Futon was taken out! No fooze ball for game! The two back bedrooms need hooks in wall or rack over the door for hanging clothes! Smallest bedroom needs a screen on window! Upstairs bedroom and bathroom doors could use some WD 40 on the hinges and some sanding on the bathroom door! Very noisy when sleeping! These are miner things but would have made it a bit nicer! Also the closets in the two front bedrooms need something for odor!
Our vacation rental at 242 12th Ave in Seaside, OR, was fantastic! The space was spotless and well-maintained, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to various shops and restaurants, making it easy to enjoy all the area has to offer. Highly recommend it for a relaxing and convenient getaway!
Location was great. It was easy to communicate with the owner of the property. Everything was pretty straightforward. We enjoyed our family vacation. Definitely recommend this property.
There was plenty of room for everyone! I loved the easy walk to the beach and we walked to town a couple times each day. Check on and check out was simple. I would stay here again!
Beautiful house, great location, the hosts are amazing to work with and very helpful. I had a problem with the washer and called and she came right over to look at it. Clean house. Will definitely rent again when we come back!
Wonderful house for our family of six plus sister and her husband and brother. 9 of us had plenty of room to be together and some alone time. Back patio was enjoyed by all. Close to beach and town. Definitely a comfortable home, reasonably priced, and worth another visit. Love our time here.
Clean, very open & comfortable. Great location. Back deck awesome. Only a suggestion would of been to have coffee available at least enough for one pot in the morning.
The location of this property makes for a nice walk to the beach. The house is stocked well with the necessary items to prepare meals. There is plenty of beds and blankets for a large group and also 3 sofas for plenty of seating. The property is kept up well inside and out. The only item not there was a wire brush to clean the BBQ. Our family had a wonderful stay.
My family of 7 ranging from 12-53 stayed here. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the beach. You could walk to the shops if you wanted. The house was clean and fun. House is just like the listing. No surprises. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Last Minute Getaway with Friends, Family, and a few Co-workers
This house was perfect for our last-minute getaway to the beach with Friends, Family, and a few Co-workers. The process was simple, and office staff was very respectful & responsive with our questions and met all our needs during our stay. The house is so close to the beach, and a quick walk to town. We really enjoyed the outdoor space with the new patio furniture & BBQ. The house exceeded all our expectations, we will be back and recommend to all our friends. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.
Thank you,
Peyton English
We had a blast at this property during our Spring Break quick trip to the beach. We cooked, watched movies, played games and played at the beach. It is an older house, with lots of character. The mattress are amazing - they are new and the NovaForm 14-inch mattresses - the same ones we have at home. We had a great night sleep which really helped!
Sharon & Lisa in the office were awesome, and answered any questions we had and were very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again, and with Oceanside Vacation Rentals. Thank you for letting us stay here, we will be back!
This house provided very adequate facilities for 5 adults, 2 teens and 1 preteen The foosball table and basketball court were big hits as well as a large living room for electronic games and board games. It is easy access to the beach and the boardwalk. The bathtub drained very slowly after a shower and the dishwasher door isn't working well. Was very difficult to close/lock. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and the weather was excellent.
My family had a wonderful time and we're hoping to rent it again next year. Our friends who saw the house want to rent it sometime as well.
One comment however, the driveway is very dark at night and without any light I didn't see the brick housing near the driveway fencing. I tripped and had a nasty fall. I suggest putting solar ground lighting or something that will keep others from falling as well.
We found out the day before check in certain amenities such as basketball & bbq may not be available, which were not. The fireplace didnt work. The foosball table didnt work & took up a whole room where there was a pull out couch but no room to pull it out. The washer dial was broken. The huge dining table was nice but was placed in the small kitchen with no room to work around it. It would have been nice to have it by the big picture window where there was ample room. TV in bedroom didnt work. We had to load things on the main tv. There were movies but no way to play them. The location was nice but the house was creepy. The small view of the ocean was nice as well as the back deck. Location is why it got the stars that it did. Would not stay there again
We really enjoyed our time here. The location is great! Close to the beach and a short walk down the prom to the heart of Seaside. The house had plenty of room for our large group and is well stocked. (Although new knives are needed) We enjoyed all the windows in the living room for doing puzzles, the kids loved the sand toys and basketball hoop in the back. On sunny days the patio out back is wonderful. The house is older and quirks come with age. The house is very noisy upstairs when you walk, there is no sneaking around in this house and very little privacy as the doors donât latch. We never could get the temperature right upstairs. We all roasted up there even with the heat turned way down. It was nice to open the windows but could have used a few fans up stairs. There is also a lack of outlets but for an older house it wasnât surprising. Over all we were very comfortable and really enjoyed our time there!
We traveled to Seaside to celebrate the 4th of July. The location of the house was amazing - just half a block to the end of the Prom and the beach access. It was a half mile walk to Broadway, so we did occasionally drive down there, but it was always easy to find parking. The house was spacious, the kitchen was fully stocked, and we were all comfortable.
A couple things to be aware of - the street is VERY busy. It ends in a public parking lot and the beginning of the Prom so there was CONSTANT vehicle and foot traffic past our house. People sometimes partially blocked our driveway trying to edge their cars into partial spaces. There was people talking, dogs barking, and motocycles revving at all hours of the day and night. If you're sensitive to noise, this might not be the right street.
Luckily, it didn't really bother us and our stay was perfect. Thanks!
Very nice location at the end of the promenade. The house is spacious and has a nice kitchen. There were a lot of sand toys and a basketball net. Mirrors are rather low and thereâs no AC as is typical for the PNW. We had a great stay.
Close to beach and a quiet location.Plenty of room to accommodate 2 families. We had more girls staying so ran out of toilet paper quickly, and had to run to store to buy amenities with other kitchen items. Overall, love the response from the owners, clean house, and beds were comfortable (plus). A strainer in the kitchen was missing to wash veggies and pasta.
Everything was as described in the messages from the host. I do think the Vrbo needs a little updating for this listing as far as grill and a few minor other things. The host contacted us about a potential tsunami and handled any questions we had immediately.
