It is made up of the villages of Pfarre, Welschellen, Zwischenwasser and the picturesque main town of St. Vigil at the foot of the Dolomites. Almost 1,300 inhabitants live in this picturesque mountain village at 1,200 metres above sea level. In summer for hiking, in winter for skiing on Kronplatz, one of the best ski areas in Europe, which can be reached directly from St. Vigil by lift.

The main town of Enneberg is also home to the Nature Park House, where visitors can find fascinating information on the formation of the Dolomites, fossils, Alpine pastures and the Conturines cave bears.
