Masthope Mountain Paradise

Our house is located in the beautiful community of Masthope!! We are only 10 minutes walking distance from the lake and short drive from the Big Bear Ski Mountain, where guest receive 25% discount. You will have fun no matter what season you decide to visit us. During winter, you can ski, snowboard, snow tubing, cross country ski, go on multitude hiking and ATV’s trails or just sip a glass of wine by the fireplace or our outdoor fire pit. For the animal lovers, the Stables of Masthope offer pony rides and a petting zoo or guided horseback riding trails for the entire group.

During Sumner, you can enjoy many activities with your family including picnic and playground areas, concession stand with ice cream, send volleyball, boccie courts and miniature gold. The Masthope lodge includes an arcade room for the kids and the Summit restaurant with fabulous food and drinks for the entire family. The community also offers swimming pools with slides, kids splash pad, adult pool and a tiki bar with live entertainments and weekly farmer’s market. The lake offers beach, free kayaks, canoe, pedal boats, and paddle board rentals.

Our house is spacious and comfortable and comes stocked with all the comforts of home. The open floor plan includes five large bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 5 TV’s and multiple entertainment areas where families can spend time together but also spread out to relax. Each bedroom is complete with comfortable linens, and plenty of storage. Ground walkout floor, is equipped with Foosball and ping pong tables, family room with a living area, TV, family games, puzzles and Lego's.


The outdoors has a screened porch, large deck with a table and seating, a gas grill where you can grill your favorites and a fire pit to have s'mores, drinks and as you enjoy visits from the wildlife in the area.

Second Floor: 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room with TV and fireplace, kitchen, dining room, patio, screened porch.

IMPORTANT Information on Community Amenity Passes:
There is a registration fee with the community per reservation. That fee is in the booking costs.

During the summer months between Memorial Day and Labor Day, community amenity passes are required to access the pool and beach only on the days you use them. The cost is $8 per day per guest.
