We had a nice stay. Beautiful home. Best part was the pool and the view. Modern kitchen. Couple of issues about bedding and other items shared with manager. Would visit again.
We needed a house near my daughters softball tournaments all week. We were pleasantly surprised by the Clermont area! Loved our house and especially the water skiers every single morning in our backyard! It was like a show every morning!
This was the most beautiful home Iâve ever stayed in on vacation but I am so very very very disappointed that this company did not keep up with the maintenance thatâs most important to peoples lives me and my husband contacted legionnaires while staying in this home. The people before or after us also contracted it in our no fighting for their lives. Me and my husband are both in the hospital and had the test done stating we had legionnaires and pneumonia and both are lungs we continue to test negative for Covid. My husband is on oxygen and heâs been on two different antibiotics and itâs not working we are now 10 days of staying in the hospital we have contacted the health department and somehow someone needs to compensate us because this is on excusable if youâre renting out homes to people you at least need to make sure that they are safe and this is a common thing in the state of Florida with bacteria in the weather please keep my husband in prayer. Itâs very devastating to go on vacation and to never make it home because of negligence when it comes to renting this home out
We booked this property because it was outside of the hustle and bustle of Disney/Universal and had great privacy. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. However, this particular property did not meet our needs.
1. The check-in process had no security. The key were left in a box that was open to anyone and not secure. The check-in was at 5:00, the office closes at 4:00.
2. We immediately heard a smoke alarm beeping called the emergency after hours number to get maintenance out to fix. When the maintenance person showed up, he decided there was a problem with the smoke alarm. He informed us that it would be better to take the smoke alarm completely out of the wall so that we could sleep. The smoke alarm was never fixed during our stay.
3. The washing machine would not turn on and after several tries, we finally got to talking with someone who explained that it was a known issue due to a lightning storm the night before (why wasn't there a note left on the Washer?). The after hours emergency number found us a house that we could go wash our clothes in that night. The washer was never fixed during our stay.
4. The water quality is very poor. There were chunks of black stuff coming out of the master bathroom sinks. The water smelled horribly and was yellow/rusty even though there was a water filtration unit.
5. The colored towels in the master bath had bleach stains on them.
6. There was a sizable hole in the wall in the master bathroom where a towel bar had been replaced but the hole had not been patched. There were several light switches that also didn't cover the entire hole.
7. A welcome package would be nice that includes packets of salt/pepper/ketchup/mustard.
8. The furniture was clean and solid. Our advice would be to replace the queen mattress in the master bedroom with a king mattress so that it fits the frame better. The mattress itself was very comfortable.
9. There were plenty of linens and paper products. It was a clean property.
10. The location is great with lots of shopping/restaurants nearby but very quiet.
All in all, we just didn't feel this property met our quality standards for the price of this unit. Perhaps other units are better quality but we cannot recommend this particular unit. We can overlook the immediate issues of the washer/smoke alarm if they had been fixed during our stay but we heard nothing from the property management company after the initial finding.
Our time in Groveland was a special gift for our family this year. The home was beautiful and well appointed with plenty of room for our family of six. We paid the extra fee for the pool and spa to be heated and unfortunately when we arrived, we found the pool dirty and the heater not working. However, the property management worked quickly to fix the situation and we were refunded the cost of heating for the days we were unable to use the pool. That response to our only issue displayed the level of care the management put into making sure we had a wonderful vacation. Thank you!
I live in VA and this was a birthday getaway for my girlfriend and I! Our stay was great! The house, pool, and view was amazing! Check in was easy! We definitely plan to come back!
