Discover your ideal Galveston getaway at our charming waterfront home in Sea Isle. Nestled right on the canal, this split-level retreat offers a unique blend of relaxation and recreation, making it perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends looking to create lasting memories.

Waterfront Oasis: Enjoy the serenity of canal-front living with your very own private boat dock. Whether you're into fishing or relaxing, this waterfront paradise has you covered. The spacious top deck is an entertainer's dream, whether you're playing cards together or simply soaking in the picturesque views.

Beach Proximity: If you're a beach enthusiast, you're in luck! The pristine Galveston beach is less than a mile away, making it a breeze to spend your days sunbathing, building sandcastles, or taking leisurely walks by the shore. The home includes two outdoor chairs, a rainbow umbrella, a boogie board, and sand toys for you to enjoy.

Community Perks: Sea Isle has a lot to offer. Cool off in the community pool or take the kids to nearby parks for some outdoor fun. (Pool pass can be purchased at the POA Office next to the pool). Additionally, you'll find the West End Marina just a short walk away, providing access to a marina shop, restaurants, and bars, adding extra convenience and entertainment options to your stay. Friday is karaoke night!

The bottom floor can only be accessed from the front or back ground floor and is one large room equipped with 1 queen bed and 2 twin bunk beds. The bottom floor has a window AC unit and a few space heaters for use if need be. We try not to freeze out the window AC unit so please be patient with it and keep the temperature above 68degrees. There is a full bathroom on this bottom floor with an intimate standing shower. This bathroom is connected through to the laundry room and both have concrete flooring for any sandy toes that may go through. We have a dehumidifier running in this room to help with Galvestons humidity but please keep in mind that this space is often more hot/humid than the upstairs level. The bottom floor is ideal for a kids room but is also spacious enough if you are planning a trip with multiple families!

We provide a Tide pod for our guests but if you plan on doing multiple loads of laundry please plan accordingly. In the laundry room we have a complimentary pair of outdoor chairs, a beach umbrella, and a few beach toys for you to enjoy!

The bottom level walks directly out to the private boat dock, boat lift not available, and is ideal for those who enjoy fishing! Just a heads-up—the boat dock does not have any lighting installed. We recommend bringing a flashlight if you plan to be out on the boat dock after dark. If you plan to bring a boat, please let us know ahead of time so we can provide a boat launch key (if lost there is a $200 charge applied). We do not track tides or provide fenders, ropes, cleats, etc so please bring whatever you may need for your boat with you.

Access to the top deck and top floor is by a shallow-stepped staircase on the outside of the home. The top deck is AMAZING! So much space for the whole group to enjoy together and covered to avoid the elements. There is plenty of seating for the whole group to enjoy relaxing together out of the sun after a long day at the beach :)

Here you will find the lockbox where the guest keys are located. The living space is an open concept area where the dining, kitchen, and living room flow easily together. There is also a futon here for additional sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is well equipped with LOTS of utensils and appliances. Waffle maker, blender, crock pot, coffee machine, as well as plenty of serving dishes. We try our best to keep this kitchen stocked but please let us know if something needs replacement.

There is 1 queen bedroom and 1 king bedroom on the top floor connected by a full bathroom. The bathroom upstairs is a bit more spacious and gets great natural light through the windows. The top deck has Central AC & Heating. The top deck HVAC system was replaced in 2024.. Our home has plenty of character—and a few quirks that come with age. On hotter days, things can get a little toasty, so we appreciate your good humor and patience!

A few things to note: Provided items are... all bed linens, bath towels, starter set of shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwahser pod, coffee filters, and paper towels. We do not provide... cooking oil, pantry items such as salt&pepper, coffee grinds, and beach towels. Bathing towels for the bottom level are located in the laundry room. Bathing towels for the top level are located in the bathroom closet.

Both TVs can be connected to your streaming accounts. The Sea Isle community does have a pool for residents and guests (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and a pass can be purchased at the Sea Isle HOA office next to the pool.

Sea Isle is still dealing with the destruction after Hurricane Beryl hit. CenterPoint frequently shuts the power off to work on neighborhood power lines. We do our best to update our guests if there is a known power issue, however sometimes CenterPoint does not provide a notification. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our guests. Please give us grace.

Outdoor Fun: The spacious yard is an excellent space for outdoor games, making it the ideal spot for friendly competitions or just unwinding after a fun-filled day at the beach. Feeling like making smores and a campfire? We have a fire pit ready for you!

All pets mut be confirmed along with appropriate pet fees upon booking. A $200 fine will be applied if additinal or unconfirmed pets are on the property.

Our check-in and check-out times are scheduled in advance for our cleaners. Early check-in or late checkout requests cannot be gauarnteed. Guests who stay past check-out time without confirmation are subject to a $50 fine every 30 minutes they are on the property.

Smoking is prohibited on the property. The penalty for guests smoking is $500.

Please list all guests staying on the property during your stay. Any additional guest over our limit will be a $100 fine per person.

We are not liable for items left or lost during your stay but will do everything we can to search for items left.

If damages are found you will be charged an additional request for payment to repair damages. Please treat our home as if it is your own. If damages occur during your stay, please let us know. Fires of any kind are not allowed on our top deck. Please leave the firepit on the bottom floor only to be used outside. Please keep all indoor furniture, inside.

We provide a starter set of hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and 1 tide pod. There is a convenient store located right outside the Sea Isle neighborhood- very convenient if extra supplies are needed.

If any noise complaints on the property occur during your stay an additional charge of $300 will apply. Please be respectful of our neighborly community.

Access key to the Sea Isle boat ramp and fishing pier are available upon request prior to your stay. A fine of $200 will be applied if the boat ramp key is lost. The fishing pier is a key card to be requested separately of the boat ramp key but if lost a fine of $200 is applied. If the guest house key is lost a fine of $200 will be applied as well. The boat slip connected to our home is great, but please note we do not provide fenders, ropes, cleats, etc so be prepared to bring the equipment needed to safely secure your boat.

Our home is not brand new. Give it grace and be gentle. We love it with all its quirks and hope you too.

Please Note: In response to recent guest feedback, we want to be transparent about the unique conditions of our location. Galveston’s hot, humid climate—especially during hurricane season—can sometimes attract pests, particularly in canal-front homes with ground-level rooms. We maintain regular professional pest control and inspect the home frequently, but due to the natural environment, occasional sightings are possible. We do our absolute best to minimize this, and appreciate your understanding as you consider if this home is the right fit for your stay.

The home is older and needs some work . My husband had to fix the master bedroom door knob it fell off, the deck door knob, ( we didn't mind), a couple of steps are loose, no canal lights, found a huge cockroach in downstairs bathroom. The upstairs was very cozy and clean.

Cozy island getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! This cozy little canal house was just the right size for our family’s spring break getaway. Perfect for hanging out on the spacious balcony, where you can cast a line right into the canal. It’s a great location with beach access a golf cart ride away.

The house was smaller than expected, but it worked. My only complaints were the shower downstairs only had really hot water, the cold knob was broken. The swing on the patio upstairs fell apart as soon as someone sat on it. The lights downstairs outside did not work at all. There were not enough towels in the house, and the roaches outside were so bad no one wanted to sit outside. The plus side. The a/c worked. All the appliances worked and the house was well stocked with everything we would need to cook. It was clean and cozy. The property manager was very responsive. We were able to fish off the patio, and the internet worked. Would probably stay here again!

First off, pictures make it look real big. Second, the cockroaches were bigger than anything we have ever seen. The upstairs bathroom had no ventilation whatsoever. It was so musty and all the containers for moisture were all filled. We made the best of it and we will be back but we will find a more accommodating house.

Fun Family Getaway

This was a last minute weekend trip and we got lucky! The house was perfect for our family! The boys got to fish and crab off the back deck and loved the downstairs bedroom area with bunk beds. I was impressed with how well the humidifier worked downstairs because previous places have had humidity issues with downstairs bedrooms. This house was also right by the beach, bait shop,and restaurant. We always love seeing the ice cream man! It was great!

The place is barely kept up. There was missing siding underneath the deck roof. The door knob on one bedroom door fell off every time you tried to shut it completely and open back up. There were no drain plugs in the bathroom sinks. The basement bedroom has mildew smell and water stains on the wall. My son saw cockroaches when he turned on the lights in the bathroom at night. The door on the back off the boat dock to the lower area locked but you could literally push it back open . Not secure. There were gaps in the sliding patio doors off the upper deck into the house which bugs could enter. There were 4 rolls of toilet paper for a week and 5 adults. Only 1 extra trash bag per trash container. And only 1 roll of paper towels. I think it could be a nice place with better upkeep. My brother stayed at a VRBO down the road for less and it was very nice and well maintained. The only plus was being on the canal. I would not recommend this place.

My Husband's 60th birthday

When I found this property right on the water, I knew it would be perfect. My husband love's fishing! For his birthday I wanted him to relax and go fishing. This property didn't disappoint. The family enjoyed it immensely.

Nope.

My family has been coming down to stay in sea isle every summer for 7 years now and even have rented out homes for other friends/family's to stay (so roughly about 10 vacation rentals in this same neighborhood) and I have never written a negative review. To start with the positives-The location is great, the house pretty much looks like the pictures, the air conditioning and hot water work great and it had a nice front yard. The negatives- When we arrived the door to the downstairs bunk room was open, we thought it was just maybe the cleaners accidentally left it open but no- the door does not close properly so my 4 children who slept down there had to move their suitcases in front of the door to keep it closed at night, even having to move a bed to keep it closed during a storm. That same storm caused the other door in the bunk room to leak like crazy which lead to ruined books and chargers. The bunk room was also INFESTED with ants and cockroaches. We have booked many houses with downstairs bunk rooms and have never had this issue before
 ever. On top of that, all of the linens were torn and even the couch cushions were safety pinned together. We completed our stay because frankly, finding a spot for our large family on short notice was going to cost us an arm and a leg after what we have already spent but it really put a dark cloud over our annual vacay.

This house says it sleeps 12, but it’s extremely small and not enough seating. The stairs are old and a few steps have come undone from the railing. The downstairs area smelled funny, the AC unit did not work well and is not nearly as nice as the pictures online present. The main AC unit quit working and the house was 82 degrees at the end of June
.with children and It took the host 12 hours to respond and by that time the air had turned cold again. There was half a roll of toilet paper, no paper towels, no dish washing liquid and not enough towels or wash cloths. For the amount paid, I expected at least the bare necessities to be provided and the air conditioning to work.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Sea Isle is such a unqiue spot. The beaches here are a bit calmer than downtown Galveston but just as convenient. You can drive on certain sections, park in lots outside others that do not allow vehicles, or walk over right from the community. From Memorial day to Labor day there is a pass required pool for guest access which is so great! The marina offers restauarnts and bars for easy dining in the neighborhood, a private fishing pier and boat ramp, playgrounds, parks, tennis/pickleball courts, and so much more!
