Thank you for allowing us to host you and for noting the home was very clean and as advertised. We’re glad you enjoyed the property overall! We do want to clarify a few points for future guests. This is a dog-friendly home, and while we work hard to ensure every home is thoroughly cleaned between stays, occasional pet hair can happen. We’re always happy to address anything during a stay if we’re given the opportunity. Regarding towels, the # provided is outlined in the home info prior to booking. We provide high-quality towels based on the home’s occupancy, which in this case accommodates up to 8 guests. We’re a little surprised to hear only four towels were available for your group, as that is not what our counts on your arrival day show. Maybe you missed them? Outdoor seating is also shown in the listing photos and reflects the home’s setup. There are several chairs on the deck, along with a swing at the ground-level dock area. Adding additional furniture on the ground can be challenging in this particular location because of the strong coastal and canal winds. Unfortunately, outdoor chairs have a tendency to take an unexpected swim in the canal! As for the ticking sound, we’re not aware of any mechanical issue or persistent noise in the bedroom. It’s certainly possible it may have been a cricket or another bit of our lively coastal wildlife. We’re glad the box fan helped provide some white noise and a more comfortable night’s sleep! We appreciate your feedback.

The third bedroom access is noted in our listing, but we’ll work on making that detail even more clear for future guests. As for the bay ladder, for safety reasons there isn't one because barnacles quickly form and can cause cuts, but we love that you were still able to enjoy kayaking and the water.
