Profitez de ce chalet calme et confortable au bord de l’eau, en face du parc national historique British Camp, avec de superbes vues sur la mer depuis chaque fenêtre et de magnifiques levers de soleil. La chambre principale dispose d'un lit queen et une salle de bain complète adjacente à la porte de la chambre. Un quai de 30 'est à la disposition des clients, ainsi qu'une bouée supplémentaire pour amarrer votre bateau si vous avez besoin d'eau plus profonde. (La fosse septique ne peut supporter que deux (2) personnes utilisant les installations, donc pas plus de deux (2) invités à la fois.) NOTE: à partir du printemps 2020, il y aura des travaux de construction à côté de cette propriété. * *

Cette propriété est située sur une impasse privée qui traverse la baie depuis le camp anglais. Apportez des kayaks et des planches à pagaie pour profiter pleinement de cette cabine au bord de l’eau. English Camp propose des kilomètres de sentiers, dont une vue imprenable du sommet de Young Hill. ** NOTE: À partir du printemps 2020, il y aura des travaux de construction à côté de cette propriété. **

Vous constaterez que cette location est l’endroit idéal pour passer une semaine romantique ou se détendre après une vie trépidante. Simple, propre et confortable ... nous savons que vous aurez du mal à partir.

Faites cuire les palourdes, le crabe et les huîtres sur le barbecue au propane en plein air. Pour les pêcheurs, il existe une station de nettoyage du poisson au sommet du quai. Sur une courte distance, vous pouvez acheter des huîtres à la ferme ostréicole située à Westcott Bay, qui sont expédiées dans le monde entier. La ferme ostréicole a également un quai pour les clients et est une pagaie courte ou un moteur. Vous pouvez également vous y rendre en empruntant un nouveau sentier depuis English Camp.

Anniversary Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay was above and beyond. Right on the water. Enjoyed watching seals and birds each day. Cottage was perfect for two people. Had everything we needed. Minutes away from both Roche Harbor and Friday Harbor, visited both island lighthouses.

Birthday/Relaxation Getaway

Wonderful little cabin! Gorgeous view of the water and beautiful, sceanic area! It was a very lovely and cozy stay. One surprise was that although a dishwasher is listed and present, there is a sign saying that we couldnt use the dishwasher and had to handwash the dishes which I been hoping to avoid. Overall lovely trip and highly recommend!

Quiet, Cozy and exquisitely beautiful!

This place was easy to get to and during this time of year felt like it was out of the way like the area was all to ourselves. Gorgeous views of the small bay and English Camp. Close to Roche Harbor. Place was clean and cozy. Plenty of birds to watch. We intend to come back again!

Great little spot on the water in a quiet nook of the island. Ed and Cindy own the place and live next door, they are super nice and hospitable! Really made our stay feel welcoming and enjoyable! Would stay here again

Garrison Bay paradise

We loved the location! Right on Garrison Bay overlooking English camp. So peaceful and clean. Loved the patio and getting to eat breakfast and dinner and have a glass of wine in such a beautiful setting. Very quiet for the most part. The home was quite small but still larger than your standard hotel/motel room and so much more inviting. We would love to stay here again.

Cabin time!

Great stay at the cabin! It was secluded, clean and cozy. Lots of time watching seals play around in the water and checking out the birds. They had binoculars which made the bird and seal watching much more enjoyable. Close enough to drive to the other things on the island as well. Room for 2 adults comfortably.

Unexpected beauty in the PNW.

This property and location fit exactly what we wanted and needed. The view is breathtaking from inside the cabin and the patio is amazing!! There is plenty to do on the island if that is what you are wanting. If you want to escape and just relax, this is the perfect location. Look forward to coming back next year.

Wonderful Short Getaway

It was a wonderful stay with wonderful views. A very relaxing mini vacation for us. The only complaint is the bed was uncomfortable for us but it is not an uncomfortable bed simply too soft for our liking. The owners were pleasant and always nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Romantic getaway

We truly loved the atmosphere and how easy to place your kayak on the water and head out . Such a beautiful scenery. We did have 2 days of Very low water pressure but we did fine .

Cute cabin in serene location!

We had a wonderful, relaxing getaway at this cute cabin! The location was perfect for us— peaceful and quiet right on the water. The kitchen was well equipped (of note: only a coffee Keurig, no coffee maker!). The tv was dialed in, but we had only brought a set of cards for the rainy weekend. To future stayers- bring board games if you need inside entertainment! Overall, a great place and we loved our stay!

Cozy Cabin for Two!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this cute little hideaway on San Juan Island. It was such a treat with great views, a very functional kitchen, and a great use of such a small space. The only thing I would change is I wish the windowed doors had curtains over them for privacy (especially the back door). It is also a little far from Friday Harbor, but that just made for some fun driving around the island every day.

BEAUTIFUL!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived it exceeded our expectations. Stepping onto the little patio watching the seals, otters, and boats we immediately felt ourselves breath. The bed was so comfortable it was very clean and we had everything we needed. We definitely left a little piece of our heart there. Garrison Bay was truly magical.

Pros: secluded neighborhood, waterfront, well-stocked, nice back patio with fire pit, quiet part of the island. Cons: no drapes/blinds on doors (very bright in the morning, no privacy), no bedroom door, not private (present owner lives next door), loud construction noise, inconsistent messaging (sign says hand wash dishes but they left dishwasher tabs on the counter), parking very difficult, mattress caves in the center.

Quiet scenic retreat

This stay was very good overall - excellent for 2 people. The view, the privacy, the peace and quiet, and the quality of the kitchen and bath wares were all appreciated. The wifi internet connection was solid and fast. Instructions and guidance on the cabin and water usage were good to see and accessing the cabin was straight-forward. The bed is soft as reported in other reviews but that’s a matter of personal preference. For cyclists, the last 200m of the access road is dirt and steep so be prepared to walk bikes that last distance. For kayakers, launching in the bay would be easy - the next time we visit we will certainly rent some kayaks. To save water, we used a pot in hand-washing dishes - a dishwashing tub that would fit in the sink would be a minor addition to the kitchen wares. It would have been nice to have met the owners to express our thanks in person. All in all, this was a little gem of a stay and we hope to return one day.

Wonderful Location Right on the Water!

We thoroughly enjoyed the location right on the water. If the weather had been dry we would have sat our there for hours. We utilized the access for a quick kayak ride around Guss Island (about 1 mile round trip). The quaint little home is exactly what we expected in size and was wonderful. We wisely took a foldable table in order to do some puzzles. There isn't much room for a table, but we figured it out. We had to call the management company due to a very uncomfortable first night of sleep that ended with one of us on the couch. We don't think it was the mattress per se, but for sure the unstable/old box spring (or also the metal frame?). After putting the mattress directly on the floor, all our mattress problems stopped (thanks for coming to remove the box spring). We were a little surprised by the lack of privacy with the next door home (I think they are the owners of the home we were in), but it looks like they are currently working on some plantings (bushes and trees) that will likely improve that. Overall we loved the place and would come back. If the bed situation was the same, we would more quickly get the mattress on the floor.

A Pearl on the Oyster Bed Shores of Garrison Bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the minute I crowned the hill and saw the beautiful cottage on the shore, I knew I was in for a lovely. long weekend. With darling shingled exterior and only 20 feet from the shore - the place was a quintessential island getaway. Inside I found a nice galley kitchen which provided everything I needed. I did buy some sea salt in a grinder which I hope is still there for others to use. The kitchen overlooks the living area with comfy sofa. good sized screen to cast your various streaming apps to, and a lovely gas fireplace. (Know that you need to get down on your hands and knees to toggle the switch up to turn the fireplace on... a bit cumbersome.) Sitting on the sofa, you look out over beautiful Garrison Bay and feel as though you are on a float over the water. Sooooo wonderful. The bedroom had open shelving an a few hooks to hang things on. As you're in the islands, no need to bring clothes that require hangers! Outside there are two paver patios, the one on the water side sporting two Adirondack chairs and cute portable fire pit. (BYOW... bring your own wood.) Wishing it had been a bit better weather so I could have enjoyed the patio - but that just means I'll need to come back again during warmer months. Side note - I met the owner on one of my trips back from town. He was delightful with such an interesting story of how he and his wife wound up with the property. (They live next door to the cottage.) If you are searching for a tranquil, waterfront place in the islands, search no further! You'll be glad you booked the Garrison Bay Hideaway.

Great place for a quiet getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a week in November and had a great time. The location is wonderful! It is really calming to see the tides come in and out, watch otters, seals, kingfishers out of the window while enjoying a morning coffee. The place is well equipped I would say, but some things are missing (e.g. a tea pot), and the kitchen utensils are starting to show their age. Potable water is limited on the island, so this is not the place to go if you want many long hot showers. We really liked it, would definitely stay there again.
