Family friendly villa with pool - relaxed cancellation policy for 2022!

Casa Maui is a luxury holiday villa with private pool located in the leafy area of Quinta Do Paraiso a mere 10 minutes walk from Carvoeiro centre and beautiful sandy beaches. Casa Maui is also close to some of the best golf courses in Portugal, Pinta and Gramacho are only a stones throw away. The villa has a cosy feel with an emphasis on comfort and is accessed via a calcada stone path leading through extremely well managed gardens with palms, banana and fig trees surrounding the property. There is parking for two cars and to the side of the villa there is a children's play area with slide and swings.

The villa has free super fast WIFI .

There are distant sea views from the roof terrace and BBQ facilities available from the pool side terrace. All interior furnishings are of the highest quality and arranged to maximise your comfort during your stay. Casa Maui has every ingredient for the perfect family holiday.

All our guests are welcome to use the facilities at Quinta Do Paraiso resort which is just a 2 minute walk away from the villa. The facilities include the use of their 3 pools, a free children's club and free minibus service to and from the resort and village centre during high season. Some of their facilities eg; tennis will incur extra charges. Other QDP facilities are bars, restaurants, poolside entertainment, pizza, internet access, crazy golf, diving centre and a small supermarket.

Ideal location and superb home in quiet area.

Excellent villa in quiet residential location. Well equiped kitchen with all you need for self catering. Our only criticism (constructive) was the lack of a canvas / softer seat outside for someone with a suspect back. Would happily return.

A great week at Casa Maui 😎

Great communication from booking the villa last year, right up to our arrival last week. The villa layout worked really well for our family and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need for the nights we ate in. Carveiro Clube restaurant, shop and nice pools in short walking distance from villa as was the beach 😎 wish we’d have booked a longer break!

Wonderful villa!

Great week in a great villa

We have just returned from a lovely week away staying in this Villa. The pre-arrival communication was excellent and put us at ease with a late arrival. The accommodation was excellent, the pictures do not do the place justice. The villa is set in a large plot which creates privacy. The pool was great fun and having the club facilities close by gave further options for swimming. The information pack in the villa was informative and helpful. We used Ubers to get into town and that was very easy. Overall a fab Villa in a great location.

Great family holiday

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Maui, the villa had everything we needed for our holiday. We had great weather whilst we were there & made full use of the pool. There are lots of restaurants in the area, but there are also plenty of supermarkets which allowed us to self-cater on the evenings where we didn’t want to go out. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Fantastic villa everything we needed. Jane the owner communicated with us from booking to arriving. Stuart location manager was on hand for anything we needed. Magdalena and colleagues cleaning was second to none. Would definitely book again had an amazing family holiday.

Wonderfully relaxing villa

What a wonderful villa! It is very spacious, spotlessly clean and really well equipped. There is lots of space outside too. The local neighbourhood is lovely and peaceful but you can walk into town in about ten minutes. We spent many hours relaxing by the pool and used the pool side BBQ for lots of our evening meals. I have not hesitation in recommending the villa - we can't wait to return.

The Casa Maui really gave us a perfect stay!

The villa is nice, clean och very well equipped. The private pool is perfect for relaxing after a day on the beach...or instead of a day on the beach :-) We really appreciated the grill which we used several evenings. The surroundings are nice and quiet and suitable for walks (preferably in the morning before it gets too hot). Jane was very informative prior to our arrival and the whole renting/check-in process was very easy and smooth! @Jane: Thanks for letting us stay at your wonderful Casa Maui!!

Lovely Autumn half term break

We had a wonderful time at Casa Maui. The Villa has everything you could need. It is in a quiet location but not far from the town which you can get to a couple of ways. We enjoyed the steep hills back as was good exercise to burn off all the calories from our meals out. We were so grateful also for the flexibility regarding our check in and check out as we had late flights both ways. Thank you Jane, Stuart and Magdalena we loved the villa and my boys really loved the pool despite it being very cold.

Amazing holiday

What an amazing villa in the perfect location! Jane was on hand and answered all my questions before we even arrived. Everything was perfect! My five year old and 1 year old loved the private pool and swings. The villa had everything we would ever need on holiday with young children. Having the pools to use at the main complex, you really do hve the best of both worlds and Carvoeiro is a lovely, family friendly place! We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Amazing stay

We have stayed in Carvoeiro on numerous occasions in the past but this was the first time due to Covid coming out as a family with our two kids and Grandparents. The villa is very family friendly with our 7 & 3 yr olds absolutely loving the pool and play area in the garden with slide and swings. Contact with the owner before and leading up to our stay was very good. The location of the villa for us was just right with it being far enough away from town to have some peace and quiet but also close enough to easily walk to and from town. The walk back is a bit uphill but a taxi from town is quick and cheap enough if you don’t fancy the walk back. I would definitely recommend this villa and I want to thank the owner Jane, property agent Stuart and cleaner Magdalina for making our family holiday one to remember.

Stay - June 26th to July 9th 2023

Villa well equipped and spacious. Location is as described and walk into town took us just over 10 mins. The walk back is quite steep so we used taxis which cost about 5 euros a time. Only downside is our neighbours were very noisy as there was a rap festival in Portimao on the last week of June and outside music was blaring most of the week. If you are looking for a quiet week, you might want to avoid this time. It’s not the villas fault and maybe we just were unlucky to have terrible neighbours that week. All was great once they left.

Fabulous house with a lovely garden

We thoroughly enjoyed our ten days of sunshine at Casa Maui. It was spacious, clean, well-equipped and had a lovely terrace and pool and garden. Our two children loved the pool and we enjoyed sitting out on the sun on the terrace, which is nicely shielded and up above the house next door level on the open side. It's about a ten to 15 minutes short walk with kids to the town beach and Carvoeiro centre (downhill there, uphill back) - or a short drive to park close enough for a five minute stroll to the beach. There are also lots of other lovely beaches within 10 to 15 minutes drive nearby - and a bit further afield, such as over to by Faro and Sagres. Jane was a great host and really helpful in terms of booking etc in this awkward time for getting away. We'd definitely come back.

Fabulous spacious villa!

Just back from Casa Maui. Loved it! Great location and a true home from home. Jane was a dream to deal with and the people who look after the villa in Portugal were great and easy to deal with also. The villa is spotlessly clean and the kitchen are bathrooms are very modern and well equipped. Air con in 3 bedrooms and the living area worked really well and was much needed as the temperature reached nearly 40 deg. It guaranteed that we were kept cool at night and got a good nights sleep. Kids age 16 and 10 loved the pool as did we. Loads of space at the side and back of the villa to allow them to play outdoor games etc. Overall a lovely relaxing holiday. Will definitely be back in the future and would highly recommend this fabulous villa. The Clark Family, Hamilton, Scotland.

Ideal - a private villa within a family resort!

This is the 3rd time we've been to this villa and each time we've left we've immediately wanted to return - this time was no exception! It's a comfortable, cosy villa. We loved spending time on the beds by the pool and eating al fresco. It's only a few metres (down a steep hill) to the centre of Quinta do Paraiso with its larger pools, pool bar and entertainment. There was aqua dancing, water basketball and some fun evening entertainment - including karaoke - all led by the fun and friendly Joao - this part of the holiday was definitely an improvement to previous stays! There's also an on site restaurant snd a small but well stocked shop. It's also not too far from Carvoeiro centre and beach - about a 15-20 minutes walk but quite hilly - so sometimes we drove down and parked. Stuart, the maintenance man, was always on hand if we had a problem in the villa and he was very quick to sort things. All in all a fantastic holiday which could be enjoyed by all three generations of our family - and well priced too!

Great villa with everything you need

We had a terrific week here and the location of the villa is only a 15 minute walk into the centre of town. You also have the facilities of the Quinta do paraiso resort with bar pool restaurant take away and mini market on your doorstep. Carvoeiro itself is great fantastic restaurants live music in the square and a mixture of quiet and lively bars. We were on holiday with 4 teenagers and there was something for all of them. However the main plus of the holiday was the villa , the pool area was just brilliant getting the sun all day with the shaded area with table and chairs to chill out. The villa was spotless with all mod cons air-conditioning internet and satellite TV and excellent WiFi a must for teenagers. The kitchen had all the facilities you need and Stuart checked in on us regularly to make sure we were ok and to clean the pool. We got fresh towels and a clean on the 3rd day It was only 14 euros in a taxi to the water park which I would also recommend. I would come back here in a minute a thoroughly brilliant holiday experience

Nice villa, would benefit from a bit if TLC

The villa is well located, with the hotel facilities just a few minutes walk. Living room and master bedroom/suite are nice, and kitchen is well stocked. Uber into town was very easy and cheap, and it is only a short walk to the beach. Negatives were pool needs to be cleaned better - off-putting green round edge (although water itself was clean) and locks on both bathroom doors didn’t work. We asked manager whether we could have later checkout than 10am as our flight wasn’t until 5.55pm, and he said next guests weren’t arriving until 7pm so we could have another hour until 11am, Cleaners still came in at 10.10am making us hurry to leave. He also advised going to Praia de Faro to kill time before flight which turned out to be terrible advice - massive lines of traffic and nowhere to park - very stressful, so ended up giving up and going to airport 5 hours early, Wish we had hung round the nice hotel pool as we had originally planned as it spoiled our last day.

Lovely villa with every amenity you could wish for. Highly recommended

We spent two very happy and comfortable weeks at Casa Maui. It's undoubtedly the best equipped villa of any we've stayed at, with every possible amenity provided. The kitchen was superbly equipped - not just in terms of kitchen equipment and crockery/cutlery etc, but basic kitchen ingredients and soap/dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, bin bags etc. there were other little touches which are not always provided with a villa stay - such as hairdryer, hair straighteners and bathrooms were supplied with soap and shower cream. There is a good selection of books/CDs (and player) and two different systems for the TV - including British channels on one system. There is also plenty of information in the form of maps and guides for exploring the area. The aircon was highly efficient and wifi signal strong and constant. It was a pleasure to deal with Jane before and during our stay. Stuart was highly conscientious in making sure that the pool was always clean, as was Madalena with the house. The villa is in a great location with facilities on site if you wanted a large pool or some entertainment. We didn't eat at the onsite restaurant but they do a full take-out menu. The shop is pricey but handy for picking up freshly baked bread in the morning and useful if you don't have a car. It's only a 15 minute walk in to town but we used Uber a few times too for around 3 euros. There are several restaurants within 10 mins walking distance. I can't recommend this villa highly enough and we will definitely be looking to stay here next time we visit Carvoiero

Lovely!

We have just returned from Casa Maui. We cannot fault the property and service we received. We had, at one point, 7 in our party, including my self and husband, sister and brother in law and 3 early 20 year olds. The villa was very clean and tidy with nice furniture, It has 3 very nicely sized bedrooms one with an ensuite. The family bathroom and ensuite both a good size, with good showers. Beds were comfy and fresh bedding and towels provided very regularly. With the bonus of having pool towels too. We had a number of comings and goings in our party and Jane organised the cleaner (so sorry I can't remember her name) to come in at every re arrangement and she changed the beds and provided fresh towels, she even put up a camp bed for a few nights for us. Excellent service! The kitchen and laundry room were well equipped and all in good working order, As were the air conditioning, satellite, Internet TV and the wifi was FANTASTIC! (First time we have ever had a faultless connection on holiday!). All at no extra cost to original price quoted/paid. The pool area was lovely with the garden, a few mosquitos but kept at bay with citronella candles in the lovely candle holders. We used the bbq a couple of times and helped ourselves to the herbs! The patio table provided the perfect base to spend the evenings, have lunch or just to get a bit of shade after using the sunbeds. Stuart came regularly to sort out any minor issues and kept the pool in good order. We had s small hire car, but there was plenty of room for s couple of cars in the drive. The reception, communal pool and shop are all only a two minute walk away. Carvoeiro was only a 15 minute stroll too. Quite steep to get down to town in any direction, but not too arduous and a taxi is easy to come by to come back up or there is a minibus available from reception a few times a day, going to and from the town. Casa Maui is perhaps not the most glamorous or 'fancy' villa you could chose but I really not cannot fault the facilities, location, service and value for money. Perfect in every way. Ein wunderschönes Haus zum Wohlfühlen

Wir wollten mal wieder als Familie verreisen und so kam es, dass wir Eltern mit unseren drei erwachsenen Kindern und unserem Enkel eine Woche in diesem entzückenden Haus an der Algarve Urlaub machten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, es war alles da, was man zum Kochen und Grillen und Baden und zum Zusammensitzen und Genießen benötigt wurde. Es war sehr schön hier.

Everything you need for a family holiday!

Fab break as a family of 4 with a 5 and 1 yr old. Fab pool and bonus play area. Villa had everything you need and more for cooking, entertaining the kids and comfortable beds and sofa. Useful having access to hotel facilities down the road if you need a change of scenery however the beaches and nearby town easily reachable. Would recommend a car to explore the local beaches and brilliant water park however Uber is also very good in the area (including Uber eats!). Jane is great for communication and everything was smooth and brilliant. Highly recommended :)
