Situé à moins d'un kilomÚtre d'Eastville Point Beach, ce cottage confortable et charmant est idéalement situé pour accéder facilement à tout ce que l'ßle magique de Martha's Vineyard a à offrir. La piste cyclable et la ligne de bus ne sont qu'à quelques pas de cette maison chérie située sur une voie tranquille et idéalement située à mi-chemin entre les centres-villes animés de Vineyard Haven et Oak Bluffs, situés en bas de l'ßle.

Les meubles et la dĂ©coration rĂ©cemment mis Ă  jour sont conçus pour faciliter la vie de vacances. La maison offre un sĂ©jour sur un Ă©tage avec 2 chambres privĂ©es, chacune avec son propre placard, une salle de bain complĂšte avec combo baignoire / douche, une cuisine Ă  aire ouverte, des espaces salle Ă  manger et salon, un pont avant spacieux et un porche 3 saisons entiĂšrement fermĂ© . Avec sa douche "extĂ©rieure" fermĂ©e, sa cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et son lave-linge / sĂšche-linge, il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer de merveilleuses vacances dans les vignobles. La cuisine, le salon et la salle Ă  manger peuvent ĂȘtre sĂ©parĂ©s des chambres Ă  coucher, offrant une tranquillitĂ© accrue et une plus grande intimitĂ© pour les "lĂšve-tĂŽt" ou les "lĂšve-tard"! Deux chambres, une avec un lit queen, l'autre avec deux lits jumeaux, peuvent accueillir confortablement 4 personnes. Il est possible de se rendre à pied depuis Oak Bluffs (1. 6 miles) ou Vineyard Haven (2. 0 miles) et le terminal de ferry, et avec la piste cyclable et la ligne de bus VTA à deux pas de votre porte, vous pourrez facilement profiter de votre séjour dans ce Martha's Vineyard Cottage avec ou sans voiture. Si vous préférez venir avec votre voiture, il y a un grand parking dans la rue pour 2 véhicules ou 1 véhicule avec une remorque pour bateaux. Apportez vos propres vélos et kayaks ou louez-les auprÚs de pourvoiries à proximité à Vineyard Haven et Oak Bluffs.

We could not ask for a better stay. The host was prompt, professional, and thoughtful about how guests would make use of the experience. The cottage was perfect for the two of us and our pup. We appreciated having the extras such as a washer and dryer and well equipped kitchen.

Oak Bluffs is a great location on the Island, and this home was a perfect retreat for me. It was well-maintained and fully equipped with everything I needed. Comfortable bed, and peaceful setting. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive, and I loved my time staying in this home!

The Arrowsmith cottage and its owners checked every box. Location was fantastic and close to everything, property was well maintained and spotless on check-in, and the service and communication from the owners was super and very responsive, the accuracy of the listing and provided linens and kitchen supplies were great.

A Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Arrowsmith Cottage in early July 2025. The property is tucked away on a quiet side street, yet it’s incredibly well located—just a short drive from both ferry terminals, directly on the bike path, and only a 3–5 minute walk from public bus stops. There’s also a beach nearby, easily reachable by a short bike ride or a 10–15 minute walk.The home was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials. All appliances (TV, washer/dryer, A/C, etc.) were in good working order. The hosts have thoughtfully provided detailed instructions throughout the property for using the equipment, and they were impressively responsive—answering our questions in near real-time during the first couple of days of our stay.We would gladly consider staying here again on a future trip to Martha’s Vineyard.

Peace and Calm on Martha's Vineyard.

We enjoyed the many walking areas and the pre-season quiet of the island. The townships on the island have their own individual atmosphere and quality. Our first stay there has made us look forward to another one next year.

Perfect cottage

Arrowsmith Cottage was in a perfect location for our visit, in close proximity to Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. Everything we needed was available in the Cottage (and exactly where you guessed it should be). Highly recommend!

Comfortable, cozy cottage

Arrowsmith Cottage was the perfect little place for our weekend getaway to the Vineyard! Our little family of 3 was very comfortable in the space. It's spotlessly clean, and very well appointed with everything we needed. Carol and Ted were very communicative, and thought of everything to make sure our stay was perfect. The location was nice and quiet, and it was just a short drive away from everything we wanted to do during our stay. We hope to return soon!

Perfect Cottage!

Wow, where do I begin. My husband and I planned a short honeymoon to MV after our September 1 wedding. This was our first trip to the island and we couldn't have asked for anything more. I corresponded with Carol and Ted once or twice before arriving and they answered all of our questions. Check-in was ready and included keyless access to the cottage in Oak Bluffs. I'm terms of location, we were minutes from absolutely everything. This made it easy to travel by car to all six communities on MV. Visiting in mid-September added to the joy of our trip. The weather was perfect and we visited three beaches, many restaurants, and some of the local attractions. Our accomodations were perfect, too. The cottage was well appointed with everything we needed and cooking dinner was made easy by having everything we needed at our disposal. While Stop & Shop is close by, Tony's is a about five minute drive from the house and they have all you'll need. Sitting on the front porch for breakfast, coffee, or to watch the sunset is a must. Arrowsmith Cottage is the perfect home away from home. We've already corresponded with Carol about returning next year! Enjoy!!!

Wonderful Long weekend

We had a very nice stay at the Arrowsmith's cottage. It was comfortable and impeccably clean. It came very well stocked with everything you could need. It has easy access to oak Bluffs and is just a short ride to Edgartown. We certainly would recommend the house to anyone visiting Martha's vineyard

Enjoyed the cleanliness and coziness of the cottage ! Very peaceful. Met up with daughters, niece and nephew at Norton Point Beach - 4 different days. Love that drive-on beach ! Enjoyed spending time with the teenagers in the group 😊 - they grew up so fast. Enjoyed shopping and dining in downtown Oak Bluffs and in Edgartown . Week went by too fast !

Lovely cottage for family of 4

We had a wonderful time at Carol and Ted’s cottage! My husband and I went with our two kids (4 and 2) and our small dog. The cottage was clean, quaint and comfortable. There were lawn chairs and sand toys to borrow. It was a convenient location as we were able to bike to Oak Bluffs and Tisbury. Would recommend to families!

Amazing Stay

This is one of the best properties on island. It's convenient to both Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. It's perfectly suited for a family of 4 with everything you need (and nothing "extra" to clutter the home). We can't wait to stay again!

Lovely Getaway

This was our first time at Martha's Vineyard, and we were so pleased to have found this place. It is conveniently located, well-kept, and well-organized. The hosts were very responsive and provided great information. Having admired bell hooks, I felt like I was a part of her legacy--if only the walls could talk! Because of our relatively short stay, we decided not to bring our car, and the ferry and Uber worked just fine. We had great food, a wonderful 3-hour tour of the island, and a fantastic getaway from our routine. Thank you for sharing this home with us.

Cozy cottage

This cozy cottage was the perfect spot for our family of 4! The location is great, close to Oak Bluffs and convenient to exploring the rest of the island. The home is clean and stocked with everything we needed. The screened in back porch was a great place to start and finish our day.

I was very happy with the place and the location. Everything was very comfortable. The host even contacted me when we left about a dog toy we left behind and we were able to pick it up since it was the dogs favorite toy!

We are lifelong New Englanders with family ties in Connecticut, although we spend most of our time here on island enjoying everything that makes Martha's Vineyard a truly unique and magical place. Managing our rental cottage here has brought us many new experiences and new friends, and we look forward to hosting travelers to this beautiful island for years to come.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We first visited the Vineyard many years ago for a family vacation and instantly fell in love with the island. Following many seasons of renting through Vrbo as guests ourselves, we eventually purchased a modest home in Vineyard Haven to call our own. We were later very fortunate to also find this charming Oak Bluffs cottage. We are very excited to share this sweet cottage with our guests so that they may also discover and enjoy all the natural beauty, cultural diversity, fun and adventure that Martha's Vineyard has to offer.

We love this cottage for it's simple charm, its proximity to down-island amenities, its closeness to the beach, bike path and bus route, and for its uncluttered and efficient layout and ample storage space which allows us to easily provide our guests with pretty much everything anyone could need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay on beautiful Martha's Vineyard.
