Wonderful experience

The property is outstanding. Very comfortable and the views from every room are wonderful. The owners were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. We will definitely return to this beautiful home.

Perfection!

I hesitate to write a review because I want this to be our family’s secret spot. This place is absolute perfection! The amazing house and breathtaking views would have been enough, but the many amenities and activities in the area begged us to stay active. We’d take the kayaks out for fishing and sightseeing, then relax our tired muscles in the hot tub. On a rainy day, we snuggled around the fire pit with blankets and read books on the spectacular covered porch. Nearby hiking trails, islands to explore, the sounds of nature, designated space for the kids, and an extremely kind and responsive host round this place out. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with this rental. Already planning to book again this summer to go whitewater rafting and fly fishing. Thank you for introducing us to our new happy place.

AMAZING!

We have found our annual family vacation destination. The pictures don’t justify the elegance of this home or the surrounding lake and mountain vistas. The spacious outdoor living areas encourage photo ops from every corner! The weather was beautiful so we enjoyed the dock, kayaks, decks, ping pong, and corn hole. Relaxing in the hot tub after a hike on the AP while watching the sunset was perfection. The marina was closed for the season, but we’ll be back to rent a boat and explore every inch of the pristine lake. The modern comforts and well equipped kitchen made relaxing easy and the kids loved the downstairs game table and massive TV for movies at night. The place was immaculate and all of the beds super comfortable. The hosts have everything you could possibly need to prepare large family meals. Craig was very responsive to our pre-stay questions and even checked in with us during our stay to share some local knowledge of nearby waterfalls and trails. We cannot imagine wanting to vacation anywhere else. We’re already planning our summer get-a-way at Encore. Highly recommended!

The BEST of the BEST!

If you are looking for a villa where the entire family can have fun, than look no further. This villa was carefully curated for comfort, design, and is absolutely family friendly.If you want something remote-this is it. If you want something family friendly-this is it. If you want a solo trip or a shared trip with another family-this is it!The outdoor activities are what really sealed the deal for our vacation. Hiking, kayaking, jacuzzi, fire pits, and amazing outdoor swings and couches to enjoy Nantahala Lake.Major cities are close enough by that you can take a day trip, but we just stayed in and did local activities.Craig and Andrea were amazing hosts! We look forward to visiting again.

My wife, 3 children and I currently reside just outside of Athens, GA, but our happy place is Lake Nantahala. We love hiking the nearby Appalachian Trail, boating on the lake, whitewater rafting the nearby Nantahala River and soaking in the hot tub after a long day of fun and adventure. Introducing Lake Nantahala to our guests is very rewarding!

Lake Nantahala is one of the best kept secrets in the Smokies. I've been coming to the area since I was 8yrs old and I'm still wonderstruck by the beauty, serenity and untarnished nature that surrounds the Nantahala National Forest.
