Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabins views were amazing. Cabin stands alone for the most part and doesn't feel like you are stacked up amongst others which was a plus. Beautiful updates including bathrooms. Could have been a little cleaner upon arrival would be my only complaint.

Great location, nice cabin, cleaning crew needs to be fired

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived at cabin and everything looked really nice. The cabin is situated in the mountains with beautiful views. Balcony with hot tub is great, fire pit sitting area was nice (lights worked when they wanted to) and backyard was wide open. Parking is plenty for a few cars although we only had 1 truck. The inside decor was nice, very comfortable and relaxing. Loft area with extra room was cool but we never used it. Loft was great to watch Super Bowl. No TV down stairs in the living room which I can’t wrap my head around. Zero reason to not have a TV downstairs. Main bedroom was nice with opening to balcony. Stand up shower was nice as well. King bed extremely comfortable. 2nd bedroom downstairs was nice as well. Bed very comfortable and also had a nice sized closet. Kitchen was nice and roomy. Front balcony was cool also. My main issue with this cabin was the cleanliness. Curtains were dirty (had animal **** stains on them along with other stains) throw blanket had confetti still on it from previous guest which means it obviously wasn’t cleaned and ladybugs absolutely everywhere inside the house which means they didn’t sweep or mop. I understand the ladybugs to a point being in the woods with bugs but for that many to be all over dead and alive was a little concerning. We swept and cleaned and still they seemed to be popping up everywhere. No we didn’t have the doors propped open at any point. Nice cabin but cleaning crew needs to 💯 be fired

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall experience was good. I’m going to start off with the good. Convenient location, beautiful view , plenty of room for our two family’s. Great communication when coming close to checking in. However, when we arrived , hot tub cover was off and the temp was 64, we had to put top on and was not able to use it the first night. The cleanliness of the cabin was “ok”. There were dead lady bugs in some corners and there was a huge hairball in the corner of the living room. The cleaning person also left a roll of cleaning paper I’m assuming up stairs on one of the night stands. The fire place was a great touch to the night, BUT it stopped working the first night. We only used it for an hour and it would never turn back on the rest of the 3 nights we stayed. It was a gas heater and we looked and there was still 60 percent of propane left. I’m not saying we would never stay there again , but I’d definitely want the fireplace working.

Never coming again

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Visited Smokies with guests and young kids and were excited to be staying at a secluded cabin with great views, but little did we know that we would be welcomed by a poorly managed house. The water in all faucets smelled of being sewage water, notified the management but they did not send someone to address the problem until late morning the next day (that too after repeated follow ups) and we were left with no water to wash, cook, or shower. Once that was fixed, the master bedroom shower turned out to be completely clogged and not draining. They fixed it temporarily, only to be not draining again the next day. We planned to make use of the hot tub the next day but we were shocked to see that the tub was completely stained of dirt and the water was brown. The chlorine dispenser floating on the water was rusted and worn out as if hadn’t been replaced for ages. The water did not seem to have been replaced as the property claims to do between stays. Lastly, and very importantly, the property location is not suitable for large vehicles unless you’re driving 4WD. They have multiple steep V-shaped turns to reach the property atop the hill. It led to nice views but I’ve no intention of risking lives again. It does not take much for the property to clearly state this on their website. House was otherwise clean. Sid not have a TV in the main living area. The property also is not located within their resort but is somewhere totally outside. Overall, good views but with an extremely poor experience for the hefty cost of renting this property. Not coming again and will not advise.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin had a stunning view and was very clean. It still feels new and we had a wonderful time. It's located close enough to the grocery store, activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The only complaint was that only half of the hot tub jets worked, but it is still usable. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Pretty Mountain View’s But Dirty!

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Located in the mountains so the views are beautiful. The property has newer updated bathroom fixtures and tile but the property is dirty. We found stains and food crumbs on the counters from previous guests, dishes had caked on food placed back in the cabinet, the light fixtures and fans had thick layers of dust on them, visible layers of dust on furniture. Something was spilled down the wall in the loft area. The sheets didn’t look fresh and had stains on a couple of the pillows. The floors had dirt piled in the corners. Made me questioned how well anything else like the showers and toilets were actually cleaned. The rental company told me they would bring new linens but a house keeper wouldn’t be able to come out until later the next day. I told them I would just clean everything myself. So gross. I know this property is in the market; the owners may want to visit the property. It’s not being very well taken care of. We have rented from this company twice. Our first experience with another property was amazing. This time not so much. Who wants to spend thousands of dollars to stay in a dirty cabin and have to clean on your vacation.

Wonderful View

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, my family and I had a good stay at this rental. We enjoyed the views, the mountaintop location and the house provided for our needs. However, the space was not cleaned well even at a basic level. There was dried food on the stairs, the carpet too easily left hair, dust and dirt on anything that dropped on it, food crumbs on dining chairs, leftover trash from past guests on the deck, and food and grease on the range. The lights were only half working in the kitchen which made it very hard to operate at night as we prepped food ahead for hikes the following day. It’s apparent that they rely on guests to report maintenance needs instead of inspecting and being preventative. Kitchen really needs an update on stocking items for guests - some basic cleaner, a scrubby sponge for washing dishes, storage containers and a few coffee pods to get people through the first morning after a long day’s journey would have been welcome hospitality touches. Maintenance took care of a drain issue for us in the master shower, which flooded immediately. Elk Springs staff was professional and kind. Yet, it took 2 visits for maintenance to tend to the issue.
