We had a great independence holiday enjoying fresh air and quiet. We spent the weekend shopping in town and enjoying all the good food. The house was very comfortable and we slept very well. the cabin had everything we needed. Everyday we saw elk walking and eating in the neighborhood. We went hiking at the natural bridge. The weekend was exactly what we planned.
Overall very nice, well stocked and air conditioning. The patio was dirty and not suited for a morning coffee. Seeing three large doe trapse by in back was exciting. No negatives, really.
We booked this property for a short getaway to see the snow with my family! The place was perfect! Very clean, comfortable and cozy! They had every kitchen utensil I needed to cook - we even had a nice fire our last night there! Will definitely be booking again
My husband and needed a quiet weekend away, and with Pine only being 1.5 hours from home, it was the perfect spot. The house was a great size, decorated really cozy. The furniture was comfortable, and the porch allowed us to enjoy the weather, and wildlife. Bonus was getting to bring our furbabies with us, and I think they enjoyed it as much as we did. We'll definitely be back!
It was close to to 87 but not to close, the place had everything we needed especially in the kitchen. It was clean and perfect for the 4 of us. We canât wait or do it again! Thanks Diana! Sincerely, Dwight and Janet Miller
Our stay was so relaxing! This is our second time staying here and we had such a wonderful time! Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere! Brought our dog and she loves it as well!
We spent 2 nights for hiking and exploring the area. The location worked for us to enjoy tonto natural bridge, water wheel trail and the pine view trail. We ate at That brewery and Payson the next evening. We came home before dark to make sure we could find our way back to the vrbo and parked along the side of the house. (Carport has low clearance even for a medium suv) great star gazing and wildlife from the backyard. Comfortable beds and pillows.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The elk sightings were such a treat! The house was clean and had everything we needed and more! Great place for our 4 year old and our dog - very child and pet friendly!! Location is perfect!
The elk every morning and night made my entire trip!!!
The house was just perfect for us, very roomy, restaurants are 3-5 minutes from house! This was an ideal location for rest and relaxation. Very pet friendly.
Great little home away from home! This place was perfect for our family of 6! Owners very responsive to anything we might have needed to help our stay be perfect!
Everything was amazing! My cousin & I went up for our birthdays - with our dogs - it was a relaxing & fun trip! The elk visits were incredible! We are excited to plan another! Oh, and the PieBar was an unexpected bonus! Thank you so much for having such an awesome place!
I love this property! Very spacious for a 2 bedroom. Very clean and quiet neighborhood. Very well equipped. This property is perfect if you're looking for peace & quiet, but not too far from civilization. I plan to return as soon as I can.
Very clean and well equipped. Loved the visiting elk grazing. We were very comfortable and would return. TV reception needs improvement but we didnât come to watch TV. While visiting be sure and go to Pinewood Restaueant for AWESOME burger. Had a great visit to Pine and would rent here again. Thanks!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even took some pics of visiting Elks.
TV was a problem....perhaps cable would be more efficent. I realize its more expensive but probably works. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Michael
A quiet rural neighborhood just north of Pine, an unincorporated small town on the Mogollon Plateau. A 2Br-2bth prefabricated home with a fenced backyard great for our dog. Very close to a trailhead for numerous trails of various degrees of difficulty including access to the Arizona Trail from Mexico to Utah. We wanted to go somewhere that provided a variety of hikes and it fit the bill. The home was comfortable with a morning surprise of 6-12 Elk on 2 of the mornings. We cooked our own meals for which the kitchen had ample utilities, but we should have brought our own nonsalted garlic powder. The furniture and beds (King in the Master bedroom) were comfortable. We spent most of the days hiking and didn't go out to eat so can't remark on any of the eateries. The house had close neighbors on both sides and the front but was on a hill that overlooked its large backyard and pastures of other homes in the area that was very nice to look out on during breakfast and dinner. When we go on our hiking trips we don't watch much TV just catch the nightly news for 30 min then cook and play monopoly after dinner but the TV had lots of channels for those who would be interested. It was a nice relaxing 2 and a half day stay. We called the host to get advice on hiking trails and she was very helpful. The weather 70s with a cool breeze was great.
We recently came to the Pine Community ourselves. We love the views, the quiet, the feeling of safety, and of course the Elk and Deer. After retirement and leaving our Ranch the slower pace has been a welcome.
