We enjoyed a lovely 6 days at Adamâs house. Itâs spacious, convenient to town, and a well-maintained home. At one point we were a group of 8 and while we were busy exploring Marthaâs Vineyard, when we got back to the house everyone had enough room to relax and get some sleep. It was a lovely base from which to enjoy the island. The air conditioning was perfect and in the evening we enjoyed working on a puzzle in the game room. Checking in was easy and Adam responded quickly to any questions. We couldnât have asked for more. Thank you for a great vacation!
This vacation home is amazing! So spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect! The Host was excellent and so responsive to any questions that we had and was so accommodating. By far the best rental experience we have ever had.
The property was fantastic for us 4 girls, 2 of us celebrating milestone birthdays!! Easy walk to Main Street, ferry terminal close and local bus transit very accessible and got us around the Island. We were going to bring a car, but didnât, and did quite well without it!!
Thank you!!
Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. Amazing location, close to Vineyard Haven (walkable). Close to Tisbury Town beach and Tashmoo beach( use a high clearance, AWD vehicle. Amazing master bath. Great A/C, great cool breezes at night. Lovely shaded sunroom, so there are 2 indoor areas to relax in, plus the porch. Highly recommend!
Nice location in a residential neighborhood, away from the crowds and still close enough to everything. We met here for a family vacation with our adult children, grandchildren and dog. The two bedrooms upstairs were perfect for the parents and little kids, which shares an upstairs bathroom with full tub. The main floor master bedroom had a beautiful en-suite. There was plenty of space for the little ones to spread out and play, and the sunroom was perfect for them while the adults did a bit of work each morning. Both the front and back porches were great hangouts for reading, working and relaxing. The house was set up with everything we needed, including beach chairs and beach toys, bikes, umbrellas, etc. It was warm and welcoming, and easily accommodated all of our chaos. It was a beautiful place to make beautiful memories and we look forward to returning someday.
Adam and his wife were perfect hosts! They were so accommodating, accessible and understanding. We thank you so much for such a beautiful stay. A peaceful oasis and we definitely will rent again đâ€ïž
This house was perfect. Clean, great layout, great location. We stayed for Beach Road Weekend and couldnât have asked for more. Short walk yo town, easy access to ferry and everything we needed. The house was clean and in good shape. We had a great time and plan to stay here again.
Great location. Quiet street. Very clean and plenty of space. Perfect for our group of 5, including 2 kids under 5 and an 80 year old. Super hosts. Highly recommended.
We were on MV for a wedding in Edgartown. The location of the house suited us well as we could easily walk into Vineyard Haven and the trip to Edgartown was very easy. House was clean and very comfortable. We had a great time
THIS summer home is absolutely the BESTplace to stay while at Martha's Vineyard! The description of the listing was 100% accurate! The house was located perfectly to allow easy access to ALL areas around MV. SO many extras in the home to make the stay so comfortable. The home was also so large with many different areas that even though we were a large party, we never felt like we were on top of one another! The kids played in the large yard for hours! The kitchen was FULLY stocked with everything you need! The communication between us and the property owners was amazing! We also decided to pay the extra fee for linens and we had more than enough! Plus there were beach towels! 100% recommend!
A group of friends had a great stay at this well equipped home! All the furniture was comfy. Good beds and linens. Nicely decorated. The kitchen was super well equipped! We loved the location! Owner was easy communicator!
The host was very accommodating. He made it a point to create a faq guide listing transportation, restaurants and things to do on the island. The home had many beds with beach chairs and bikes and all were available for the guests to enjoy. Very close to restaurants and town too.
We enjoyed our stay at the house but 1 person was a caterer. The kitchen was amazing. It held ALL the conveniences of home including a Kitchenaid mixer. Everything was comfortable and convenient to Oak Bluffs.
The property was exactly as we expected it to be. Communication with Adam was phenomenal. He allowed us to check in early, and provided a list of activities and places for us to visit. This was our first trip to Marthaâs Vineyard, and we are already planning our next!
The road to the house was very bumpy but once we arrived we had high expectations. However, when we entered the house and we began to put things away in the kitchen we realized most of the lightbulbs were burned out. This was not the only room where this was occurring. Next we looked at some of the appliances. The knob on the dishwasher fell on the floor. The microwave door not only open side to side but seem to be able to open up and down which didnât seem correct. Then we discovered that the old sponge in the kitchen had a lot of dark hairs on it. We do not have dark hair and our hair is not long. The counters were very dirty and when we wiped them down our cloth was black. I was wearing a pair of white socks that were black after walking around in the house. Other issues that came up involve the furniture. One of the ladies felt like the rocking chair was going to fall apart if she tried to rock. The upstairs bathroom had a towel rack that kept falling on the floor because that was not screwed on. The towel rings in the downstairs bathroom were also loose. Overall the entire house could have used a good cleaning. We saw cobwebs, dirt, long black hair in a number of places, and although the vegetation was lovely we thought it was a little overgrown, especially when we saw a skunk walking across the back deck. And we were a little nervous on the day we were leaving as the skunk smell was very pervasive.
The house was perfect! Six of us stayed at the property and there were plenty of beds and space to spread out. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had an assortment of amenities, and everything was extremely clean. Adam was always very responsive leading up to the trip as well as during it when we had a couple questions for check out. Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful house in a great neighborhood. Nicely decorated with so many great details-artwork, antiques, beautiful deck and porch! Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were large. Great extras like high end appliances, bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, etc. we loved everything about this house. Owner was friendly, helpful and very responsive.
The house and property were great. The house is big and roomy and is well-equipped with kitchen appliances and cookware. TV had cable, all bedrooms had working ACâs. Adam was very responsive when I reached out to him. Very comfortable property.
This was our first real vacation since the start of the pandemic, and we couldnât have picked a better spot to explore all the island can offer. With tweens and teens, we appreciated the spaciousness of the home, the quiet outdoor space, and the easy access to shops and food. It was a real bonus to be able to borrow beach chairs and bikes to cut down on how much stuff we had to bring.
I grew up in Chestnut Hill, MA - a suburb located about 15 minutes West of Boston. After graduating from Boston University, I started my career in marketing in New York City. It was in NYC where I met my future wife, Nicole. Though we both loved NYC, we knew we were ready for a change. When Nicole got accepted into the Kellogg Business School at Northwestern, it was apparent that Chicago would be our next destination. Shortly after our arrival in Chicago, Nicole and I got married. And in October of 2012 we had our first child Julian, or 'Jude' - inspired by my adoration of the Beatles. We love Chicago (although we miss NYC) and we're fortunate to have family in the Chicago area with whom we're very close.
Each year for the past 15 years, we anxiously await the arrival of the warm New England months to embark upon our summer get-away. Despite growing up in the western suburbs of Boston, I hadn't actually visited Martha's Vineyard until well into adulthood. Many of my summers were spent at Summer camp in the Berkshires. During high school and college, perhaps due to my family's NY roots, we tended to vacation in the Hamptons over the summers. So, it wasn't until my mother bought the property in 2000 that I fell in love with the Island and subsequently this home. The home with it's spacious floor plan and warm, island aesthetic has provided family, friends, and guests with lots of fond summer memories. And with the recent arrival of our first child, Julian, we look forward to creating more memories for our growing family.
