Quiet and relaxing

Amazing Place!!

Beautiful home, beautiful area. An overall excellent stay at Echo Lake Lodge. The owner was easily accessible via phone and/or text and was extremely helpful. Definitely a place to visit; I know we’ll be back!

Everything was perfect about this cabin.

New cabin built in beautiful location. Across the lake marina with café making good food and summer time delivering pizza by boats. Cabin have everything and behind for large group Definitely recommend.

Amazing Family Vacation

What a great stay! This house is beautiful, perfectly private, and packed with activities to do (inside the lodge and out). Our group of ten people ranged in ages from 1 to 75 and there was something for everyone! Our days were spent swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, playing cards/games, and enjoying meals together. We found the lodge very clean. I was impressed with how well stocked it was with essentials (not all are like that) and the "extras" which made our stay even more enjoyable (two baby gates which were a Godsend with the 1yo). Craig was very responsive and helpful. We cant wait to visit again.

Quiet cove

Echo cabin was exactly as described. Fantastic lake views!! Fully stocked, great layout and easy lake access!! Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed soaking up the view from the many porches, hot tub and the dock. Owners were very quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet and relaxing

It was an amazing experience, being on the lake you could enjoy time on the dock, deck, or in the water. It was nice getting away from electronics and focus on the surrounding nature.

This home is gorgeous with breathtaking views of the lake.

Beautiful home and location. Very spacious for our large extended family. The porches are comfortable and inviting. The dock was very stable and secure. We enjoyed the paddle boarding and canoeing. Our favorite spot on this lovely lake.

Great Waterfront Escape

This house was the perfect location with just the right amount of activities for multiple families. Both kids and adults enjoyed the wide assortment of games, hot tub, kayaking and boating on the lake, to relaxing around the beautiful outside sitting areas. It was extremely peaceful listening to the babbling brook at night while sitting around the campfire. We would definitely recommend this property with many hopes to stay here again!

Beautiful place, wonderful view, well equipped!!

We loved this place, beautiful! During the rainy season I’d recommend a heavy car or 4 wheel drive, the mountain is steep going up to get out. Also stock up on groceries an beverages the county is dry, grocery is a little far. Orher than that, it was amazing!!!

Christmas 2020 in the mountains

Our stay was absolutely amazing, the newly built cabin had everything our family needed for our stay. The view was absolutely amazing on the lake, and there were plenty of room for the entire family. We had a beautiful white Christmas this year, waking up looking across the lake with the snow lying on the hills was almost like living in a postcard, absolutely beautiful. My family and I would definitely love to come back in the summer.

Lake Vacation

Our entire group enjoyed very much being on the water. We rented a boat and spent much time enjoying being out on the water. Our group enjoyed the porch (especially Grandma and Grandpa). We had a great week. The property is very rural and do not want to talk about the driveway!

2921 Retirement Vacation Week

Great way to celebrate my husbands retirement. Echo Lodge did not disappoint. Spacious enough for our entire family and the screened in porch with fireplace and TV was so relaxing each night. We would bring a 4 wheel drive next time. Getting into the cabin can be a little tricky but it was so worth it!!

Family Trip

We spent a week at this wonderful house. There were 10 of us from 9 - 77 years. There was plenty of space for everybody and the location was beautiful. We rented a boat from the local marina and enjoyed every day on the lake. Craig was incredibly helpful with an issue we had with our car and his head of maintenance, Mikey, went above and beyond.

Serenity Found

We just spent the most wonderful week with friends in this beautiful home. Not only is this house stunning and fully equipped with everything you’ll need, it is beautifully decorated inside and out. Aug 2020 Summer Vacation

The location, property, experience was everything we were hoping for... quiet, serene, picturesque - perfect. Some people sat on the deck all day, others hiked, canoed, etc. Something for everyone. It's remote so if your desire is shopping, internet, etc - then don't come here. However if its relaxing on a large lake in the mountains - perfect.

"THE MOST PERFECT PLACE"

The hosts of this property were amazing! The home was immaculate and impeccably decorated. We couldn't believe how clean and beautifully this home is maintained. It was like no one else had ever stayed there. The views and surrounding area were spectacular. We will certainly stay here again soon. I just hope we are able to find available bookings. Excellent spot to rest and recharge!

We just completed our 3rd stay at this beautiful lakefront home and will definitely go back next year. The cove and dock are the perfect spot to relax; everyone enjoys the paddle board, canoe, and swimming in the clean water. The house works out well for our multi-generational group. The grandparents get the gorgeous master suite, and the kids and grandkids have the remaining four bedrooms to share. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking at home. One of our favorite spots is the large back deck with lots of rocking chairs. Lake Nantahala has been our favorite lake vacation destination for over 20 years, and this lovely home is allowing us to continue the family tradition.

My wife, 3 children and I currently reside just outside of Athens, GA, but our happy place is Lake Nantahala. We love hiking the nearby Appalachian Trail, boating on the lake, whitewater rafting the nearby Nantahala River and soaking in the hot tub after a long day of fun and adventure. Introducing Lake Nantahala to our guests is very rewarding!
