Cozy Cabin in Pines w/ Views!

Make yourself at home in this cozy 2 bedroom 3 story cabin surrounded by tall pines situated on a half acre. This cabin is located .3 miles away from the historical Strawberry Schoolhouse and a charming pond just a short walk way. This cabin has beautiful views from every window. The loft is stocked w/ games and books. Don't be surprised if you see elk pass by, they enjoy the views too! If you have any questions the hosts are nestled not too far away (but just enough) in an RV on site.

*inflatable hot tub for 2 is mountainside with incredible views surrounded with solar tiki torches - *SEASONAL* April 1st-November 1st
*Canoe available to borrow upon request - must have truck or trailer to transport

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was beautiful and the grounds were perfect! My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and there is wildlife everywhere.We definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat

Awesome place, nice hosts, beautiful town!

Had a great time! Very clean, responsive hosts, hot tub was fun, town was great to explore. Just know restaurants are all closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Also if you want to go to Old County Inn for pizza on a Friday, be prepared for a 2 hour wait!

Lovely Spacious Home in Rim Country

Comfortable beds, great patios and roomy living area. Well appointed bathroom. Lots of stairs to climb to get into the house, not a problem for us, but could be for someone. Close to several good restaurants and shops. Wildlife galore!

I can tell Jennifer cares so much about her guests. The bathroom is stocked with commonly forgotten toiletries and the kitchen as everything you need! I love the tiki lights in the back yard at the hot tub and we saw elk behind the house!

Second visit to this property

This was our second visit to this property and it definitely won’t be our last. Everything you need is provided and the property itself is gorgeous. We’re able to include our dog in our visits and having him with us makes it even more special. The deck overlooking the forest along with the proximity to numerous restaurants makes it the perfect location Jennifer is a wonderful host and I highly recommend this beautiful home for your next trip.

Fun family weekend

We absolutely loved our stay! It was so clean and fully stocked with everything that you need! We met the hosts who are located on site and inquired if they had a baby gate to keep our toddler safer from falling down the stairs and they immediately went and purchased one which was beyond expectations. Phil and Jennifer are so kind and responsive. They invited our little kiddos (2&4) down to feed their bunnies and we had a wonderful time getting to know them. The cabin has beautiful views and it is a perfect place to relax. We also loved grilling outside on the patio! So many elk and other wildlife wander through the town which was really fun to see.

Beautiful hillside view location tucked into the pines!

The cabin was the perfect quiet, cozy getaway for two of us and our 2 small shelties. Tucked away on a dead-end street, surrounded by tall pines, the cabin sits high on a hill to capture views of Strawberry Mountain and seemingly endless pines. It was very quiet and comfy for us and our dogs. Steps up to the 3-level cabin were many but easy for us and our older dogs to navigate. The home is 2-level plus loft. The upper level with eat-in kitchen, large bedroom and bath is open to the lower living room with lovely views of the mountain and pine trees. The open layout makes it feel very spacious and airy! There’s an upper loft (which we didn’t use) open to the lower 2 living spaces, outfitted with 2 convertible beds, a window to allow light and treetop views. Sited on a hill, the cabin’s multi-level design takes advantage of views. During the day, vistas of pines and lush mountain, at night, the stars, which can be seen from the hot tub, secluded and surrounded by solar tiki torches! A large deck in front with comfy chairs and table is the perfect al fresco dining spot and the hilly, fenced yard is great for dogs who love to climb and explore. The bedroom has a king bed, TV and storage. The bathroom has a large vanity, plenty of light from a large window framing the pine view and a stacked washer/dryer. We took walks with our pups, watched movies and enjoyed exploring Strawberry and Pine’s shops and dining at fantastic restaurants! A relaxing trip and great place to stay!

Cute home, clean, quiet, and nicely decorated. There are 37 steps to reach the front door. There was no closet or dresser space to unpack. It was ok for a 4 day stay.

The house was perfect for 4 people and the location was amazing! The deck was amazing to take in the Pine trees and we saw a few elk walk right into the front yard. We would totally stay here again!!

Weekend getaway

What a beautiful home. Cute, spacious, all around breathtaking environment. Elk walking around….quite an experience up in the mountains. Walk out the back and up the little short path to the HOT TUB under the stars. This place was EVERYTHING! Romantic and private. We also had our toddler… he loved the layout of the house. Atrium, loft, lower recessed level, checked every box for us for a perfect weekend in the hills

Perfect place to get away for the weekend. Great pricing and house was equipped with plenty of home goods to use while you’re home away from home. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to next time. Wonderful home in a very friendly neighborhood. A lot of people waved hello, which was a great reminder how friendly small country towns are. Beautiful cabin with a perfect location

This is the third cabin we’ve stayed at in this area and will definitely be our go to for our next Strawberry vacation. Besides being very well equipped, clean and quiet, it had the perfect fenced outdoor area for our small dog. The deck is beautiful as well as the seating area in the beautifully landscaped yard. There are numerous restaurants nearby and outdoor activities. Highly recommend this cabin for a couple or a family.

Wonderful Stay

We had such a great stay at Jennifer's home. We were welcomed with chocolate and big beautiful views, and communication was great throughout our stay. What more could we ask for?! We would happily stay here again.
