ORCA BEACH HIDEAWAY EST UNE MAISON PRIVÉE AU BORD DE L'EAU AVEC 3 CHAMBRES AVEC UNE VUE EXTENSIVE DES MONTAGNES OLYMPIQUES ET DU DÉTROIT DE JUAN DE FUCA. Cette maison isolée île de San Juan propose un bain à remous, une piste à une belle plage de sable (rare dans les îles San Juan), une grande cour gazonnée et enrouler autour du pont, un poêle à bois, et une table de ping-pong. La situation particulière de cette maison offre marine observation de la faune de la maison, bain à remous et grande cour. Vous profiterez de magnifiques levers et couchers de soleil et des baleines qui nagent presque tous les jours en été!

La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec appareils en acier inoxydable et une gamme de Viking de gaz. La cuisine est ouverte sur la salle à manger et salon avec de grandes fenêtres donnant sur la mer. Le niveau principal de la maison dispose de 2 chambres, chacune meublée avec des lits queen size. La suite de maître à l'étage est meublée d'un lit queen size et dispose d'un balcon avec vue sur l'eau ainsi que d'une salle de bains principale attenante. Il y a aussi un lit d'enfant et un lit d'enfant disponible à l'étage pour ceux qui ont de jeunes enfants.

Le niveau inférieur de la maison propose des animations - table de ping-pong et une télévision écran plat avec un service par satellite. Cette maison offre également une connexion Internet sans fil.

Orca Beach Hideaway est situé à côté d'une plage insulaire unique (Eagle Cove), idéale pour la baignade, les bains de soleil, le skim board et le paddle board. et est facilement accessible depuis un sentier à proximité.

Great San Juan retreat

Location, Location, Location.....

We sat overlooking the Salmon Bank, watching seals, river otters, and orcas many times during our stay. It was a treat to have the neighborhood fox stop by, and look expectantly as us.........until it realized we were not going to feed it.American Camp is just down the road, and offers great hiking and biking trails.Though older, and in need of screens on some of the windows, the rental more than met our needs.

The American Camp next door provides endless paths to walk on. The house itself is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table and jacuzzi. We even got a sighting of the beautiful red fox with the big bushy tail who came by the house looking for a little breakfast. Truly a treat and a home i would return to.

Perfect Family Island Getaway

We stayed for four days with our family of 8. We have 6 kids ages 11 and under. The location of the Eagle Cove beach was wonderful. Extremely easy walk for all ages. It was also an easy drive to all island destinations. I originally was concerned about the cliff in the photo. If you have young children that wander or don’t listen, that might be stressful. Due to the ages of our children it was no issue. We loved the views, hot tub, outdoor eating area, games (monopoly was of course a hit), seeing the foxes and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfy and rooms were clean. The check out time would benefit from an 10:30 or 11am timing, which seems to be a consistent feedback from reviewers. We did appreciate that even though it said you’d get fined arriving before 4pm for check in, that we received a text that it was ready early. All in all we’d stay there again and recommend it to others. Thank you!

Beautiful location, great house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Orca Beach Hideaway was as advertised - located on a bluff overlooking Eagle Cove, you can't ask for better views and location. A quick 12 minute trip to Friday Harbor for your grocery needs and shopping/dining, yet you still felt utterly secluded. The walks/hikes around the property were great and offered stellar views as well. Downstairs was kept quite snug by the gas heater and the ping pong table was quite fun.The property itself was a mix of updated and outdated appliances / furniture. For instance, there is a Wolf brand range, nice sink / refrigerator, but an outdated oven / microwave combo. The bathrooms (countertops, shower) were older as well. The hottub was an older model, with no digital readout. The first night we turned the hottub on we arrived to it being 110 when we tried to get in - which is a dangerous level. Modern hottubs won't allow a temperature over 106.Overall we enjoyed the property. Finishing the update of appliances/countertops and a king size bed would have brought it to a 5 star rating.

Threadbare house, incredible view

Sincerely appaled by the positive reviews for this property. I'll be the first to say it, then: this home is a dirty overpriced disappointment. We knew this was an older home/ikea rental situation and chose to book it for the view. Everything was wiped down and serviceable, but considering the exorbitant cleaning fee, we expected a nicer stay. Everything felt a bit grimy and neglected. Baseboards peeling from walls with dust and bits of dead bugs, chipping and stained furniture, etc. The master bath jets were caked with mystery green grime, so no bath for baby. The house has no AC and one small slow ceiling fan. The master bedroom sliding door is inoperable so cooling down the upstairs is impossible in the evening. The house is in full sun all day, beware if you are booking during any weather above 75. The view is the best part, but trying to keep the house cool means window curtains drawn. The only outdoor furniture is two adirondak chairs, and they were so overgrown with grass and weeds they were unusable. The lawn was studded with spiky weeds and huge balls of lawn trimmings were dried and matted everywhere. The driveway entrance is overgrown so we couldn't safely pull our truck camper in to park without taking out huge branches. The host/company has a list of chores to do before you leave, absolutely greedy given how high the cleaning fee is. The dishes smelled foul. We would not stay here again, given the price with the cleaning fee we expected much better.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My Husband and I had the most needed romantic vacation in this home. The views were incredible! We enjoyed the hottub every morning while watching the ocean. We took walks down to the beach. We found the "secret" entrance to the hiking trails at the end of the street. We especially enjoyed the wild life trail through the property. We saw River Otters, raccoons, deer,Bald eagles and few Orcas. The ping pong table kept us quite busy. I have to mention the well appointed kitchen. Especially the Wolf stove was fantastic. I one thing I missed was a TV on the main floor.

Reviewer Comments: We loved the location, within walking distance for hikes and beaches.The yard was large, the hot tub was terrific, hot and ready all the time. The kitchen was very well equipped. We saw orca whales swimming by the house. Two different fox came to visit in the evenings. We took full advantage of all the area has to offer: a short drive to both Roche Harbor and Friday Harbor to wander through the town and have something to eat, the Alpaca Farm, a whale watching tour and more. The house itself had plenty of room for our family of 6. We stayed a week, it was a wonderful experience!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful property, beautiful views. Looked just like the photos. The house fit our group of 6 just fine. 2 nights was perfect. My only complaints are the check in time in late and check out time is early, 4 PM and 10 AM (10 AM check out is a little too early!). And, the over the top extra fees that the rental agency and house owner charges. $300 cleaning fee. $150 non-refundable damage waiver fee. $150 pandemic cleaning fee, $600 in total fees just to clean the house for a two night stay was in short, insane. Really nice stay though.

Spectacular Views

Amazing spot! Comfortable, clean home

We had a wonderful time here. The house was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and even had a really well seasoned cast iron skillet that was a joy to use. In other reviews, people mentioned the sparse decor, but for a family with small children, this was absolutely perfect. The house has a spectacular view and they have a telescope and binoculars there to use. We had a great time checking out the stars and the wildlife. While we were there we saw sea lions, a bald eagle family, and a whale! The property is right next door to eagle cove beach which was incredible. The path leading down to the water isn’t paved but was definitely manageable for our 2 year old and 3 year old. Overall, I’d highly recommend a stay here and we hope to be back in the future!

The house is clean and well cared for, and is stocked with everything we needed for our short stay. I particularly enjoyed the solitude and proximity to the beach. The views are spectacular and the hustle of Friday Harbor is close but not too close. I can't wait to spent time here again!
