Firefly Mtn Retreat - Amazing Mountain Views and Family Entertainment

Welcome to Firefly Mountain Retreat! This renovated 3-level cabin is located just minutes from downtown Helen with all the attractions, shopping and dining that the Alpine Village has to offer. There is parking for at least 3 cars and easy access into the main level of the cabin.

This beautiful cabin offers top amenities throughout, with one bedroom and bath on each of the 3 levels, a game room with three arcade games, a large back deck with a hot tub, a cozy fire pit area, mountain views with amazing sunsets, and much more...

The main level features a spacious open-plan living area, a gorgeous, modern kitchen, dining area, master king bedroom, full bathroom and access to the main deck with a gas grill.

The living room offers a beautiful stacked-stone gas fireplace, plush leather furniture, a large flat-screen Smart TV and Free Wi-Fi. The gourmet kitchen features stainless appliances, and granite countertops. The dining area provides seating for 6 guests. The main level master bedroom offers a king bed, large flat-screen HDTV and a full bath with walk-in shower.

The upper level offers a master bedroom/loft with a king size bed, large flat-screen TV and a bathroom with a beautiful white subway tiled walk-in shower. The sliding glass doors lead out to the top deck for spectacular daylight views of the mountains or awesome stargazing nights.

The lower level features the game room with the most comfortable couch you could imagine. The game room offers a large flat-screen HDTV, three different arcade machines and board games for the whole family. The downstairs bedroom features a queen bee bed with a private bath and another walk-in shower. The washer/dryer is located on this level for your convenience.

The deck off the game room is where you will find the hot tub, wood-burning fire pit, the picnic table with 6 chairs and Amish Poly Wood rocking chairs where you and your guests can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.

‱ Minimum Age Requirement: Firefly Mountain Retreat is a Luxury Property and is available to families or to guests 25 years and older.
‱ Parking: Space is available for 4 vehicles.
‱ Access: Guests will receive a gate code for the community. The road and driveway are dirt and gravel..
‱ Pets: Firefly Mountain Retreat is Not pet friendly. No pets allowed.
‱ Location: 6 miles to downtown Helen.

The management company had it fixed by the next morning. The cabin was a little dirty. For example, when you opened a door, there was piles of dirt behind it. The hot tub was OK - had a weird smell. And the yard needs to be maintained. But everything else was amazing! The beds were so comfy and the arcade games were fun!

The basement was fun with lots of board games and arcade games to choose from. The Mountain Views were beautiful as well as the many sunsets we saw. The kids loved the hot tub and fire pit. I think the deck wood will need to be replaced soon, but other than that we were very happy we got to stay at this house. The property management company was also very easy to work with.

Fantastic Firefly

My wife and two young daughters stayed over New Years 2025. This place was truly wonderful. I was worried that the view of the mountains would not be as great in person as shown online. I was completely wrong. The view is stunning, especially from the cozy top floor deck. My wife and I actually ended up sleeping on the top floor because it was so well appointed and had such a great view. The main floor has a large “master” style bedroom and private bath

Beautiful views close to everything!

My husband and I had a great time enjoying this beautiful property. The views, and sunsets were just breath taking. The house had many amenities and we had a great time playing the video games and enjoying the hot tub. This was our first time in the area and we loved the convenience of both Cleveland and Helen being so close and easy to get to. Helen is beautiful all decorated for the holidays and the town itself is adorable and we really enjoyed exploring. We hiked beautiful Anna Ruby falls, Dukes creek falls, minihaha falls, panther and angel creek falls All which were between 15 - 45 minutes away. This is a perfect area and will definitely be back.

Wedding Retreat

We had a wedding to attend and decided to make a mini vacation out of it. The Firefly was the perfect fit. A beautiful home with an even more beautiful view. It gave us a place to recharge from wedding activities and make the time our own. When family came to visit before the wedding, they were blown away by our accommodations and immediately asked for the link to the house. Thank you to Georgia Mountain Rentals for making us feel so welcome and providing us with a perfect stay.

Unfortunately the weather did not permit our use of these amenities. Having the 2 gathering spaces was very nice and the bedroom/bath units were beautiful. Lovely views from the balcony and deck. Check in and out process was supported well by the staff.
