This was such a cute and cozy home. The owners were very friendly and responsive with us, even checked in making sure we were enjoying our stay. We will definitely be back to enjoy this home again.

Modest accommodations, beachy decor, and lots of sleeping options. Missed having a dishwasher and the AC was tricky and we woke up in 80 degrees temps The owners were quick to reply and assist. We appreciate the communication!! Perfect for small children!

The house had some significant cleanliness issues, with dirty walls, a bathroom that smelled of urine, and even some poop on the bathroom wall. The room layout was deceiving, with furniture blocking doors and closets. Plus, the third bedroom was actually a converted garage. While the location and pool size were okay, the overall experience was marred by the need for a deep clean. The house also had an issue with the AC going out, but the owner responded quickly by installing two window units to address the problem.

Nice little condo to get some R&R.

Great little condo. Quite neighborhood, conveniently located to a nice beach. Place was clean and a great place to relax for a few days. They forgot the coffee but other than that, really enjoyable stay with everything needed to get some R&R. Thanks!

Awesome House

The house was great. Very clean and nice. We loved that there was enough space for all of us and plenty of restrooms. The location is also perfect. As soon as you leave the subdivision you can drive straight into the beach. There is a convenient store very close by as well. Everything was perfect. We will stay here again!!!

Nice location, a little rough inside

We stayed here the night before we boarded a Royal Caribbean cruise. While the location wasn't close to the cruise terminal, it was very close to the beach in a quiet community, which we loved. However, the house itself was a little rough. There was a lot of little things that added up - the couch was super dirty, the shower curtain was torn up, the water never got hot during a shower, the bed frames in the bottom bedroom were broken, there were remotes missing for the tv's and the remote that was there was almost unusable because the buttons were so worn and half didn't work, there were soft spots in the flooring. The check in and out process was easy and communication was good, but again, the house itself is just a bit rough. It worked out ok for a one night stay, but I probably wouldn't have enjoyed staying there longer term.

Just 1 night

Our family stayed in this beautiful property near the water. We were able to get our wash done and have a few nice meals as a family. I will say the downfall is that we weren’t familiar with the area and were very confused as to how many miles away the actual town of Galveston was away. The communication was good and helpful with the hosts, but I wished we were closer to town since we were staying just for 1 night. The property is really set up for a multiple night stay and it was very nice. My family was very comfortable and made themselves right at home.

Cute decor

It was a cute little house! The third bedroom is downstairs in the finished out garage, I must have missed that in the description. The beds in the downstairs are just a mattress on the floor (no frame) and were not very comfortable. The community pool is nice but the clicker to get in was not in the home so someone in the pool had to let us in. I know sometimes a homeowner can’t help it but we saw multiple cockroaches. Overall a nice house just the things that we noticed.

Worst stay ever at a Galveston beach house

The listing said there was a dishwasher; there was not. There was no pool key provided, so we could not access the neighborhood pool as the listing said we would be able to. There were not enough bath towels for all our guests. 11 guests, and 7 towels were laid out for us. We found 3 more in a closet that was blocked off, so then we had 10. I had to go to the store to buy a bath towel. Also not enough silverware for 11 guests, so we had to wash dishes (by hand!) constantly. Also no dish drying rack provided. One of the bar chairs and the child high chair tray were broken. There was dog poop in the yard, and roaches all over the kitchen (killed one almost every time we opened the pantry door). Would not recommend.

Important Notes

The property was good but these items need to be addressed: The bottom drawer of the stove had dirty pizza pan and the bottom of the draw had a 1/8 in layer of grease in it. It was obvious that it had not been cleaned for some time. The shower floor was extremely slippery and needs to be corrected. My wife slipped but did manage to grab a safety bar and keep from falling. VERY DANGEROUS! The shower facet handle could not be used easily to adjust the water temp. No ice maker. Suggest you tell next renters that. Kitchen was well appointed with all the pots and pans, utensils, etc. to make the say very convenient. Stove worked well and the refrigerator was clean and worked well. Very nice TV

Only 1 Full Bathroom/Outdoor Shower Counted As Bathroom

The main page of this listing says Bathrooms 2 Half Baths 2 which would lead most people to believe there are two full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. There are not. There is one full bathroom upstairs. They count the outdoor shower as a bathroom and don’t bother to clean up old pieces of soap leftover from people who stayed there before. They post pics of the same bathroom twice with a different shower curtain and different items on counter. They are for sure trying to mislead but you can find the details if you look enough. There was toothpaste splatter on the mirror and old food left on the drying rack in the sink (no dishwasher) they don’t provide beach towels or laundry detergent. It is bare minimum for a high price. Wi-Fi doesn’t work downstairs. I’d find a better place if you’re looking.

You can see the ocean from the property. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful. We enjoyed the ice cream truck that came buy on Saturday. It brought back memories when i was a child.

Wonderful Location, Cozy House, Quiet Neighborhood, Not to clean we had to wash everything we used,the plates still had hard dried food on them, there where used soaps in the rinse area with hair it was grossed, also the downstairs room had used soap as well and found dishes with mold, the internet did not worked neither the arcade game downstairs.
