If you're looking for budget friendly and functional place to stay, look no further! This 2bed/2bath condo is centrally located only few minutes to the strip and only 1 mile to the Convention Center.
This is an urban working class neighborhood. There is a lot of foot traffic since it's also only minutes to UNLV and the airport.
If you like to judge a book by its cover then this place is not for you. But if you're looking for an affordable/comfortable/convenient stay - then this will be perfect!
Hidden Gem within walking distance to convention center
My friend and I came to Vegas for the level up convention last weekend. Our stay was great. The condo was clean and we walked to a from the convention center without and issues. Our host was amazing, great communication. We will definitely rent again when in Vegas.
Condo listing with details and photos were not exactly the description that was shown on the photos. It was actually an apartment and it was not in the best location or condition. There were a few things that needed to be repaired and should be fixed for future renters. Overall the stay was nice and a success. Thank you for letting us stay. God bless.
Bathroom shower is not working, flush is not working. Bathroom hangers are broken. All kitchen cup boards are covered with paper. Not at all recommended for stay.
The place is nothing like the pictures posted The refrigerator had left off food that smelled so bad that we left and didnât stay closet doors where not working this place didnât seem clean at all sorry this is the first time I was upset and disappointed with my booking
We stayed 3 nights. Clean condo comfortable. The neighborhood looked a little rough. Several homeless people on the street. Every night a man was rummaging in outside trash bin and people yelling during night. But our cars were never bothered. Parking was off the street behind unit.
We booked this property because it was reasonably walkable to/from Sphere, and off the strip at a very nice price. The host advises "budget friendly and functional place to stay", and that is accurate. The furnishings were good, everything inside worked, and it was comfortable.
The host also says "If you like to judge a book by its cover then this place is not for you".
Be aware the cover of the book is a neighborhood in the flight path of airport's north/south runway, with homeless people occasionally wandering around dumpster diving, junk motor vehicles parked in the street, and a children's school bus stop in front of the building (and they can be loud at 7:30am on weekdays).
We were thrown off by the high quality photos and failed to do the research of the location via google maps street view. Not to mention the photos showed a beautiful inside complete with a nice kitchen table and other furniture and decors that was simply not there at all. Like, just plain missing. Iâm not an overly needy or fancy person, but the place was dilapidated at best, stuck on coverings peeling off the cabinets and all. We couldnât lock the security screen door from the outside if we wanted to, and we couldnât lock the interior wood door knob, only the deadbolt on that inside door with the one key provided. Not even a code for the code lock, but like a hard key, key. The worst part was getting picked up by the Uber driver to go stay at Virgin hotel (which was hand over fist a 10,000x better experience) and the driver saying âwhat are you guys doing over here? This is a very bad neighborhood, you donât want to be here after darkâ. The door looked like it had been attempted to be pried open a couple of times too, so ya, overall just false advertising and a dangerous neighborhood. Stay away, and VRBO maybe consider flagging this one.
