Jamaica Beach Trip

We enjoyed this property very much. Super clean bathrooms, kitchen is great for cooking indoors. The bedrooms are very nicely appointed and the beds are great. We would stay here again.

Amazing view, beautiful home and clean

The house is beautiful and clean. They provided everything you need. The view is amazing and waking up to the sunrise. Didn’t need to go anywhere since we spent the majority of time in the heated pool/tub and fishing on the deck, The host was prompt returning messages.

Huge house with Elevator

What a great place! The bunk beds were great for the kids and my elderly mother-in-law loved the elevator and was perfect for bringing up luggage. We enjoyed a good amount of time in the heated pool and hot tub. This was a perfect get away for my family. Johnson was a great host and was easy to get a hold of. We had zero issues with our stay. Amazing Experience!

What a unique property! Corner lot on canal with spa/pool combo was amazing. Very clean and house was equipped with pretty much everything you need. We really enjoyed cooking fresh seafood in the kitchen. Our favorite amenity was the spa. Host was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Dreams float

I can’t praise this Beach House enough. The house was very clean. Access to fishing was great. The pool was nice and warm. If I could give a sixth star I would. The host and house were above and beyond expectations. I would recommend this to anyone and I will definitely stay here again .

Beyond Expectations

This vacation rental far exceeded our expectations. The house was very well appointed with great amenities! Great views throughout the house on a perfectly positioned corner lot! And clean! This house was spotless! We have stayed at numerous rentals in Galveston over the last 20 years and this ranks as the best! Highly recommend Dreams Float for a relaxing vacation!

Amazing Vacation

We have stayed in Galveston a few times a year for over 20 years and this is definitely the best place we have rented. There is nothing lacking from the elevator to take everything up to the next two floors, to the amazing heated pool and hot tub, to the high end appliances. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms top of the line. Everything you could ask for was provided and the one time we did need to contact the owner, they responded in minutes. We came to fish but Mother Nature had a different idea and we were not disappointed at all with just relaxing in the hot tub, cooking on the wonderful Thermador stove, and sitting out on the decks.

Best bay house!

My family and I rented this home for a little R&R. When we first walked in all the kiddos mouth dropped and ran to pick a room. Everything was provide for everyday living. Had my laptop upstairs for quick business calls and the family enjoyed the pool area. In the evenings we would fish off the dock, kids sat in hot tub and enjoyed their time. Owners where just a text away and have done a fabulous job on this home. If you are looking to rent a vacation home, this is the place to get.

Perfect family getaway

December 20-27, 2023 The beauty of this property struck us the moment we drove up to the house. Upon entering the home for our Christmas vacation, we were overjoyed by the holiday decorations. A tree was placed in the living room and decorated throughout the main floor. It was a heartwarming surprise and thoughtful to say the least! Best VRBO experience we’ve had!

The house was beautiful and stocked with every amenity you can imagine. We enjoyed eating at Waterman’s the first night and had wine on the back patio after dinner. The pool was clean and nice and shady for our kids after long days at the beach. We slept comfortably and loved the layout of the house. The living room had some awesome kids toys and our children loved playing with them. At night we fished and caught blue crab to serve up with our steaks. The owner was very responsive and helpful to some questions we had. We can not say enough about the memories that were made and we hope to be back!

Ultimate fishing vacation.

This place has everything. So much space and everything is top notch. It seems no expense was spared to make this place perfect. You can spend the first day just discovering the amenities and luxurious appliances. Very good location, close to boat ramp and easy access to West bay for great fishing. We caught huge red fish, trout and black drum. Bait shop with very good live shrimp is just down the highway. Large fish cleaning station with water hose and electrical outlet. Highly recommended when you feel like treating yourself to fishing with luxury accommodations. Just a side note. I understand the owner's concern for security, but the only thing I wasn't enthused about is the outside camera coverage. It's a little creepy not knowing when and how often you are being watched. :) I know most properties have this but it's still not a comfortable feeling. However, if you treat the property with respect, you shouldn't have a problem.

My wife and I met in Houston and have enjoyed the nearly 20 years living in the area. We love to experience new places and cultures, so travel is something we do with our family as often as possible. It took us a while, but we discovered Jamaica Beach and were able to spend time at some of the great vacation rentals in the neighborhood. When the property we are in now became available, we jumped at the chance to spend more time on the island but also to become what we hope to be great hosts to share Jamaica Beach with others.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We came across 16700 Kingston and immediately fell in love with the decks and the corner lot. Our family loves the island, and we spend a lot of time on the beach side, but we were looking to explore the bayside as well.

This property had all of the potential and the right location, but we went right to work on adding a pool, raising the bulkheads to put all of the deck on one level, and giving the interior a refresh top to bottom.

Now we have a bright, roomy, relaxing bay option with tons of spots throughout the property to relax, cook, swim, fish, play, or really anything your heart desires.

We named it Dreams Float!
