Humble, homey and charming for a couple and a dog

My husband, my small dog and I LOVED this cottage so much. We both agreed that we almost hated to go home. The fenced yard with the huge redwood was a real bonus for both ourselves and the dog, plus the gas fire feature that was so cozy in the evening. It was also quiet, while about 1 block or two from the lovely town park, and a few blocks from Main Street. If you have to be in Lakeport, this is the place to stay! ALSO the host, Justin, was so very friendly, professional and responsive when we had a few issues that he resolved quickly (e.g. wifi issues). I can't thank him enough. We made a 2 week reservation and extended it a week. This place is beyond wonderful.

Super cute

Super cute place, perfect for worry free relaxing very close to the lake. My dog loved the fully fenced yard, the landscaping and evening lights felt enchanting. Lovely historic home. Host was welcoming and responsive.

Fit my needs

The washer and dryer was a plus. All was as advertised and the property worked well for my business trip. Walking distance to the water and restaurants, I would stay here again.

Perfectly Cozy

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the host was more than accommodating to all my questions. The home was cozy, comfortable, and the perfect size. The backyard was such a beautiful way to feel a retreat-like experience, not to mention, the easy 2 block walking distance to the lake. I had the property to myself but the carriage house is fully detached from the main house. A separate entrance and no windows to the neighboring main house provide no compromise on your privacy. The place is clean, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is roomy and the surroundings are calm. I will most definitely be staying there again.
