It was very peaceful and great. Do wish the backyard had grass instead of sand. I get it youâre by the ocean. It would be nice to have maps with attractions near by also those that donât know what garbage can is recycle or trash. Great accommodation. I would stay there again.
Overall it was a good house for a weekend beach trip. House layout was odd as there was a room and bathroom in the garage. I would say for the price it was a good deal
Really everything we needed. Spacious, literally 3 houses from the beach, and what really put it over the top, a ping-pong table. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! Thanks for everything.
Very nice sized facility. The beds were wonderful - just the right firmness. The only problem was the quantity of sand present inside the facility when we got there. We even vacuumed at least every 2nd day to try to keep it under reasonable control but I guess that is just what happens with a sand pit back yard.
An outside gas BBQ would have been convenient.
Nice location and plenty of space for the seven of us. Kitchen was well stocked for preparing a variety of meals. The heating didn't work in the main bedroom, but only our first of three nights was cold enough to need it.
I have stayed in this house with a few other couples and we enjoyed it. Very comfortable. But they need to replace two of their dining chairs. they were broken when I got there and my fingers got pinched when scooting them close to the table.also, there were leftover food items in the cupboards that should have been thrown out.
Property manager very responsive, excellent customer service. Property was perfect for our needs, ping pong table provided lots of entertainment along with a wide selection of books/short stories. Could use one more dinner chair, but made use of a stool. Very close to beach. Kitchen decently stocked and big fridge.
There were four adults and one teenage girl. Also, we had three dogs. The backyard was fully fenced, a bit, Sandy, but OK there were more than enough beds, couldâve slept eight and there were only five of us. The only thing the House didnât have was a cupcake tin, but other than that we found everything. We will be back for sure, as it is close enough to the beach for us old ladies to make it down there and back quite comfortably. Aaron, the after hours and weekend manager was awesome. Thanks again we really love the place.
Great location, clean little place for holiday get together
It's a cute well appointed beach house for families with kids. We were a little concerned from reading previous reviews but rest assured there were no termites or ants in site despite this being the high season for ants in oregon. Every thing was clean, the little mother-in-law apartment on the back was great for the grandparents to sleep in when the kiddos woke up early to play games. Even had a shower stool for bathing and not many stairs. Perfect for mixed mobility large family get together. Thanks!
The house was clean and had all the things that we needed. Good size for a few families to stay with quick beach access.
A few issues is that there is no light in the backyard and itâs very dark. Thereâs also a gross smell when the wind changes. Besides that everything was great.
Great location, pet friendly but lacking in some waysâŠâŠ
Great location and pretty easy walk to the beach. All the beds were very comfy! Good communication was had and we had a quick response and solution the first night due to a missing BBQ. Within the hour a new charcoal bbq showed up. Now for the not so great partsâŠ. Strange smell through the house and when we tried to open all the windows to air it out, there were many that did not open. All the blinds were pretty dirty, and there was mold in the windowsills. The outside shower was only a shower-head attached to a hose, which did have hot and cold, but was broken. There were a few coffee makers available however one was broken and the other two I would not use due to the dirtiness. There was plenty of utensils to use for food prep and serving, which was nice. Overall, itâs very dated. The bathroom in the main house had mold on the sliding shower doors, which I know is hard to keep clean, but as a rental, I would maybe put a little more effort in. We had plenty of sheets and towels. We found sand in two of the beds leading out to the deck on top and inside the sheets. The backyard is basically a big sandpit so if youâre expecting a nice grassy backyard, youâll be disappointed. There were spiderwebs throughout, and the cleanliness was definitely lacking.Overall, it wasnât a terrible experience, but due to the following issues, we probably wouldnât stay at this property. We were impressed with the communication that was had.
What you see in the photos is what you get. There were ample linens and dishes in the house, and the house was clean. It was a little unusual for us to have to stop at the property managerâs location to pickup and drop off the keys but the house was nearby so not too inconvenient. The tiny garbage can next to the house was already full when we checked in which was disappointing. The location to the beach was fantastic, easy walk a block north or south to a public access trail. The fenced backyard was also a plus for us. We have stayed at many VBRO in the past and have learned to bring everything with you for cooking/kitchen use, like napkins, spices (salt/pepper), ziplock bags, coffee filters, etc and this home was no exception. Overall, it was a good house and would stay there again.
There is a stale smell in the home and cob webs everywhere. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay. For older people maybe change thatâs its steps to the beach, itâs further than steps. We didnât mind the walk for our stay.
Thank you.
