Great location and wonderful view of the Gulf. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants, as well as all attractions in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area. The beach-front complex offers nice amenities that cater to families. But this makes it a little more crowded and noisy. Long waits for elevator at peak times. The unit is tired/dated looking with a few minor repairs needed here and there (GFIC plug in bathroom, loose closet doors) and it could use a good cleaning (mildew in shower, one window was very hazy). However, the unit was very comfortable, including the king bed. Kitchen was adequately equipped. Laundry (stack-able) worked well. Management communicated well and check-in/out was straight forward.Best part was the beautiful Gulf view from this 11th-floor unit.
Everything went as expected. Amazing view of the Ocean and pool. Very spacious living room, kitchen and dining room. Unit was clean and had all the necessary utensils. The pool here was larger than the pictures make it feel. Charcoal grills were solid. Very easy walk to the beach. I loved how quiet the place was. I would stay here again.
Love sitting on the balcony every morning drinking my coffee. We had a beautiful view. Grandson love the splash pad and two pools. When we got there, the television was all unplugged and was quite a mess so we had maintenance we had maintenance. Come fix it and everything was OK. We had a great time and hated to go home.
The unit was nice and well equipped but $55/week parking fee is steep. Not to mention, it took 30 minutes to stand in line just to purchase the pass. Just raise the rate of the room by $55 and include a pass!
Also, the elevators are SUPER slow. This unit is on the 11th floor and we ended up taking the stairs multiple times because the wait for the elevators was so long.
We drove from north Ga with is about a 6 hour drive. When we arrived which was a little after 4pm I tried to check in early (which usually isnt an issue, check in was 5pm) and was told our room was under "inspection" for covid19 protocol. We understood & went to wait in the car. Once it was close to 5 we loaded up a dolly to actually check in and proceed to our room. We get the the desk & the employee called someone to see if the room was ready (at 4:58) and was told the floors were just mopped and they would still be wet, that we should wait 20 mins before entering. Since we did have a little one with us we waited in the lobby and then continued to our room. As soon as we walked in we noticed how dirty the room was. There was clear as day crumbs on the floor, sand all over the area rug, dirt under the entertainment center that you could see when you sat on the couch. The windows and mirrors in the dining room were so smeared and even had hand marks from previous clients. Now if I wasnt forced to wait over an hour due to "cleaning" I probably wouldnt have minded as much. My biggest complaint about our stay was the bed. I am currently 7 months pregnant and the bed literally had me in pain within the first night. I actually ended up getting up at the crack of dawn because I couldnt stand it anymore. I slept on the couch (not the pull out) while my husband slept on the recliner for the rest of our stay. Also when we pulled out the bed on the couch it exploded with crumbs everywhere.
Now I will say the actual condo was very nice. The splash pad was a huge hit with our daughter and I would love to stay at the Phoenix again just not this room!
The unit was great. Very clean and exactly what was depicted in the listing. Property was great as well. Starting to get a bit dated.
We would certainly stay here again.
