Beach House Montie est situé à l'extrémité nord de Manhattan Beach. Louer la maison entière ou seulement le haut de deux chambres une salle de bain ou le fond d'une chambre une salle de bain. Le haut et le bas ont chacun leur propre cuisine, salle de bain et salon. Ils ont chacun leurs propres entrées privées. Ou les unités supérieure et inférieure peuvent être connectées en ouvrant les deux portes verrouillables pour la confidentialité, le convertissant en une maison de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain sur deux étages. La maison est dans la section de sable seulement 4 blocs de la plage et la piste cyclable Strand. Une marche rapide le long de la plage, vous arrive à la jetée de Manhattan Beach en 15 minutes environ. Promenez-vous au centre-ville de Manhattan Beach Starbucks ou le café de Peet pour votre matin Latte 'où vous trouverez de nombreux magasins et restaurants. Si vous préférez rester dans le quartier, vous trouverez au moins 8 excellents restaurants à 3 minutes à pied de la maison. La tablette en face du garage dispose d'un parking pour au moins trois voitures.

Montie was a great host. Excellent communication regarding check in process, etc. I would highly recommend his residence! We have stayed in other rentals and this in our opinion, has been the best!

Good space for family or two parties but beat up and needs maintenance

We selected this property for its proximity to a family member's home and didn't expect it to be luxurious, but were disappointed in its poor condition. Most concerning were the sliding door to the back patio, which was missing a latch and "secured" with a flimsy board that still permitted the door to open 6 inches, and a missing smoke alarm in the upstairs living area. When we connected with the owner just before check-in, he told us the ceramic soapdish in the upstairs shower and the handle to the downstairs frig had both JUST broken. And we had a pretty ugly plumbing issue our first afternoon there that flooded the downstairs bathroom with sewage from the toilet while taking a shower in the upstairs bathroom. The water in the entire house was turned off till the plumber could get there and clear the line to the street. (The plumber mentioned this was the second time this year he'd been called to do so.) In the owner's defense, he was quick to call a plumber. While he couldn't stay until the plumber arrived and assured us that we didn't have to stay either, we weren't comfortable leaving our things in a poorly secured home with various crews coming and going. The plumbers and cleaners did arrive within a couple of hours but the whole episode took more of our first day there than we'd have cared to spend on it. We also did the initial cleanup of the sewage which backed up from the toilet. I requested some reduction in the price of our 3 day stay but had no response from the owner. If you're looking for a home with this configuration and in this location, you could do worse, but don't expect too much. However we should all expect to be able to lock a unit when away and asleep, have prescribed safety features in place, and not expect to have a toilet back up when taking a shower (particularly when it had happened previously).

Great stay in Manhattan Beach!

Monte's house was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of space for everyone (we had 9 people for 2 of the 12 nights we were there), and if extra beds our needed, his 3 blow up mattresses are very comfortable! Great proximity to the beach, easily walkable, and Montie has all of the things you need (chairs, umbrellas, even a wagon) right there in the garage. He was readily available upon check in, and was easily accessible any time we had any questions. We definitely hope to stay at Montie's Beach house again! Thank you for everything, Montie...it was a great stay!

Great property for a family of 5 for a beach vacation, close to beach and restaurants. Stocked with boogie boards and bikes. Kitchen also well stocked with condiments. Montie was very responsive to all of our needs.

Great location, gracious host and wonderful stay.

Montie had thought of everything, from a well-equipped kitchen to loads of towels to multiple oscillating fans to keep us comfortable. We used the beach chairs, the boogie boards and the bikes during our stay. We'll definitely be back!!

Overall a pleasant place

UPSIDES: The home was clean and well-equipped. The beds/bedding were very comfortable. Although we did not cook, there were plenty of pots, etc to do so. TV was a 'smart tv'. which was nice. Parking for two cars was convenient. Noise level was very acceptable. DOWNSIDES: Not particularly convenient to 'downtown', although there were enough places to eat within walking distance. Needed to bicycle to downtown. The home was not particularly 'kid friendly' outside. On a narrow, well-traveled side street, there was no place for young children to play. There is no back yard, and no yard in front. Very tight housing on either side, and in back. Thus, no real privacy on the exterior of the home. We'd recommend for adults, but not particularly for kids. Luckily one of our children, has a home within walking to distance to downtown and the beach, although it is too small for the entire group. We spent most of our time there. We stay again, without kids!

Wonderful holiday.

Our family of 7 rented this house for a whole month. Its comfortable with Plenty of space for everyone. Elder boys enjoyed the space and freedom of the lower unit. Close to beach and lovely walk along the sea front to the pier. Eveything we needed was there i.e bikes,beach chairs , surfboards. Montie was great. We have rented many properties in LA through home away and this one dose not disapoint. Would definitley stay again. Thanks Montie.

Great place!

This was exactly what we were looking for and a great value. Montie was an excellent host and has the place stocked itch all of the necessities for a beach vacation. We highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay!

Units was clean, beach was close. The owner was very helpful. Made our get away perfect. Food on area is great. Just over all a wonderful home, location and time at the beach. We used both upstairs and downstairs unit for grandparents and son with 3 years old upstairs, our other son and his wife downstairs. Perfect fit for our family

Valentine's Fun

Bachelorette Weekend Success!

I rented this home to host a girls weekend getaway and I'm so happy I did! The house was the perfect size, very well equipped, and very clean. Also, there is plenty of parking space which is a huge plus in the Manhattan Beach area. The beach and various local restaurants are within walking distance just a couple of blocks away. The owner was very nice and easy to work with, he for sure made my first experience renting a vacation home a good one. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Manhattan Beach area and I would be more than happy to stay there again myself.

Excellent property in a perfect location!

My family and I rented this home and had a fantastic experience. This was my first time renting a property online and I am very happy I did. The owner was great to work with and the property is newly updated and in a perfect location. The home is a couple of blocks from the beautiful beaches and right around the corner from restaurants and cafes. Manhattan Beach is a vacation destination and this property is in close proximity to the beach and entertainment. The home is very clean and updated with garnet kitchen countertops. The property also has plenty of space. Additionally, we enjoyed watching the sunset over the water in the living room. The property owner was excellent to do business with. The owner was very pleasant and communicative. My family and I had an exceptional experience given the great home, location, and owner. I would stay at this property again and I highly recommend this property to anyone.

Excellent Home close to beach and suited for family fun

Family stayed in both the upper and lower unit which were perfect for large family with teenages. Everyone enjoyed the stay and Monti was very accomodating and hospitable same with Barbara his manager. The garage was nice to have for bikes and other items we brought to enjoy the beach. Also having a large driveway to park multiple vehicles is a big plus. Monti had many items available to us ie beach umberella bikes and chairs we used that made our time on the beach more enjoyable without having to purchase or bring the items. Both homes were well equipped the upstairs unit kitchen and bathroom updated but not to where you where concerned with it being too nice as some places have white furniture at the beach?. Thank you again Monti we hope to stay again next year.

When I was much younger I used to drive to Manhattan Beach with my bike on the back of my car. I would park and ride my bike all day around the beach. One day I said ' I'm going to live here so I don't have to drive'. Now I do.
