the island. The home is clean and stocked with everything we needed. The screened in back porch was a great place to start and finish our day.

Cozy cottage

Perfect little cottage for my parents celebrating their 48-year anniversary. Cottage was very clean and had everything they needed to enjoy their weekend. They said they may make it an annual trip from now on. Highly recommend!

Great Location

This cute little cottage was perfect for our stay on MV. We could easily bike to vineyard haven and OB. We even made the trip into Edgartown on bike. The best part was that the cottage was located on a quiet street so there was no traffic going by when we wanted to stay back and relax!

Great place for a vacation

The Arrowsmith Cottage was exactly as described, it was the perfect place for two adults and a dog. Very clean, close to all the places we wanted to visit. Outside and inside porch were a delight to sit and relax. The oustide shower was the best during our stay and we couldn't ask for much more. Carol and Ted were great host and the little ornament that they left will always remind us of our stay.

Adorable cottage

Beautiful, clean, bright and updated cottage. We enjoyed the front deck and screened-in porch. We really appreciated no bugs or cobwebs. I love the little MV ornament Carol left for us which I will enjoy at home!

The hosts , Carol and Ted Arrowsmith, made the whole experience a pleasure from beginning to end . Their cottage is a lovely home sweet home, the perfect place to relax as well as rest after a full day on MV. There is such attention to detail it truly makes you feel fully in vacation mode . It was the best experience I’ve ever had renting a place !

AMAZING Hosts & FABULOUS House

This property and it's owners are amazing...so easy to communicate with...all the little things you forgot to bring were there for you...the back porch is wonderful...super clean...AC kept us all very comfortable...kitchen was stocked with all the necessities to cook...outdoor shower was key...felt like I was using a friends house...so welcoming and kind.

Wonderful long fall weekend!

My husband and I booked the cottage for a leisurely fall weekend where we were also attending a family wedding. We can't say enough good things about the cottage or how responsive the owners were to our needs. All the essentials are there and it was the perfect amount of space fo us. The location was also great in terms of proximity to town and circuit ave. We'll definitely look to book here again for future trips!

Relaxing cottage.

Cute cottage and we had a lovely time. However, there were four and the couch only sits three in front of the TV. I recommend a small sitting chair set a family room TV together.

We are lifelong New Englanders with family ties in Connecticut, although we spend most of our time here on island enjoying everything that makes Martha's Vineyard a truly unique and magical place. Managing our rental cottage here has brought us many new experiences and new friends, and we look forward to hosting travelers to this beautiful island for years to come.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We first visited the Vineyard many years ago for a family vacation and instantly fell in love with the island. Following many seasons of renting through Vrbo as guests ourselves, we eventually purchased a modest home in Vineyard Haven to call our own. We were later very fortunate to also find this charming Oak Bluffs cottage. We are very excited to share this sweet cottage with our guests so that they may also discover and enjoy all the natural beauty, cultural diversity, fun and adventure that Martha's Vineyard has to offer.

We love this cottage for it's simple charm, its proximity to down-island amenities, its closeness to the beach, bike path and bus route, and for its uncluttered and efficient layout and ample storage space which allows us to easily provide our guests with pretty much everything anyone could need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay on beautiful Martha's Vineyard.
