10th Birthday Trip!

When we first got there I passed the house because I couldn't see street numbers. I had to communicate with the owners and they were pleasant. My family loved the house and didn't want to leave. If we come back to San Antonio we will stay here again. The only issues my kids had was there were no tvs in the rooms.

Peaceful setting

Had our annual ladies' weekend getaway and this place was perfect! Great location close to shopping, etc., but also SO peaceful. The deer wandering through the yard were awesome and we we all enjoyed our stay with lots of room to spread out and come together. Definitely recommend!

It worked out good for us as the things we wanted to see such as the The Natural Bridge Caverns, were near by. Also the vineyard not far from the Caverns was a great place stop and eat. Check in and out was a breeze. Very clean and comfortable property,

Excited….then not excited

The House is Beautiful, it has a very eclectic floor plan. If your OCD like me this is the place for you immaculate. And I left it the same way I found immaculate. I love that you can see dear walking thru yards, it’ so gives and love the country vibes. Love the drive up circular drive way. I have always love circular driver ways. Don’t judge, I love 5 star get always. But, there was so many things they made me want to just go home. The keyless door lock did not work, I wanted to pick up my girlfriend from the Airport,but I was so worried leaving the door unlocked, I felt like a prisoner in the house. Because, I had my work computer, a WiFi box and expensive clothes. The hosts management company that it was okay to leave the door unlocked because they had cameras. But, anyone. Outdoor have come in the house while we were gone. What if someone came in the house when we came back or someone could have stole the owners items. I am very OCD about locking the doors even at my own house. I met the owners who were very delightful. They tried to fix the television, it worked for about 15 minutes and once we left to run errands for the day. The television internet still didn’t work, so the option we had was YouTube. Also when we return, the lock still didn’t work and the front door still did not lock unless we were in the house. For the money I spent I was very disappointed. and it the littl things to me.

Wedding Party

The property was great. Wish the hot tub was full and functional. No notes provided to indicate it was not available at this time. Would have given higher rating except had a hard time communicating about the check in process and the code that was finally sent did not work. Magically got in but did not resolve the code issue until the second day.

Wonderful home

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the county like setting. Deer in the yard in the morning a bonus! Would highly recommend.

Family Getaway

We could not have been more impressed with this property. Spent a week here and had a family get together at the house with 14 people and there was plenty of room to entertain. House was as described and very comfortable for the whole family to relax. We are already planning on staying here again next time we visit Texas!

Nice house

Wonderful house! Lots of room for all the 6 kids and 4 adults. Definitely would book again. Only thing is the house needs a new grill.... Was not able to cook out like we planned but everything else was PERFECT!!!

Winter LOVE

The home was amazing! It made the time with our family memorable. We had a really great time. The rooms and beds were extremely comfortable. Perfect layout. I hope to visit the home in the summer❤️

Wonderfully pleasant place balancing being in the country with San Antonio accessibility

Summary: highly recommend Positives 1. House in great condition, super clean, as advertised. 2. House was simply very enjoyable for whatever your party size is. Lots of nice nooks to curl up with a book, but also great spots to congregate together. 3. Outside is awesome. Was a great place for the kids because they could run and run and it was super quiet and far from busy roads. 4. Just simply a peaceful and quiet place. Loved just sitting outside and enjoying the awesome fall weather. 5. House simply felt lived and loved. Other places I've stayed at have felt super artificial. This didnt have that. Was updated and well kept. But also felt like a place that people had lived in which was great. Downsides: 1. Not a huge deal for us, but FYI kitchen equipment was extremely limited. If you plan on cooking, if its more than the minimum, expect to need to bring your own bowls/cups/etc. Very limited. 2. Bedding was on the decorative side. Not so much on the comfortable side. 3. One room is a second floor office with an odd interior screened window to the masterbedroom. Personally, Id be a bit weirded it to use the masterbedroom for more than sleeping if not with people you trust, but wasnt a big deal for us. Theres two other bedrooms on the 2nd floor and another bedroom on the first floor. Great place, absolutely would stay again.
